  1. Noble huh? I'll take it? I think in my case something like "Picture-esque" is more appropriate (seeing as my shameless WDYLL posts garner a significant portion of my rep....)
  2. I'm glad Kim Davis was released from prison. I also think the woman shouldn't hold the same type of job as she isn't issuing Religious marriages - but state ones backed by the law of the land.

      Hiss13

If she wanted to protest on her own private time, she could. But her job was to issue marriage licenses in accordance with the law. If the change in the law was something she objected to to the point where it would not allow her to function, she should have resigned. Instead, she continued to go to work but refused to do her actual job. That is what it boils down to.

    2. BIGJRA

      BIGJRA

Just a note, the arrest was due to contempt of court, and is protocol... there really wasn't any systematic religious bashing but rather a follow through of the rules to the job which she swore onto.

She's also a citizen though, is she not? To say when in office she is not to have any rights a citizen would is ridiculous. I -did- say she should not be returned to the position, but she had not business being behind bars. NOW Justice is served.

  4. I may have been forgotten - but it's okay. These are still really cool to look at.
  5. I've started calling you Milk'NCookies after reading this......you had to like....MELT yourself with dat fiya yo....
  6. Kanto: Favorite: Lorelei. - For many, Lorelei was the tone setter for the Elite Four experiences to come. We were used to gym trainers and experience gets and running to the safety of the Pokemon Center whenever we needed heals and whatnot - but when you enter a chamber with just the confident Lorelei and....well, nothing else. You know you were in for the gauntlet. Lorelei thus is the most memorable Kanto representative in a positive manner. Least Favorite: Lance. - His story of ascent is cute in all - but I actually liked Bruno more than I did Lance. The major issue with Lance though is th
  7. My favorite Mega-Evolution has quickly become Mega Camerupt. Camerupt's ability Sheer Force allows it to become a fearsome wallbreaker with decent enough bulk to take a hit and dish out a KO. Other good ones are the Charizard variants, Gardevoir, Gallade, Lucario, Glalie, and Banette.
  8. Hi! I just wanted to stop by, appreciate your work because it's fantastic, and request a signature using this picture of Yuuki Asuna from Sword Art Online I'm not the artist here - so you do you. Odds are I'm going to to like it.
  9. Chesnaught used Seed Bomb! It's not very effective... The opposing Latios lost 100% of its health! The opposing Latios fainted!

      > Belly Drum, Substitute, Drain Punch, Seed Bomb.

SALAC BERRY and likely not a fully speed invested Latios.

If you can all believe it. I outsped.

Maybe it was a more SpA oriented latios, and the guy gave it more defense investment rather than speed.

A belly drum chesnaught wasn't factored, probably.

  10. If the heart doesn't change, it will function as the mind should, and the mind vise-versa. Society wants us to think on our selves, and on impulse, rather than objectively and selflessly.

    1. Chase

      Chase

This -is- a problem, particularly in political arenas and societal building - because it causes inconsistency, and it causes selfish viewpoints to affect actions tha that impact others.

But is there such a thing as infallible moral values?

    3. Chase

      Chase

Yes. There are two issues "free-thinkers" have with them though - the standard which they are attached to, and having to conform society to them rather than it being relative or open.

