  1. "Thank you, I hope that-" Travis was interrupted by the riot that had just started in the pub. Funny, all of these people were just shouting in agreement a moment ago. Now they're beating each other to bits as if someone offended their great ancestors. "Here, take this." He threw the man he was carrying into Desmond's arms, still light as a feather. " Get him out of here, I'll be out in a sec!" he said as he dove into the fray.
  2. Travis turned his attention to the Desmond and accepted his flower. "Thank you, but I'm not stressed at all. Just making sure things don't get out of hand, y'know?" he said as his face was still situated in his mask of a smile. Their conversation was cut off short by a pedestrian falling in the middle of the crowd. "Excuse me for a second." Travis bounded to where the other man had fallen and put him in his arms. "Hey, you alright? Had too much to drink already?" No response. "Hm... troubling. Let's see if we can fix you up." Suddenly, two faint, cyan lights appeared from his hands. He was using his Gift, he had the power to change the weight of any living being to what he wanted. He decided to use it to make his friend there a bit easier to carry as he walked back over to Desmond. "Hello again. Seems someone had a little accident. Since you're hear I assume you're Gifted as well? Would your Gift involve healing of any kind?"

I do too. The last stand of 2D sprites in the Pokemon series! It is so moving! *gives in to nostalgia and cries*

I dunno, I kinda like the pokemon in 3D better, however....I think the traniers lost a bit of their charm being just like clip art in the game now. While the major character that have battle models are a bit less affected, the others suffer a bit for me.

  4. This is a load of bull. thought Travis to himself. Well you know what they say, the perfect answer to violence is more violence. Instead of, y'know, actually working out problems. Travis observed the crowd of now Rebels, all getting their drawers in a tangled bunch. He knew all too well about the injustices that were being committed on the Gifted, but frankly he didn't quite care. This violent nonsense would do a lot more harm than good, and he knew it. There were gonna be casualties on BOTH sides, and lots of them. He noticed the young man in the crowd try to reason with the woman in front, only to be shot down by the others around him. He would have to keep an eye on him, just in case things got messy. Wouldn't want friendly fire to happen on the first day, now would he? ((Sorry for not posting in a while, I'll start posting on here more often now))

I've got some pretty good ideas already, some things that no other fangame that I know of has done. The main thing holding me back is my ADHD, I get bored really easily. But I guess this would be a good test to see if I could break that, huh?

I've only done a bit of hacking, but TopicJan said it perfectly. You need practice before you can get really good at something. Probably the first place to start is the story. Make sure you build a frame with all the vital points to include. You can slowly flesh out the points inbetween when you get to each one.

Yep, I guess. Try your best to focus on learning the basics of rpgmaker and ask and research all you can. I even could say that constance over time is more important than focusing on a single day or moment. You can just work an hour a day before getting bored or putting your mind to other thing, but if the work is intense for that hour at least then is worth it.

  9. (Well crap, misread Golbat as Crobat >.>) Gloom
  10. "Yep, that's me. And yeah, you're right, they're definitely not gonna make it easy for us to get there, let alone do our job when we enter the Conclave and Gym." Seth, titled his head down, deep in thought as he grabbed a red winter jacket and black hiking boots for the long journey ahead. He thought about changing pants, and slipped some ski pants over his sweats, just to be safe. He swapped his regular denim jacket for the winter one and his sneakers with the hiking boots "They're most likely gettin' ready for use as we stand here." Once he had changed his attire, he looked back at Jory and said, "And it's true, I haven't been in a battle with Dawn's forces yet, but I have seen what they can do. I was..." Seth made a big sigh before he continued. "I was their prisoner for about six months. Things weren't as bad in Unova for a while, but the Cult slowly started to... infest the region after a decade or so. My parents tried to stand up, along with many other famous and powerful trainers. But, they were swatted aside by that damn Arceus..." He started getting misty-eyed as he recalled what had happened next. "Some of them were killed right then and there, but Dawn decided a quick end was too good for my folks. They were captured and sent to one of her re-education camps. But before they were taken away, my parents begged for me to run. I tried, but me and Giga were caught and forced into servitude in a local conclave. I've seen people who don't take them seriously get completely destroyed. So I know they can't be taken lightly." Seth clenched his fist as he continued. "Don't worry about me, I'm gonna make sure I do my damnedest to see that we take Snowpoint back and see as much of this team out alive as I can. And if some of the Acolytes have to die to accomplish that, then so be it. You can count on me." A certain look of understanding and determination was present on his face as he said this, he meant every word of what he said.
  11. I'm so tough that I don't even have to finish this sen
  12. I feel like the same thing is happening with Seth. This is the first time he's been with people who share his ideas in a LONG time, and on top of that they're actually going to do something about it as well. So you could say that's why he feels more at ease and casual with the group, even though he just met them.
  13. Out of the people you put in the poll, I'd say Malzahar. He's incredible strong and insanely annoying if the person playing him knows what they're doing. Personally I've never tried him top, but he might be able to work up there.
