Actually BD Azu does run speed to outspeed defensive walls that don't get OHKO/2HKO from Aqua Jet like Skarmory, Mega Scizor and Mandibuzz. Also it lets it speed tie with other Azumarill. If you don't want to go max speed with adamant nature there is also the 88 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 164 Spe spread that let's it outspeed only Skarm (and other uninvested base 70). Same goes with Bulu where max speed it lets it speed tie with Mega Hera and offencive Mega Scizor (although for the later it doesn't matter since BP :P) and also lets you outspeed max speed Tyrantrum, Mega TTar, Mega Swampert, Honchkrow, Slurpuff before Unburden, Bisharp and offensive Seismitoad that can OHKO you with Sludge Wave

Team 1 is solid, nothing much to say. I dunno what the mixed EVs on the Rotom let it live but you can sacrifice some bulk for a little bit of speed to outspeed defensive Lando-T. Team 2 make Greninja either LO or Specs (you can still keep spikes with Specs). BB Greninja kinda needs the sheer power it gets from LO or Specs before its transformation. Splash Plate is meh. Lele's terrain can backfire at you blocking your own Water Shuriken and BP, so be careful. Usually the most common scarf users are above 100 base speed right now cause Volcarona is busted (and it also wrecks your team, since Alolawak isn't the bulkiest, is stealth rock weak and gets blown by Z-moves). I would recomend Scarf Nihilego and make Alolawak bulky instead of speedy. Zygarde would become an even more annoying problem, but between defensive Scizor and HP Ice Lando (and maybe HP Ice Nihilego) I think you should be fine. Team 3 usually Alola Ninetales is paired with many set up sweepers in HO teams, but I do think it can work in that team even though Arcanine and Gyara can be stopped a bit easy. I would say to run EQ over Ice Fang on Gyara but you have Bulu so better avoid it. You can try Substitute since behind Aurora Veil it won't be easy to break. Freeze Dry on Mamo isn't good. While it can surprise an opponent it's still very weak and outside of Rotom-W which is not that common anyways now every other water type in OU gets smacked by EQ. Better run Knock Off to get rid of Fini's Leftover's recovery or run Stealth Rock-Reversal-Shard-EQ with Sash and Oblivious for a suicide lead set. On Koko Roost is kinda useless since either it won't recover enough or you straight up prefer to attack with it. Both Dazzling Gleam and HP Ice hit pretty much the same things outside of Lando-T, which still doesn't like to come in on Dazzling Gleam. I'd say keep HP Ice and give it U Turn for the offensive momentum so you won't have to waste your Aurora Veil turns with hard switches. Foor the last move over Roost I'd say put Taunt to stop opponent's from setting Rocks since half of your team is weak to them and you have no way to remove them.

Restarting! Same Card and sprite! Team:

The team lacks a lot of speed! Alola Ninetales while it is fast it lacks offensive power even with max Sp. Attack to even be considered a threat. Cloyster can outspeed anything at +2 but before setting up its speed is mediocre. So that means your team has to bulk attacks before you do some serious damage and even with HP investement and Aurora Veil up you team does get worn down fast. Add that with hazzard damage and you can see that teams with momentum can steadily chip you down before you manage to KO them. I would say to switch Rotom's Specs to Scarf and invest some speed on Kyurem. I'm not saying to go max but at least reach a benchmark to outspeed certain mons like nuetral base 80 or something (Like Togekiss, Mamoswine, Chandelure etc.). Last make sure your pokemon weak to rock have an odd number at HP so they will take 24.5% from Stealth Rock, giving them the chance to switch 4 times and survive with 1 HP if they don't take any other damage. Also piloswine misses 4 EVs but that doesn't matter that much

