  1. Got a Crobat, got a Gengar. Love both pokes but I need type coverage. Due to limited moveset, Crobat kind of kills but typing, Gengar will inevitably get me out of sticky situations. Who do I choose? P.S I don't do breeding, just not mah thang.
  2. Why didn't you roll with a fire starter instead of Pyroar. I've been seeing a lot of Jynx users, is Jynx a good pokemon? Isn't like any ice type better.
  3. I agree that it's definitely likely that Anna is high up but if she was the champion then why endanger literally everyone's life. Also how would the doctor be able to take her into custody. She'd be the damn champion, I feel that'd hold some weight.

    Noel

The only hard part for me was fighting Porygon, since he had signal beam and psychic and his hidden power I think is ground which takes out my Ampharos, Blaziken, Crobat, Krookodile and Gothitelle. Took me some strategy to overcome such an unconvenient moveset.
  5. Anna's Ace being Gothitelle and the leaders all being real people, I didn't know about. I honestly figured Anna was one of the later leaders and not gonna lie thought her ace would be Jirachi since it was her doll in contrast to her brother's. (Yes, I think a leader would roll with a legendary in this game of evil) I do like the Gothitelle/Reinculus link idea. As for champion, never gave it much thought and unfortunately Anna is gone during the El chapter so she can't tell you about him if she was champion. Also sorry, didn't realize you could edit posts.
  6. Didn't realize wynaut appears everytime you say why not. Ha.
  7. So, was reading through bios and what not and maybe I'm not the only one to come to this assumption but I think Noel and Anna are the children of Radomus for a few reasons. He's very aware the importance of the amulet belonging to Anna but chooses to keep it. Radomus isn't a jerk or an idiot, he knows the importance of the amulets and let's (Protagonist) keep the other. Why not just switch so at least Anna can be happy. During the Luna chapter he denies Luna being his real daughter but unlike Serra he doesn't deny ever having children. Anna and Noel only know an inkling about their father and nothing about their mother and Radomus' wife is dead before the start of the story. Radomus' involvement (just speculating) has to be more than just being a gym leader and Anna's ability to read/sense Aura (also speculation) I feel are connected. Finally, only three humans in this game have glowing purple eyes. That was my first, main and final argument but I thought I'd give a little bit more. I read somewhere that people think there is a crazy Serra, Radomus, El love triangle but until I know more about Lin (who I have a ton of theories on too) I think he may just be yet another sad used puppet like Corey. P.S. Seriously only people with glowing purple eyes, don't throw curveballs at me Ame.
  8. Yeah, I played the last gen pokemon, I chose X. Definitely the easiest not just pokemon game, easiest RPG I've ever played. Reborn is not like that. Reborn can be a tad challenging. I've never been the grinding type but if you want to make your battles winnable then just training a few pokemon (6 or less) will not cut it unless you mastered IV/EV and perfect item guide. The main thing I always focus on is type coverage, regardless of how strong any trainer you fight is. Pokemon at it's simplest is rock, paper, scissors.
  9. Zorua I think is in the team magma hideout on certain days unless it was changed and Cradily can't handle fighters to save it's life. (Literally) Also note that for every gym/boss battle the bosses always carry one pokemon that can counter their weakness and most of each team has pretty good type coverage so if you fight let's just say a normal type at any point, bring something to kill a fighting type's weakness. *wink wink*
  10. I beat the piss out of Noel my first time and my team only had 4 fighters. Charizard, Gyrados, Machamp and a very weak (low level) Aggron. Second time, I rolled through with Blaziken and some other peeps. Did not enjoy as I took a long time to play second round and forgot about the fliers. Worst time is always Taka/Chatot and El/Arceus. I haven't beaten Arceus but this my first playthrough with everyone being around same level and having a electric type with static. So I've got a few plans for taking down this cheap fake god. I miss Magikarp and all his elegance doe.
  11. I just posted where you can get the necessary item. Hah Ame, you took Gyrados you won't take her too!
  12. Hey everyone, I noticed in the location guide that it says you can't get Ralts until the Seventh Street chapter due to the need for magnet powder so for everyone that doesn't know there is actually a Magnet Powder in the Meteor Base (Amaria team-up) when you go down into the now (somehow even darker) basement. I didn't have flash nor do I know if it works or exists but if you fiddle around enough and press the interact button enough boom magnet powder and you don't have to wait till seventh street. P.S sorry for starting this thread but I didnt know it's likelihood of being seen in the Location forum for everyone.
  13. I'm just happy that she had the kindness not to add a pulse mode to the battle at the Radomus chapter.
  14. Thanks, this pic still makes me laugh haha. Didn't know that about judgement but yeah you could still really turn the tide and it wouldn't be a particularly cheap move. (Except for people who know exactly when the fight is)
  15. So I haven't tried this but since Reborn is all about next level pokemon gaming, I was wondering if anyone tried using fling while holding one of the plates to see if Arceus would possibly change types, removing judgement stab and possibly making him easier to kill. Don't know if he works like that but maybe it'd be easier to fight since he's literally the god pokemon.

