So for Corey's team something that I noticed when I captured Croagunk is his ability Anticipation. Although when fighting him with my Greninja he had the ever so useful Dry skin (which didn't make fire attacks stronger btw). I don't know if this is a glitch or if Croagunk just happened to find one of the many now abundant ability capsules. Can someone confirm if this was intentional since I feel that doesn't really make sense.

I guess I've been doing this a lot lately but now I'm on the hunt for Frosslass since it looks like she may be available early. So i found an ice cave where I thought just Croagunk was and its called Citirine Mountain. A few pokes appear here but in the Locations guide this place isn't mentioned. Was wondering if anyone has found Snorunt in this place or if she even appears here. P.S You can still get Croagunk. Also looks like Nidorina is here but I need Strength to proceed.

So I feel like I heard that someone said Trapinch or someone in the Flygon family is available in the wild. If someone could verify since the Location list doesn't mention it that'd be awesome since he's my favorite dragon even if he's not the strongest. Just look at his goggles. He thinks he's people!

I'll join along. This story is mildly long. A few years back my dad worked as the guy who swings those crazy wrecking balls at old buildings and me being a young buck decided to bring my girlfriend and do some archeological work myself. Well in order to even get in the machine you need to bring the key and in order to impress I decided to plug the key in and swing away. After destroying a bit of the building and or my girlfriend at the time I told my buddies about it. My best friend saying I caused a lot of collateral damage. I also happen to play sports so whenever playing the nickname "damage" would come up. After a few years it began to just stick. So there's the story haha. P.S None of that is even remotely true, totally made it up on the spot. I just liked the word when I created my account. Hah wouldn't that story be cool if it were true... *sigh* good times reading that huh.. good times.

Every time I've tried to use Noivern since his debut I've had no luck with him. Just... just the worst I've used in the poke world. If it existed I'd feed it to dogs. But I've heard good things so I understand why reccomend. Been thinking about Embroar but if I added him that would mean no Arcanine so I'm not too sure who would replace pokeman's best friend.

Gengar is my ghost of choice butttt he requires some breeding to get the moves he needs to do well. Archeops is a good choice and while he has the 3rd worst ability in the game behind Slow Start and Truant I was never really hindered by Defeatist. Drapion is a poke that I've never used so if I choose any I think I'd roll with him. Considering now I have no flying or dragon slayers and it looks like Salamance and Dragonite are joining the enemy roster soon. It looks like I may need something along those lines but you're right Etesian I have no special attacks or defenses.

I considered Electric but I already brough Ampharos with me last round and Raichu is a tad troublesome to raise since Pichu needs happiness and that makes two happy based to raise. If I replace Leavanny which I'd rather not do I need an early rider to join in his place.

Here I am on playthrough number 4 and I want a team that is firstly involving mons I never used. I don't like grinding so a good deal of this team are early joiners. EV's and IV's will only matter for poke that i can soft reset for i.e (starter. gift, trade) Here is the team. Greninja/Stryder (Modest/Protean) My ever so modest starter and imo the best water type since Gyrados got himself axed. I like the typing and with Protean his only weakness is me... and his piss poor defenses but he's quick and strong so no worry. Water Pulse/ Dark Pulse/ Extrasensory/ Spikes Lick or Subsitute Hariyama/Gutsman(Adamant/Thick Fat) My personal thing for playing any pokemon game is having a partner poke since like Sapphire. Partner was Poochyena. I think Diamond was Stoutland, been a while and I usually change each run. But the partner doesn't necessarily counter the starter's weakness it's just my thing. Knock Off/ Belly Drum/Force Palm/ Maybe Reversal or Close Combat Leavanny/Hedges(Adamant/Overcoat) Like Hariyama, my first time using this pokemon ever. I like the combo and I think I've been sleeping on the usefulness of bug types except Scizor who... who's just the best. But I digest heh. Fell Stinger/ Leaf Blade/ X-Scissor/ Swords Dance Arcanine/Justice (Serious/Intimidate) I love this puppy. I dislike solo type pokemon because in Reborn coverage matters a lot. Although he's pretty strong and his defenses aren't awful. I think all three abilities are great but I will no doubt run into a physical beast at some point and I'd like to have... a legendary yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah Heat Wave/ Crunch/ Thunder Fang/ Extreme Speed Metagross/ X (Adamant/Clear Body) The game changer. Named after the blue bomber he's a good combo and all around good stats. I can't really think of any negatives and I'm very confused as to why he's even allowed in this game. If you don't know how to get him well it's a total b%&^ and even if you do and you're like me who got to the cave only to realize you only have 3 pokeballs then you will be waiting on the number gods. Zen Headbutt/ Meteor Mash/ Iron Defense/ Agility (Magnet rise while fighting Terra) Open slot, looking for reccomendations. Here is my first thought. Braviary/ Murrica (Adamant/Sheer Force) My Air force one right here is going to deliver freedom all over the place. In all honesty I hate late evos and this guy seems like a normal version of Honchcrow seeing as how you have to wait till 50+ to get the super useful move from him anyway and neither are bad pokemon but damn 54? If anyone has a better idea for a 6th pokemon let me know. Crush Claw/ Brave Bird/ Super Power/ Hone Claws Note most of the natures are on a best case basis. I don't have this team, this is just my aim to have. If anyone feels like this team needs rearranging I'm down to listen. This is just a team I feel counters it's weaknesses and can end fights before fights cause too much damage to recover from.