I won't vote yet cause I will wait for other people's opinions, but here is my point of view on each one of them. Let's get 1st with the easy ones. Mega Metagross needs to be banned! This is coming from someone that has used it and I have said before that is not that broken. And I still beleive that! It's not broken but it just outclass everything else!!! Why would I need another steel type when gross can provide me bulk, damage and coverage that no other steel has? Why would I use another mega when gross gives a good matchup against half the monotypes? It's not that is unstoppable or ubeatable, it's just so good that if you want to go serious on the league you have to use it. On the other side, Jasper that has access to it, while he uses it often, he has a plethora of other similary strong megas and I don't think it would matter that much if he loses it. Festus on the other side does lose one of his fastest mons and mega slot and kinda restricts him to very slow mons forcing him to run TR imo, since he can't deal with fast eq users like Garchomp etc. On the next pokemon we have Greninja. Greninja for challengers is bad! Like really bad! What makes it good is that it can be virtually unpredictable and have the perfect coverage for each occasion. This is not a thing in Redemption! Leaders know your moves and can react accordingly. While STAB on every move is strong don't forget that it has 103 Sp. Att which if you think about it is lower than other pokemon that are consider defensive (like Rotom forms and P2). I'm not saying they are better attackers than Greninja, I'm just saying that they can hit harder with their STABs if they wanted. Also there is the thing that Greninja really shines in singles with its strong single target moves but it does have its niche in Doubles/Triples with Mat Block, which unfortunately I didn't see any challenger to abuse it . Ofc leaders still have the upper hand in this occasion since they can challenge in singles where Greninja has less power thanks to only 3 attacking moves... BUT if we watch Greninja on the other side, the 2 leaders that have access to it can abuse the shit out of it! Leaders can run, if they want, the perfect coverage for any challenger's team and also abuse the Mat Block in multi battles if they want. So as much as I want to say not ban, I do think is unfair for the challengers like how Megagross is unfair for leaders. So ban Greninja both Protean and Torrent! Last but not least is Aegislash. Tbh is a very one sided pokemon and while it does force a lot of 50/50 situations it doesn't really matter since there are a lot of matches to win and not just one! even if you get the 50/50 as a challenger in 1 game, you have to get it in all the other matches too, meaning it does force you to gamble in a lot of mathes. And even if you lose it, it still doesn't matter since you can rechallenge the leader as many times as you want and eventually you'll get the chance of winning the 50/50. Same thought process goes for Leaders since they also have to face many-many matches with and against Aegislash. Unfortunately I think that if Mega Metagross gets the banhammer treatment, Aegislash is going to be the superior steel type this time! The reason we didn't see many Aegislash this season I beleive is Megagross' existance and with gross gone aegi will probably be the best option against other steel types! Then again Festus still gets the shorter end of the stick losing once again a very good pokemon for his monotype, while Mira doesn't care that much tbh since ghost monotype is already very restricting with the few mons it has. I'll say not ban, although it should be in the top for being suspected in the start of the next season! Thing is, even if challengers run Knock Off/Trick etc. leaders knows it and can just keep P2 away from a Knock Off users and switch to a Mega with ease. But on the other side, leaders can run Knock Off/Trick/Toxic etc. on virtually any mon that gets walled by P2 and criple it. P2 isn't only an annoying mon for challengers, it's for leaders too, but they do have the upper hand against it while challengers don't! I wouldn't say ban P2 but I would say to suspect the Eviolite!

There isn't a single thing in UU that uninvested Heat Wave hits harder than fully invested Flare Blitz! Mega Steelix is still in OU and regular Steelix is irrelevant in UU. Also Mach Punch is consistant priority comparing to Fake Out and it's also one of the only things that can revenge kill Mega Sharpedo at late game if his team get weaken too much! As for the team, I would say run some speed on Mega Blastoise to outspeed bulky Togekiss so it won't flinch hax you without Thunder Wave and maybe for uninvested Gliscor and Arcanine (although most Gliscors do run some speed). If you want, you can even put a bit more for Jolly Crawdaunt although I don't know why you'd want to stay in! The only thing I dislike is the no speed Latias! There are many pokemon that you could outspeed at max speed and kill them before they kill you, even with the extra investment in bulk. I know that your team is already fast enough but i don't see the point of the extra physical bulk when you could just outspeed stuff like Terrakion and Krook and kill them 1st instead of letting them get a hit on you. Try out mox Timid with max HP and see how it works for you and if you don't like it you can keep it the way it works for you :]

