quite right about comfey, i will agree it is the more flexiable choice but ribombee still has a niche role it can fill, due to it being able to learn both light screen or reflect you can set up some defenses to cover yourself as you attempt to set up a quiver dance/support your tank mon via pollen puff. here is an example set you can run for it Timid nature, 252 speed, 252 special attack, 4 defense. Moves : light screen/reflect, quiver dance, pollen puff, dazzling gleam. and for items you have a few options in bugium z or fairyum z or you can opt to run choice specs and swap out quiver dance and your screen move slot for energy ball and psychic but i lean in favor of bugium z since if you do z quiver dance it restores your health giving you added survivalbility on what would be an otherwise frail af mon. i mean also with ribombee you can remove added affects from moves, which can make or break a situation if say your opponent is running a power up punch life orb lucario, that lucario wouldn't get the set up it wants to sweep. but i see where you are coming at with comfey, it is fast and has decent defense but that flaw it has is if it gets poked it dies with that abysmal health stat, it will not be healing long if it can't get some sort of a defense up. So maybe it will be smart to run ribombee and comfey together? they can support each other with their signature healing moves and ribombee's speed can allow a screen to be set up followed by comfey setting up grassy terrain. Then after that ribombee quiver dances and heals comfey when needed and comfey keeps ribombee topped off till you can dazzling gleam your foe to death.

all of this talk about the new pokemon in singles but i feel some VGC coming on i believe ribombee will have some useage in VGC formats due to that signature move it has where it can heal your ally mons at will or hurt your opponent which fills the role of recovery move and offensive stab in one move slot. it seems really gimmicky but fun at the same time to run with say a follow me eviolite clefairy? i can't wait to see the utter insanity it can do if it is truly useable.

yeah the gyms were abit of a push over for the most part but hardcore exists for a reason you know.... because suffering is magical~

it depends in all honesty with me i go digital if i can get the game cheaper or its on steam or is free i go physical if the box looks cool

pft, who needs a mega ring when Blazeikin is already broken as it is.... i highly doubt Ame would throw blazeikinite at our faces or the kanto mega stones for that matter, too good for us to have during the main story imo i just hope we get mega Altaria in E16, that would be glorious also please can we just kill off Fern now?

To be honest the rant over the recent league episode is slightly unjustified

you evolve eevee with 25 eevee candies and you are given by RNG one of the eeveelutions so you have no controll which one you will get

evolved an eevee today got a 280 CP jolteon from it, i know it is not high at all but it is decent since i am only level 7 also DABIRDADANORF <3

i know you should pick you favorite starter, there are plenty of pokemon early game that you can build a team with to take on early gyms with if you are resourceful with planning strategies, something i am terrible at but if you don't care about if the starter you pick is a favorite and are still unsure about yourself here are some good starters from my experience. Charmander - Dragon rage gives him a solid early game and when you need to have stuff to cover charmander's weakness you will have it if you don't mind looking around for the stuff Bulbasaur - here is an odd choice, but if you don't mind EV training some HP off of early bidoofs you can utilize him as a tank or bulky sweeper since he has access to plenty of status ailments which can help you for very solid battle plans to take on the gyms Mudkip - since he no longer is avalible from an event he can be a fantastic choice, if you get him to 16 and evovle him to marshtomp he trounces the first gym. But he will struggle at the second game but then after wards procede to become a power house Torchic- speed boost, swords dance/bulk up, and if you can manage potions effectively to keep him alive he can easily dominate most of the games content Chimchar - slightly different torchic but due to him getting mach punch he can be solid as a sweeper to deal with the freaking things that can use priortiy to deal with Blazeiken but the trade off is he does not do as much damage or will not have the same insane speed gain that torchic can get quite easily Froakie - Protean ability, nuff said EDIT: forgot to mention this BUT if you decide you don't want the starter you have currently do not be afraid to restart your game progress or make a different save file (you can use this guide from the FAQ's to do so http://www.pokemonreborn.com/game/rebornfaq.html ) not only does this allow you to pick different starter but also you do not have a set weather type when you start your save file so you can use that to get different events to trrigger

i live in a rural area but even so it took me awhile to make a solid list of all of the pokemon that are near where i live, i only counted pokemon within a 30 minute walking distance from my home. Even with me spending time being thorough i doubt i found all of the pokemon around my home

i am not sure How long are you gonna keep asking about stuff related to episode 16's release? In all seriousness you asking how long will it take for episode 16 to come out or how long has the status thread been at x amount of % is not going to speed up the process, it is just plain annoying m8 would you mind just being paitent like the rest of us?

i beat arceus with a level 6 onix because we get an onix from that guy who needs to find a house and it is level 15, throw common candies on it till it has 20 or less health and BAM as long as you have enough potions the pokemon "god" can't beat you since he has no status moves

i would really like to see a mega venomoth they could give him a mega beedrill treatment and lower the useless offensive stat in venomoth's case that means attack like if they shave venomoth's 65 base attack to 15 that would allow say 40 more in defense to make it base 100 and then 15 in special defense to make it base 90 and then throwing 60 in speed would allow it to have 150 base speed and the remaining 35 into special attack so venomoth could have base 125 special attack that spread would allow venomoth a chance to outspeed anything that normaly could one shot it and give it a chance to either set up some boosts or do some damage also keeping tinted lens would be fantastic for venomoth as he would be able to hit stuff that resists him fairly well

oh a thread about an upcoming dragon field type and no love for the greatest dragon slayer?