I'm fairly sure that Taka isn't champion but yeah I do expect him to be a defector... Although while Solaris is evil he hasn't showed any negative treatment towards Admin level Meteors at least that I've seen. So while normally I'd say he's definitely going to defect I don't see him turning on his father who during their only interaction made sure that he got away safely.

Just one episode 13, well that's a steal. Seriously though good work, pulling out all the stops right now.

I know a lot will hate me for this since Ame might be watching but if the event allows Elekid to hold electralizer again then Electivire is still possible to get. Also hooray because Seadra is in effect but boo for not having Kingdra who is a beast.

I'm leaning heavily towards Flygon. His typing is odd as sh#t but he's cool to me. I've looked at Goodra, there's at least a (slim) chance in hell that we'd get a poke like that. Other than the hours at the arcade (less than 2k coins are free I think) Flygon would be a good choice. Wish it was just a difficult event because money wise you don't get that much until Radomus. Assuming you don't buy necessities. I really dislike Noivern. His stats aren't what bothered me it was his zubat-ness when he first appeared. Ohhhhh the zubat-ness minus the cool and useful typing that zubat posesses.

Leaders owning it doesn't bother me much. I hate training Noibat, worst poke early game to me and sadly I suck at slots so I don't know if I can get Flygon who I'd kinda like since it seems until revealed the main char comes from the desert or at least that direction. Kingdra I'd love to join my roster but Amaria is kinda prevelent in the story so I don't wanna copy that. Tyrantrum is cool but I'd like wings (he's definitely crossed my mind though). Druddigon is almost as ugly as Garbodor in my opinion and looks are 40% how I choose pokemon. Beyond upset about the missed Dratini thing, would of been nice to add golden Chawizod to the team.

So as you may have guessed by the title, I'm looking for a dragon. I think you can't really be a hero unless you roll in with one. Granted seeing as how a lot of major chars have dragons, I need a dragon that stands out. I need someone to tell me which one they think I should roll with. Note-This dragon will be second fiddle to my starter for all future playthroughs and you can suggest a dragon that you (reasonably) believe will be added in future updates and does not belong to a character already in story excluding leaders.

But if it's movepool isn't as good, its stats aren't as good and it has to wait until around the same level to evolve then how is it better? Yeah I agree having boosted exp is great especially in this game but like I said earlier in this post, my advice is best on paper which is where Arcanine wins. If one has to wait until evolving to make use of its stats then it's going to be harder to train and keep alive. Moxie is a great ability but if the poke isn't strong enough to kill then all it is, is a cool name under your pokemon's description. Tier wise I don't know how any pokemon rank so if I line up the ones I want on paper and one's better with no outside influence that's the one I'll gamble on.

If earthquake and magnitude break icy field, why doesn't bulldoze?

Arcanine Fire 90/110/80/100/80/95-555 All abilities are useful in most scenarios but Intimidate is probably best for this game Pyroar Fire/Normal 86/68/72/109/66/106-507 Only moxie is really useful as rivalry can easily bring things south especially if you have a male Pyroar. @Etesian, yeah i just hate Ampharos' speed but his bulk has saved me countless times. I've yet to hear anything bad about Heliosk and I almost chose him my last playthrough. @Firebane glad to help, and mainly the suggestions are most accurate on paper. During a real fight much like your rain, no one can ever say beforehand what's going to happen. I think all fire/fighting pokes are starters but fire and fighting types are really common making up 15% of all pokemon. But this game is about strategy so I'm sure if you plan like you did with the rain, any team can win. Unless it has some loser like Mr.Bigglesworth.

You didn't mention Raichu and he ain't nothin to sleep on. Drapion is decent atk/speed as well as 2nd best typing before fairy came along.
