  1. My condolences. Even though you are okay with it now, do not get surprised if you get too emotional once you get there. It's perfectly normal. I suppose your invasive family will turn your grief into annoyance and slight anger, so for once they may actually do some good to you, given the circumstances. I fully support this break of yours, but you wish to stay productive, take some work back home with you, some that does not need much internet. I believe the best gift the other Se7en members could do is to release the beta while you are away. However, this seems improbable.
  2. I've written down so many Nen powers and characters that would be on the show (most notably me having ice powers :3 ) that it will be a shame if he just gives us 5 chapters and then goes on a hiatus again. Other artists work much harder and longer, and they find time to make a chapter every now and then.
  3. You can bet today! Which will come out first? Pokemon Sun/Moon or Reborn ep.17?

      Another Felix

      Sun/Moon. Episode 16 hasn't been released yet

    3. Spineblade

      Spineblade

Unless E16 is released in the next few months and E17 is comparatively small, I would expect Sun and Moon.

hmmm..I think Sun and Moon tbh.

  4. The backsprites look even better! You should make a poll with your ideas and future suggestions to keep you motivated.
  5. Sealeo > Arceus http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/challengecup1v1-347397854 Where is your God now ?
  6. What about a real Plague Doctor pokemon, in the form of a mega evolution? http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=13705&page=5

  7. If that's your cup of tea, yes, be my guest Right now I'll ask for more, because simply aiming at the pokemon does not make it any different from those games you toss a folded sheet of paper and try to send it to the bin with the help of a fan.
  8. Red had a new avatar, so it was time to come back and check. I've already seen this little fella and I still want him for my team. I wasn't expecting another Water/Poison (or Poison/Water) but now you've hinted that this one keeps the typing, while Amona loses the Water part, just like Skrelp did in Gen6. That said, it's a very nice design, and I like how you put a little extra for the shiny sprite. Do we get to battle Tim again in Ep.2 or will it be Cat, since we didn't see her Ep.1?
  9. A visible EV/IV section would be nice. It would confuse children playing for the first time, but it's easy to catch up. Also, I'd rather Breeding for Moves was redundant.
  10. I just saw your edit. Only Grass is at this point kinda broken, although people would still suggest another rule. The most obvious one is the fire starter, as the candidates are few, and a Panda (even though I like the design) does not fit. If you ignore the panda, the other two are horrible and repeated designs. We already have a Water Aligator starter from gen2, which is probably getting spotlight with its Mega Evolution, and a goat/ram Grass type that's so similar to Gogoat from Gen6 it shows that these models were made years ago and they just waited for the best time to announce. Also, all 3 starters in the video share similarities (like same noses and eyes) which points that they are fake. I highly doubt they would connect the two parts via boat or a long train journey without us exploring the routes they travel. When travelling from Johto to Kanto, even if the maps are uninspired and lazy, we walk our way through this. A place we've seen insta-travel is in Gen3 for the Sevii islands, which were extra maps in the main story to justify our getting there. Even so, the maps you could travel in every individual island all included side-stories and the only main feature was opening wireless connection with RSE by finding Ruby and Sapphire in the various ruins, plus opening some gen2 pokemon to catch. If we were to see this in Kalos (or South Kalos for that matter) we should be able to journey our way through the region and not just pull a tardis-travel from a faraway region to another just so we can fit two regions in a game.
  11. Apparently the games have similar colors, as XY had Red and Blue, and Sun and Moon have Gold and Silver respectively. So they do hint towards a Johto-like experience, hence why I said it's quite probable. That said I also support this theory. However, for the sake of the argument, I will present some clues that try to refute this case. Things that point otherwise is the completely different scenery, as shown in the trailer, and the weird totem we receive that speaks of a far-away region. Given this is a new generation, it would make little sense for completely different in terms of pokedex pokemon to live in the different parts of the same country. In Kanto-Johto there were giant physical obstacles that separate the two regions, thus forbidding pokemon from crossing. They even say they discovered it, and they validate this with Johto being a region less technologically advanced and more keen on legends, spiritual and feudal town organization etc. If they try to do something similar to Kalos, that should include hints of war between the North and the South, to justify the separation and even the chasm between the pokedex in the two regions. It would explain the unused train, provide some backstory about how Mega Stones came into existence, but it will not say anything about the Kingdom mentioned in the library or the weird treasures we found. It's not easy just claiming South Kalos can be the new Johto, however it is feasible through certain methods only. That of course holds true in the case GameFreak decides to provide us with proper documentation and evidence for their choices. They are no strangers to lazy writing, and I am not expecting a literature masterpiece, but it will still be a great leap from their part if they decide to do so.
  12. Back with More Mega-Evolutions!! This time we have a pokemon that disapponted the fans with it's evolution, so it has come here for a long due apology. Mega Aromatisse Type: Fairy / Poison Ability: Regenerator HP: 101 Atk: 72 --> 82 (+10) Def: 72 --> 92 (+20) SpA: 99 --> 139 (+40) SpD: 89 --> 99 (+10) Spe: 29 --> 49 (+20) This is not the Plague Doctor we deserve, but the one we need right now. Strong, bulky, resourcefull and with many tricks up their sleave. It was a Healer before, taking care of its allies, but now all it cares about is Regenerating itself, so it can survive longer than its opponents. It's a corrupt doctor that hurts all that threatened him before, while still keeping his medical status. He can now laugh at Poisons, since he now uses them, and instead kill them with a variety of Psychic-type moves in its arsenal. M-Aromatisse gains boosts to all stats, most notably balancing its low defenses and receiving a generous Special Attack increase, which now makes it a prominent threat to the metagame. Moves added to his learn-set include Taunt, Clear Smog, Sludge Bomb, Agility, and Dark Pulse. Now it can work as either a tank that abuses Regenerator, or a Special Wallbreaker with sweeping potential based on Agility. If nothing else, it looks badass. If you wish to know where I got my inspiration from, click the spoiler
  13. It's highly probable, but we would have Z as the game name, wouldn't we?
  14. Please edit your post in a way that it does the following: 1. Tell us what role(s) each team member fills. This way we can give better suggestions as to what needs to be changed. While you are at it, it would be good to give elaborate explanations on those roles that include the reasons you chose the moveset, ability, and EV spread. This tells us what you want to do, so we can tell what parameters need to be changed. 2. A step forward is team synergy. Explain how those pokemon work together. Remember that just putting 6 individually strong pokemon together does not make a team. Check the type coverage and resistance coverage. This way you'll solve most problems by yourself. 3. Team-preview and small text between members. Makes it easier and more fun to rate. You don't want raters to be bored midway reading this, or get sidetracked by all the info posted at once. Make your topic animous and friendly, and if your team needs support, it will receive it.
  15. The timing is the first thing that tips you off. Then you have the designs that do not follow the starter rules. After that you notice how hard he tries to sell all this information with the bad imaging. This person took too much time trying to copy CoroCoro's style that they forgot what their actual goal was here. In the end, when you present such info, you don't put a million of new things together, as you are just confusing the reader. And when you see all that you can look for the edit flaws on the picture. My Japanese is essentially non-existent, but even I can see that they are writing gibberish.
  16. I find it hard to play earlier games now that the type chart is changed.