  11. ...oh boy, the heresy suggestions.
  12. "...but LOOK AT THOSE HANDS...of COURSE you're going to give it something to hold....how 'bout a Life Orb? how about a CHOICE BAND? HOW ABOUT A F*CKING CHAINSAW???" -Dookieshed, from his YouTube video entitled "Mega Rayquaza Will F*ck You Up" Hello, Ladies, Gents, and dignified others. Today, we're going to take a look at often disregarded game-changers of the Pokemon universe. It's common knowledge that -most- pokemon are not up to their full potential unless holding an item that aids them in battle. Sometimes, these items are consumed. Sometimes these items will wreak havoc until k
  13. If we're looking at straight BST, yeah, Sunkern's nothing to write home about - but what it lacks in stats it has in.....well...-somewhat- has in potential. Sunflora makes the 'Kern slightly better than Unown in that the ceiling is higher for the little guy, it gets access to a full moveset, and often disregarded is that Sunkern itself has the ability to make some noise in Little Cup given the right conditions. Choice Specs Sunkern in the sun is actually somewhat effective. Unown is relagated to seeing NO viability in competitive play at all.
  14. As much as I would list a few other 'mons ahead of this thing just because I don't like 'em - we have to look at this objectively.
  15. Honorable mentions Bisharp - Bisharp missed the list because it's a rather crutch 'mon for me in the tier and doesn't pan out for me as often as Talonflame does, albeit is more fun to use. Defiant is one of my favorite abilities out there and with one of my favorite methods of KOing 'mons out there (trapping) in it's toolbelt, Bisharp is a pretty great 'mon. It also complements Mega Gallade and Mega Gardevoir very well. Conkeldurr - Conkeldurr makes opponents think twice about going for status conditions not named Sleep or Freeze, which is very handy in a game where Will-O-Wisp is prevalent.
  16. Back in 2007, Hilda Weiss was a somewhat different person. At 17, she was only beginning to come to terms with her restored faith - and carried a lot of worldly baggage - including the unhealthy habit of drinking too much. During this year, the rock band 'Hinder' released a song entitled 'Get Stoned' - which long story short - is about a relationship that hinges greatly on sexual pleasure being most effective in times of conflict, indicative by the chorus line "we could end up making love instead of misery" as well as "'cuz the sex is so much better when you're mad at me" in the following stan
  17. So, this list could effectively go to two places - here or the OTS - and I wasn't sure where to put it. Sorry mod frens- HI FOLKS. Everyone who has dabbled in competitive knows about Smogon's OverUsed tier. It's a tier that some may have a particular strength in, meaning they are better than SEVERAL other trainers out there, and it's a tier where many of the "best" pokemon reside. Personally, It's my least favorite tier for various reasons, but as a Pokemon trainer there are definitely things I have to respect about it. That is...my favorite Pokemon to use within the tier. If your list is
  18. By Gen - Squirtle - I like Blastoise more than I like Venusaur, but it's usefulness in-game is not nearly as high as it could be competitively without help - and the other two 'mons being in OU while this guy is left behind in UU speaks for itself. It gets outbulked by one, and outsped by the other. The cool thing about Blastoise is it's a got a bit of both, but when you're a jack of all trades, you tend to splay your stats to where you're not fantastic in anything. - Chikorita - Like I said. Difficult 'mon to use in it's maiden voyage generation, is extremely passive, and doesn't have anyth
  19. Hi folks. You guys ever play through a story with a team, and realize a pattern when finding the right 'mons to take through the Pokemon League gauntlet? I recognize a couple of trends. Mostly regarding type coverage. In a story mode, an experienced trainer tends to go for an offensive bunch that can cover as many weaknesses as possible. Now, we all have our favorite types - but what about the types that bail us out more often than not, without winning us over? Would the help please stand up and be recognized. --- THE DARK TYPE Dark is a type that is found on every single team of mine wi

They're basically animals and stuff in human form.

  21. Blastoise gets a large boost from Mega Evolution, but let me dissect the major improvements - Mega Launcher complements it's bulk with a plethora of offensive capability. - Rapid Spin gives Blastoise a niche. - Mega Evolution boosts it's Base Stat Total by 100. This makes Blastoise a bulky offensive rapid spinner. Pretty rare and neat.
  22. Hi folks. Today's bemusements came when beginning to watch an LP on Youtube. I'm going to list the top 5 worst starter Pokemon - or the ones that get left behind at the lab. Don't agree with me? Fantastic, post your own opinions below! --- 5. The Emboar evolution line. (FIRE) Blaziken was cool. Infernape was forgivable. Emboar just made the firefighter starters severely tired. It doesn't stop with release perception for ole' Bacon here though. At RarelyUsed, Emboar is also the least viable of the three. It's not particularly fast either. Reckless is a fantastic ability and Emboar is bles
