    i just headed off to the Pokemart to see whether my suspicion about the Revives being in the store is right or not. i'd suggest you guys follow me.

    oh dear... and that was an accidental Critical hit... Kenny might not've known the Intruder, but the Trainer's Umbreon looked concerned enough to make him feel guilty enough to share the fact that he'd seen a Pokemart further up the valley, and he had the sneaking suspicion that it contained a Revive or two. he did this by gesturing for the others to follow him, and then heading down the path in the direction of the Pokemart.

    oh. i forgot about the Fire resisting Fairy bit. [EDIT]: i just altered my posts to be more accurate to Type Advantages/Disadvantages.

    JEEZ, that Houndoom was a Tank! it took Three super-effective Hydro Pumps and a Dazzling Gleam to Faint it! (Don't worry, I've seen a Pokemart in the valley, but i'm not sure what it contains. there might be a Revive in it.)

    Like that'll ever happen... Kenny rolled his eyes at the prospect of being taken away by a complete stranger for Who-knows-what reason. As Zephyr made the statement about not leaving without Kenny, he decided to go with whichever Trainer was the stronger of the two. he then spoke to the Gardevoir: "Could you tell the trainers that they'll have to settle this between themselves in a battle? at least get the reason why the intruder wants me!" as he finished speaking, he saw the Togepi start to shine brighter and brighter... "oh sh-! never mind, it seems as though the battle's already started!" he raised his Scalchop to shield his eyes from the glare just in time as the Togepi used Dazzling Gleam, dealing Super Effective Damage to the Umbreon, while only dealing normal damage to the Houndoom. "Okay, two on two! NOW we're getting somewhere!" he then unleashed a Hydro Pump at the Houndoom, dealing Super-Effective damage, and Fainting it.

    how about this, @Ethic: i manage to catch a Pikachu, but decide to give it to Lt. Surge as a gift after he saves my life in battle. or, perhaps i manage to catch a male and a female, and give one to Lt. Surge so that Erick, Oak, Surge, and I can demonstrate to the cadets that you can also do Double Battles, instead of just single person vs single person?

    i've always liked Lucario. it's design is awesome, it's pokedex entry is great, and it's signature move is beast, to boot. (plus, the fact that Riolu is cute doesn't help any...) My favorite starter used to definitely be Oshawott, but now that Gen VI has come out, it's tied with Fennekin. Oshawott's just, well, very reflective of myself. Fennekin is cute, to boot, and that's how they tied. i don't really have a favorite Legendary, but if i had to choose one it'd be one of the Gen V Tao Trio. My favorite Eeveelution is definitely Umbreon, although Vaporeon is pretty close behind in Second, and Eevee coming in a close third.

    i have an idea for the Pokemon that will be Caught first: a Pikachu. sound good?

    How about this one: Immunity: prevents all damage from non-OHKO Damaging moves of the first type the pokemon is hit with in battle, and only the type of that move. only effective while this pokemon is Active.

    i, too, love the PMD series. and i've only played the first part of Explorers of Darkness!

    Tempest is right. It makes things one Hekuva lot easier for everyone if the game gets translated all at once.

    most of the Gym Leaders and Other Trainers in the Pokemon games suffer from that syndrome, right?

    that matchup would go KABOOM, and then there'd be no more anything.

    plus, there's the issue of the download links... each game would have to have it's own download links if no one put in a "language select" screen in the options menu! and also, there might be some untranslatable puns in there!

    good to know, @ Ethic. also, since i joined in late, i'll definitely be a bit lower in level than everyone else. i'm fine with that. since i'll be the lowest in level, is it okay if, when the tech comes out, i be the one who helps Oak with his demonstration? (I'll allow you to Bunny my character for that bit.) (on an unrelated sidenote, this post is the 200th post.)