  17. How does the Romney topic get more views than Air Balloon? I blame Obama

  18. Multiple pokemon with X4 weaknesses do just fine. Unless you plan to play without switching, you will not have any problems with that. Not every pokemon needs to be a defensive powerhouse with no immunities. As of now, only Eelektross fits the quota, and it doesn't even have a secondary type. Make Steel/Normal a thing.
  19. I'm pretty sure at this point any change in Auth is influenced by Jericho in order to have an excuse for these jokes... I would also like to congratulate Tacps and, since he already knows how to do the job, he'll do just fine. Live long and prosper young man, so you can lock and warn and ban.
  20. The 2 Steel/Fairy pokemon were introduced with XY. With so many people that cling to the new generation because it changed the type chart a bit, I do not believe GameFreak will overuse certain typings. Ones that are seen in every generation have become a motif by now, and they are not necessarily good, as they do not excell in either offense or defense. Compared to those, Steel/Fairy is a great typing. Personally it feels too soon to introduce a legendary that has said typing, because all the predecessors are competend pokemon, and legends tend to be as well. Besides, compared to Volcanion that has a unique Water/Fire typing, a Steel/Fairy will seem bland and uninteresting. I'm hoping it's Steel/Normal. It's not the best, but it's unique, reflects on a civilization that's quite ancient, and can make it interesting as it's unexpected. The Normal addition has little competitive value (at face value), but the movepool and ability may prove otherwise.
  21. There is a thread for mega speculation. That said, S/M is gen7 but there's high chance it's connected to Kalos.
  22. In that case, M-Alakazam is going to have lots of fun in horde battles against it.
