Dark souls pvp use the term ganking considering the pvp matches are basically duels.

When you invade someone, the host of the world can summon random people who drop their signs to assist them. Usually frown upon.

Ganking is the act to come into somewhere and kill the enemy opponent there. That's a gank. Flanking is completely different, stop hating on MOBAs for being MOBAs.

@King Midas. Actually King Midas, that's just not even close to the meaning. The widely used term is actually referring to "gang killing" meaning a group of people attacking one person. What you described doesn't even make sense.

take smite, play a champion with sustain aka lifesteal or abilities to heal or have cc abilities and go to jungle start gromp or krugs get lv 2 take blue or red and rotate gank lanes when opponents push too much.

While he is a bit higher up there, and the play style may be a bit different, I've found that looking at some of Foxdrop's videos can be helpful when looking for advice on jungling.
