  1. We're our own worst enemy sometimes. There's no better destructive force than the around humility we can unjustly lay upon our own shoulders. It's okay Pyrr - we as a staff support you and only act because we -want- people to be able to stay here. Hopefully you can let yourself know you're welcome to as well.
  2. Sec was talking about giving feedback to the person who made the report, Jericho. It's possible, but it's also possible for some offenses to see on your own - such as threads that need to be moved and what-not. For other things though, it may be possible to get back to you - although probably not really needed. Edit: Ninja'd
  3. I'm not a very big advocate of dating young, as my experience with it mirrors the stigma that younger people just don't know what they really want and often, it seems like a waste of time. That said, if you're really certain this "Jenny" is someone you want to pursue, you always have to respect the other persons wishes - and the best way to do that while not being putting yourself at risk of being "friend-zoned" would be to step back and make yourself sparse during the time she's with another person. I'm not going to say that swooping in after the other guy potentially drops the ball is the best following step either. The reasoning behind stepping back outside of respecting Jenny here is to grow up a little yourself. There are better things to focus on, and when you get a little older, women will notice that. Perhaps, this Jenny will be that woman. Who knows?
  4. Bracket is out. Couldn't be bothered to make a bracket this year, but I will say my peace about NCAA basketball here. The Big 12 is the most competitive conference, getting most of their teams in the tourney. My favorite mid-major school in the tourney, and one that has the potential to be a Sweet 16 team, is (12) Stephen F. Austin (Nacogdoches, TX) - the 'Jacks rank in the top ten in assists, and have a winnable game against (5) Utah to open up. -My- schools of preference are Oklahoma, Iowa State, Duke, and aforementioned SFA. Kentucky has -NO- business not winning it all after the season they had. What do ya'll think? ----------
  5. Fighting Ground Grass Electric Water Flying During most story playthroughs water and flying are non negotiables (as I don't usually like slaving a normal type for HMs like that. If I can help it, I try to run two fighting types. I like Psychic, Dark, and Ghost types, but I don't find them very useful. My Rock types are usually dual Ground, and loathe fairies. Dragon types usually are dual flying (Salamence, Dragonite) Poisons are pretty interesting - but I don't usually see them (unless my grass is like Victreebel or something.) on my roster. If it's not Magnezone, steels generally don't make it on my team. (the only exception-exception is Gardevoir. If that thing is available early, it's on my roster.)
  6. YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES....YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS RBRN Hilda (Old School)
  7. I keep hearing that good crap about how Virizion is bad. Virizion is a Pokemon that has the opportunity to be mixed or have a SpAttk or Attk set, something that your opponent won't know until they allow Virizion to use a set-up move. It gets Calm Mind, which not only boosts it's SpAttk, -but- it's SpDef, which makes it able to take hits better as well. Synthesis allows it to heal up lots of health, being a solid recovery move that pairs well with Calm Mind, especially when the Physical attackers are out of the way. Giga Drain can really hurt the opponent, AND heal Virizion. Focus Blast is it's go-to fighting STAB, a powerful attack in it's own right that comes with perhaps the special sets only drawback, the accuracy chance, making Special Virizion the more popular of the sets. Physical Virizion gets access to Swords Dance, which sharply boosts it's Attack stat, along with Leaf Blade and Sacred Sword/Close Combat for stabs, all of which are great attacks. it also gets access to Zen Headbutt, which threatens incoming Poisons and opposing Fighting types. Substitute is the only reliable form of staying power for this set though, as it allows Virizion to get nice and powerful and then usually outspeed the opponent for an easy KO. Synthesis is a waste on this set due to defenses not being up to par and being unable to due to lack of defense boosting moves.
  8. It's actually -not- me. c: ....also, WHY RagesSorrow....because you all are closet pedophiles are don't want to be dead? C:
  9. You know....I'm 24....It's not illegal to pick me.....you just might....die......
  10. Waifu: Um.....this -should- be fairly obvious.... Husbando: There's not a lot of strong -and- well developed male roles in this game in hindsight...so the next best thing would be Cal. Bed: Obvious Wed: Still Obvious Dead: Victoria - hands down.
  11. - Princess. Peach. (Shadow Queen) - Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. For being such a light hearted game, PM:TYD is -perhaps- in some since, the first game to breach the possibility of Princess Toadstool being the -real- villain of the Mario franchise... (If you want to delve into the question a bit more, a somewhat tangential "Game Theory" about why the 'Toads' could be something to fear and further Peach's reasonable doubt is out on YouTube - courtesy of the Game Theorists channel.) However, Thousand Year Door does a fanTASTIC job of concluding an otherwise kid-friendly and colorful title in totality and in a terrifying manner - while still making sense story-wise! The princess isn't -willingly- opposing Mario and his party members - but as a kid her being possessed by the cataclysmic shadow queen was a real shock. The battle takes two forms a la Square Enix title main bosses, reminding me of ANOTHER villian down the list, and as a kid, this was the exclamation point on a very unassuming game - helping to make Thousand Year Door one of my all time favorites. Sephiroth - Final Fantasy VII Cmon....how is this guy not mentioned prior to me? The boss I alluded to above just happens to be this guy. GLaDOS - Portal Unlike Reborn's AI, this snarky and sarcastic foe will always be remembered for truly being a force to be reckoned with.....as well as the aforementioned snark and sarcasm. Beautiful work Valve. Majora - Majora's Mask The Skull Kid often gets misunderstood, and in -my- opinion, it's to the point where he's really -not- Link's adversary in this title. The Mask that Skull Kid wears however is possessed by the evil spirit of Majora - and it's the Mask that causes Skull Kid to call upon the moon. 'Majora's Mask' is one of those games I actually took the time to complete, which grants one with the 'Fierce Diety' Mask....and while the Fierce Deity's Mask makes Majora much easier to handle, it's the dialogue the child wearing Majora's Mask gives you that's chilling. As a theist, this registered quite wonderfully and has preserved the game in my heart.
  12. The nerdiest thing I've ever done is breed for IVS/EV train a rain team in BW2 just to compete on in a campus Pokemon tourny It sounds reasonable in this community, but I was the only person who bred and EV'd for the event. --- Outside of Pokemon the nerdiest thing I've ever done is write a 35 page essay on the progression of Theism.
  13. Yeah. I don't move. I hope you found another way around.
  14. Ah... Gotta look around more, chief. By the time you get to Luna you should have some options for sure. What ever works though!
  15. This one was really tough, and I couldn't give multiple answers and just be the Avatar this site needs.... Also, the count needed a vote for non-bending...Why? I DON'T NEED NO PROPS. The personality test gave me Airbender (Because I'm a rare breed.)
  16. it's good to know SOMEONE uses Hariyama this late in the game when I'm trying to convince people it's a good Pokemon. Granbull is generally an interesting Pokemon because Clefable and Azumarill are viable options for a team's Fairy type fairly early - which is why the intrigue is there from some.
  17. oh...good ole Objectum Sexual.... I could go for some bacon right now.
  18. Chase

    "The Axe"

No... GameFreak gave it the axe when they made it evolve from Trapinch, gave it a x4 Ice weakness, and didn't give it a Mega. I submit Pancham to replace Makuhita in the slums.
  19. Man...you fools and thinking the ANIME is "canon".... - Slurpuff.....without killing it...you know why? This thing needs to be eaten into extinction.