I tried Taunt on Jelli and LO for Weavile! LO on Weavile actually made my life easier without needing to do as many predictions and the reduced damage wasn't noticed that much but I really felt it got worn down very quick. Taunt on Jelli didn't actually helped me much since most things that want to set up were already faster and actually against Stall Taunt on Heatran would have been way more helpful http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7ou-580817150 I didn't actually tried Toxic on Exca cause I prefer to damage incoming Landos and Zapdos to put them straight into Fire Blast range instead of waiting for Toxic damage to weaken them. Also is my other alternative to OHKO Volcarona if it doesn't set up in case I throw away my Heatran like this -> http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7ou-580497455 (that's a remind to always go for the Rock Slide no matter what!) I'll keep the Taunt on Jelli though cause it seems Earth Power on Heatran helped me more so far. But I'd probably return to Hex at some point if I feel that Jelli needs some more coverage (I might also try Toxic over WoW and see how it works)

Here are also some replays that show how the team works: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7ou-579949356 This game shows how much needed is Fire Blast over Flamethrower on Zard and how good is Magerna at keep Greninja in check! http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7ou-579946501 2nd game shows how much of a threat is SubCoil Zygarde! Weavile almost managed to pull it through but it couldn't get the flinch/crit on Ttar :/ http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7ou-579945518 3rd game the opponent's team didn't seem to be quite threatening but that Garde was hella annoying. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7ou-579941967 Here's where I realised that P2 can still get the Sp. Attack boost from Download regardless of the AV http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7ou-579937541 This is a very good game! I couldn't get some of my opponent's moves (like why he stayed in with Cress against Weavile multiple times) and that threw me off a little. Jellicent put the team on its back walling most of my opponents team and although some misses from my side made the game quite longer I managed to get the W in the end!