    Big Brother

So I noticed today right after downloading Demarcation that there are a bunch of cameras in old and new places I visit. Little bothersome even though they can't see me. But the point of this topic is not just why are there cameras but asking who do we think put them there? Was it sketchy magee Radomous? The self-proclaimed heroes of Team Meteor? Was it you the player? Or maybe it's you just going crazy (which would makes sense since this isn't exactly easy to deal with). I'm curious what do you guys think?
  17. I saw a level 98 Goomy. Ame is you're favorite movie quote just "good luck"?
  18. I'm going to start off with a friendly disagreement. There are plenty of pokemon that have received (at the time) my boundless hatred but the pokemon that seem to return to my mind when it comes to being horrible are these. Number 3-Jynx. This is the most offensive thing among pokemon. It seriously angers me every time I see it. This is the pokemon equivalent to Snookie. Unfortunately a punch to the face has been proven ineffective to both. Number 2- Ditto. This is the most disgusting pokemon I've ever seen. Why Nintendo created this prostitute pokemon seriously bothers me. This is actually kind of sad since when I first saw this pokemon in the show I was touched by it's plight but now I would sue if I was touched by anything that had to do with this pokemon. Number 1 Garbodor. Were you even trying Nintendo? I see this pokemon and I think somewhere in it's organs is truly where the wild things are. It looks like what would happen if Muk just gave up on everything. This pokemon's main ingredients are sin and sadness, I don't know if it says that in the pokedex but it should. My list of favorite pokemon however goes on and on thanks the G1 existing (minus Ms. Blackface and the creature from the pink lagoon.) So I put in a small list of my top favorites. Number 5-Scizor. This is the symbol of G2 Badassery. It's like someone said "hey remember that scythe wielding badass we made? Let's make that motherfucker SHINE!" Number 4-Hitmonchan. I love everything about this pokemon. Of all pokemon if this guy existed I would own him first. He isn't number one because sorry Chan my heart belongs to another. Number 3-Mewtwo. I don't know if they just forgot he was an awesome telepathic, english speaking, war machine but if he was in the show as like a main character, I'd have never stopped watching. He could be like the pokemon version of the governor from "The Walking Dead" if they really wanted. Number 2-Charizard. I don't care what the pokedex or any mythology says about this pokemon he is a dragon. He is THE dragon. (True story "Enter the Dragon" offered him a role in the movie and he turned it down cause he had to help some 10 year old run shit for a few years.) Number 1- The truly greatest of them all is my man, our lord and savior MOTHERFUCKING MAGIKARP! This pokemon is fantastic in every way shape and form with a gold shiny form, he wrecks more than your bowels when he enters the field. His only downside is that stupid evolution but hey the B button was invented for a reason. (For more Magikarp gold, google "Motherfucking magikarp") The true king of my list is Charizard.
  19. Actually as per Clefable, if you watch the television in the game it talks about why (canonically) Noel kept his clefable. The reason having to do with his doll and I think it being (presumably) his first pokemon.
  20. I had a Machamp my first playthrough and I'm no ev or iv trainer and he wrecked everyone but the birds which as long as you have gyrados (the everything slayer) he can take the birds down with ice fang. Usually swellow who burns himself goes first so thats less hp and ice fang should take him out and if gyrados survives and you have moxie then the other bird is easier than duck hunt.
  21. I'll give you that, I think I saw your save file. But as a non-competitive poke-"man" I have serious trouble until I find items specifically tailored to each fight or just dumb luck.
  22. I'm glad to see I'm the only person whose bowels emptied when he mentioned elite four in the only game where the normal gym boss requires 2-5 attempts.
  23. Hello, first post on the site. I know I'm new but this guy is OP even for veteran standards right?