Hey my scrubs! Scrublord here and this is my first RMT in here I think. Today I bring you an OU team although the current meta is very unstable with pokemon like Greninja, Lele, Mawile and many more running on rampage! I wanted to build a fun team that is not filled with filth standard mons but at the same time be somewhat competitive (even though it's not ). So asked the help of my scrub friend @Azeria to build a team and even before I say anything he said "I'll help only if the team has Zard Y"! And so our trash teambuilding skills were combined to bring you this: Teambuilding Process: In-depth Analysis: Trevor (Charizard-Mega-Y) (M) @ Charizardite Y Ability: Drought Shiny: Yes EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Fire Blast - Solar Beam - Focus Blast - Roost Charizard is the star of the team and is here to punch holes in any team! Originally it had Flamethrower cause if you are like me you would probably miss 9 out of 8 Fire Blasts in a game! But the sheer power of Fire Blast can't be ignored when it can secure the OHKO on offensive Landorus-T and defensive Lando after rocks. Solarbeam helps to deal with water types that might want to take your fire stab and thanks to Mega Charizard's ability Drought it doesn't need any charge turn! Focus Miss Blast is here for Heatran and Tyranitar that both can wall Charizard. Last move is Roost which can help Charizard stay healthy if you are kinda get forced switch in Stealth Rock and hopefully you can get rid of them later on. Max Speed Timid is necessary to at least speed tie with other base 100 speed pokemon and max Sp. Att for as much damage output as possible. Sexcadrill (Excadrill) (M) @ Choice Scarf Ability: Mold Breaker EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Earthquake - Iron Head - Rapid Spin - Rock Slide Excadrill is my way to get rid of hazzards and deal with very fast pokemon like Tapu Koko, Greninja, Mega Beedrill and Nihilego that outspeed and threaten my Charizard. Dual STAB + Rock Slide provide almost perfect coverage against everything in the tier and Rapid Spin is to remove those annoying rocks! Mold Breaker lets Exca hit levitating mons like Latios and Rotom-W very hard and also hit through Mimikyu's Disguise and Sturdy mons. Max Speed with Jolly nature to outspeed even the fastest pokemon in the tier which is Mega Alakazam and anything else taht doesn't also wear a Scarf! Nihilego (Jellicent) (F) @ Leftovers Ability: Water Absorb Shiny: Yes EVs: 240 HP / 128 Def / 140 Spe Bold Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Scald - Hex - Will-O-Wisp - Recover Here we are at the "heat" part of the team!As I said, this wouldn't be a team of mine if it didn't had a weird pokemon, but also it wouldn't be mine if it didn't had weird EV spread ! Move wise it is pretty standard: Recover is to keep myself healthy, Will-O-Wisp to cripple physical attackers without needing to rely on Scald burns, Scald is for water STAB and with also an amazing secondary effect and last Hex is the secondary STAB that hits harder if the opponent is inflicted with a status effect, which it shouldn't be hard to achieve with WoW and Scald. Leftovers is for longevity and Water Absorb is the prefered ability not only for even more recovery options but also for complete immunity to water moves instead of a simple resistance! On the EV spread now: 240 HP EVs gives me 401 HP stat which gives me the most of the Leftovers recovery (25 HP) without wasting more unecessary EVs. 140 Speed EVs let Jellicent reach 191 Speed stat which actually let me outspeed quite a few key pokemon! Uninvested Heatran, while is almost non-existant in current meta, has 190 Speed letting me Recover 1st before it Taunts me or just hitting it 1st with Scald and weaken it for the rest of my team. It also lets me outspeed max Speed Adamant Alola-Marowak and Scald it before it Shadow Bones me, it outspeeds bulky Mega Scizor and I can burn it with WoW before it Knocks me Off and it can outspeed anything uninvested with base 75 Speed like Mega Heracross and Tapu Bulu and various other mons like uninvested Ttar, 164 Speed Band Azu, Magearna etc. The rest of the EVs go to Defense with a Bold nature to take physical attacks as easier as possible. You cant Ball Like Me (Magearna) @ Assault Vest Ability: Soul-Heart EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 4 Spe Modest Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Fleur Cannon - Flash Cannon - Volt Switch - Aura Sphere Magearna was put in the team as an answer to Greninja and Tapu Lele and to do that it kinda needs the Assault Vest to boosts it's already amazing Sp. Defense by 1.5! For moves dual STAB hit extremely hard with the max Sp. Attack investment and the Modest nature. Volt Switch is for momentum since Magerna is used mostly as a pivot to attacks that the rest of the team can't take and Aura Sphere is for steel types, mainly Heatran. Max HP EVs is for overall bulk, 4 Speed EVs is to outspeed opposing Magernas and 4 Sp. Defense EVs are only so Porygon-Z/2 can't take the Sp. Attack boost (which I thought wouldn't work either way since AV boosts my Sp. Defense at a higher number than Defense, but it seems it just looks at the raw stat since I did happened to face a Download P2) Manyula (Weavile) (M) @ Choice Band Ability: Pickpocket EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Knock Off - Icicle Crash - Ice Shard - Pursuit Weavile is my second wallbreaker but it hits on the physical side contrary to Mega Charizard. Choice Band is what actually lets Weavile hit so hard in combination with its two stron STAB moves in Knock Off and Icicle Crash! Ice Shard is for priority that let me pick off low life targets that might be faster either naturally or due to a Choice Scarf. It also is my way to deal with dual dance Landorus-T and Zygarde. Pursuit is here for Latios that is a solid check to Mega Charizard Y, but it also lets me kill low life targets that the opponent might try to preserve them by switching out! Buck (Heatran) (F) @ Shuca Berry Ability: Flash Fire EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Spe Hasty Nature - Lava Plume - Rock Slide - Taunt - Stealth Rock And here's my answer to Volcarona and any other fire type that half of my team is weak to lol! Let's start with the common stuff: Stealth Rock doesn't need any explanation, it chips away for free damage your opponent's team every time they switch. Taunt is to stop slower pokemon to set their own rocks or heal themselves with move like Recover, Softboiled etc. Lava Plume is STAB that it can also high a great chance to burn the opponent and either cripple a physical attacker or slowly weaken an enemy that doesn't care about the physical attack nerf. Max Speed to outspeed stuff and max HP for overall bulk. Now let's go to the secret tech of this set . Rock Slide lets Heatran hit Volcarona and with the 8 Attack EVs it has a 50% chance to OHKO it which is huge! Stone Edge can guarantee the kill, but the higher accuracy of Rock Slide is very important to deal with as fast as possible with that threat! even if I don't get the 50% Ice Shard from Weavile can pick it off easily! The Shuca Berry is also very important for this set cause most Volcaronas carry the HP Ground specifically for Heatran. With the max HP and the Shuca Berry unused it actually can live a Volcarona at +3 Sp. Attack if it had managed to set up that much with Quiver Dance! So this is the team! I know it's not a top tier team but I have a lot of fun using it and it is still somewhat usable. Lastly a big shoutout once more to @Azeria for his help!!! If I had to name the pokemons that this team has huge problems agaisnt I would say Dugtrio is the biggest one and Substitute Zygarde. Duggy can trap and kill half of my team and Zygarde can pretty much set up Sub against everything except Weavile, meaning I can't revenge kill it with Ice Shard Behind the Sub! Other notable threats are Mega Medicham , Mega Gyarados , Mega Sharpedo and other weather teams. Importable:
-
With Screech you can lower it's defense by 2 stages and smack it with a Gunk Shot. I'm pretty sure Muk is bulky enough to live 2 HP Ground from Clef without any boost
-
Get a steel type to deal with his Swealow. Steel types in general walls half his team and the other half has to rely on the weak HP Fire (or ground for Clef). Screech Muk should be able to 1v1 his Clefable so keep it as healthy as possible. Setting up rocks against the Wigglituff at the begining can help even more to wear down his mons.
-
Foul Play's damage isn't reduced if the opponent is burned. Foul Play calculates the opponent's attack stat as yours for this move, while burn doesn't reduce the attack stat itself but it halves physical damage in general (which has the same result, but it's not the same). As for the team: Stall without an Unaware user loses to almost every set up mon (Toxapx can't afford to Haze against everything)! Swap Heatran with Unaware Clefable. Wish/Protect/Moonblast/Calm Mind is probably what you should go for. Since Heatran was your Rocker and Chansey has a free slot, you can put Stealth Rock on her. Or you can give her Toxic for pokemon that aren't affected by Toxic Spikes like Latios, Lando, Charizard, Zapdos, Rotom etc. If you choose for Toxic, Clef can be used as your Stealth Rock user, although CM is usualy better in stall
-
I think I remember Ame said she started putting EVs and max IVs on leaders from Charlotte and later. That's one of the reasons why challengers find a small power creep at that point and think Charlotte is difficult based on the other leaders. Outside of leaders, I think there are some major fights with other characters (like Blake) that also have EVs

Torkoal itself is not a good hazzard removal, especially since you need rocks away with your zard! I would say replace your Reuniclus with either Blastoise or Donphan. Reuniclus itself doesn't provide any worth resistance for team and TR definately doesn't help your sweepers. While Donphan and Blastoise give you an overlapping grass weakness with your Gastrodon, half of your team resist grass anyways. I wouldn't necessarily remove Rapid Spin from Torkoal, but if you think 2 spinners are too much you can replace it with a support move like Yawn/Toxic/Clear Smog/WoW/

Why no one have mentioned Aura Break? Thank god gen7 gave us Power Contruct for Zygarde! Zygarde is by no means a counter to Yveltal and for sure not a Xerneas counter either! -
-
Oooops! I should fix that. Even though I don't think it needs anythink else
-
Team looks good overall but I would personally made some changes for redemption. 1st Serp needs 3 attacking moves since its limited coverage is mandantory to take on all 17 types. So I would replace either Leech Seed or Taunt for Dragon Pulse (I prefer Taunt to stop TR and set up in general) Since you already have Fake Out priority on Medi and you have Scizor for Bullet Punch, you could run either a secndary stab or Ice Punch. Garchomp can be your Stealth Rock user over Fire Blast and you can even test Rock Slide over Stone Edge. Have in mind that items and evs can constantly be changed :]

Restarting with same sprite and card! Team:
