  1. ...It can't learn Sludge W-? ...Oh wait. Sludge Wave. That move is ridiculously distributed- almost no Poison-types can learn it. Unfortunately, Sludge Bomb isn't in the game. There's a way to get it onto Venusaur, but it requires an obscenely long breeding chain so you're really better off without it. Edit: Ninja'd! But my point still stands. Fuck Sludge Wave.
  2. Orange soda or raspberry tea. (Or water, if neither of those, will work too.) I don't really need to eat while gaming, but if I'm really hungry some crackers or chips or a sandwich will suffice. Simple stuff is for the best.
  3. It should indeed... ...It isn't because you need to go to another cave in the Wasteland Wall and push a Strength boulder down a hole first, however.
  4. That one person... female Hitmonchan what. You can't breed both of them onto Conkeldurr- the only Pokemon that get Mach Punch and Drain Punch (the latter via breeding) are Ledyba, Ledian and Breloom. None of which are in the Human-shape egg group. Not that it matters because that thing looks like it's going to wreck peoples' shit anyway. (I've never used Conkeldurr so I wouldn't know, lol. But I can make an educated guess.) P.S. Drain Punching Shroomish is the best thing I've ever heard, omfg. I want one.
  5. *violently crashes into the thread to revive it once more* Vaporeon's Scald. Searing faces off with boiling hot water is one of his favourite pastimes, you see... I think he needs therapy. By the way whaddafuck is a Groundon
  6. Oh, hey. Lookie there. Back again~

  7. Forty-eight hard boiled eggs. The entire house smells like eggs. I will be smelling eggs in my sleep tonight, I think.

    1. Sheep

      Sheep

I found this far more amusing than perhaps I should have.

    2. Vinny

      Vinny

      That's...

      Eggcellent

    3. Sutoratosu

      Sutoratosu

why did you hard boil 4 dozen eggs?

  8. Aaaaaaa the obtainable list updates Mienfoo, Hawlucha and Cacnea it's like Christmas has come early ...And Gulpin. Oh please tell me you didn't. Also I'm excited about finally (maybe) getting to see part of the desert. I've been curious about that since I first heard about it from the history dudes. Corrosive Mist field KOing everything when any of those Fire moves are used? Overpowered, I think, but kinda awesome. Not the thing you'd actually want to take advantage of unless it's as a last-ditch effort, since your Pokemon will go down too.
  9. Much Arcanine Very Flare Blitz Wow I will never be sorry
  10. Lost Lore

    Trick Room

...No, you have that switched, he originally gave Calm Mind and now he gives Trick Room. However, there is a bug where Radomus, if you said you weren't ready when he asked/if you lost to him the first time, still gives you Calm Mind instead of Trick Room. (You can also go back to Episode 10 for it if you ended up getting Calm Mind from him instead, but of course, I wouldn't support doing such a thing... Nope.) And yes, Trick Room definitely works.
  11. It either works or my Greninja is very talented to be able to type jump like that. I'm more inclined to believe that it's the former. I don't think Bulletproof works either, so as of right now, Protean is the only one of the Kalos starters' hidden abilities that works.
  12. You need the Yureyu Key. There's a path in Tanzan Mountain that requires Rock Smash + traversing some tricky ledges to pass. And a similarly tricky Strength puzzle after that. But once you've gotten through all of that, said Key is yours. (You can also find a Solosis there, if you look very carefully...)
  13. There are a few slight storyline changes, the most noteworthy of which being different dialogue in the whole Tanzan Cove deal depending on which path you chose (since there's four different scenarios for that). Although that whole deal is pretty much the same, save for one path that alters it a bit more drastically. Otherwise there are a few dialogue changes in obvious (and perhaps, some not-so-obvious) places, but nothing too major. You could indeed. Sigmund asks you if you intend to reclaim Heather- if you answer no, then you'll carry on upstairs and fight Sirius alongside Cain instead. Incidentally, this means that you fight Sigmund in Tanzan Cove instead.
  14. We don't need to tell you to leave your sanity at the door? Cool. So welcome to the insanity that is Reborn. Once you've gotten here, you're not likely to leave, but that's 'kay, you'll learn to like it here. I'd tell you to hang onto your hat(s), but it seems you're familiar enough with the game at least to know you should have them glued down.
  15. Mienshao's Hi(gh) Jump Kick. Hey look, that was one of the move names fixed in Gen VI... I didn't know that. My lack of a 3DS shows OTL
  16. That typo made me laugh harder than I should have Cleffa. Even if Jigglypuff weren't available later on, Clefable is better. Just keep it away from the chess board field if it has Unaware- that's a death sentence, as I've now learned.
  17. Nonononono don't set fire to Route 1, I love Route 1... ;A; If it were possible I would do it just to make Fern cry, though They already two or three-shot everything you have at that point with it, don't give her crazy ideas like that!
  18. I'm guessing you just mean the first time over? Because I've made different choices in subsequent files... Anyway: -Didn't find all of the police officers before battling Taka/ZEL... in my defense I had no idea where the last one was. (I did indeed go back and find him later, though.) -Lost to the Garchomp, although now I'm wishing I'd worked out a strategy to defeat it back then, now that I know it's possible... -Fought Sigmund in the Yureyu Building, and Sirius in Tanzan Cove. -Chose to stay downstairs, rather than following Sigmund upstairs after that. (Incidentally, this leads to Anna and Noel being kidnapped.) -Hahahahaha is this a trick question? No? I like Radomus' character too much not to side with him, difficulty or no. Ditto-ceus can't handle Gengar's Destiny Bond, anyhow. I was more lax about what I did in my main file, since that was the first time I'd been thrown into these situations and wasn't sure what effect my choices would have later on. Still going to be more lax about it for any future situations like these, I think.
  19. Nah, it's not jarring. It made me laugh, actually. Even moreso that the Ariados was really out of place as it was the only normal one, among level 98 Goomy and Ho-oh of all things. (Although Ho-oh does fit the theme better than anything else would.) @People looking for Goomy on Azurine Island: THERE IS NO MEW UNDER THE TRUCK YOU'VE BEEN LIED TO. ...Aaaaaw, now I want this to happen. Lin still scares me but this would be pretty cute.
  20. Julia needs to stop using Electric attacks on my Lightningrod Electrike. That's three times now, wtf.

    1. Lost Lore

      Lost Lore

I'm going to breed Flamethrower onto an Electrike later for exactly that reason. But yes, Charge Beam will have to do for now.

  21. Have a Chesnaught. Fighting-types are quite handy here, and Chesnaught gets so little love. Poor thing.
  22. I just... The field effects I really like (especially dat Burning field), but you're getting a bit silly with these Pokemon you're spawning to showcase them... there are no random level 98 Goomy running around Reborn. (...Are there? Because that'd actually be legit terrifying.) Also 140 damage Sonicbooms are something straight out of my nightmares. It took me a minute to catch the reference though I am ashamed...
  23. *brings Foresight and Odor Sleuth to the party* Your move, Vinny. All jokes aside, I actually would like to see Inverse Battles. They take some getting used to, but they could make a battle more challenging, as you have to work around a type chart you're unfamiliar with, and thus, have to get used to that.
  24. No one should leave me in charge of the weather. I'd make it rainy 24/7 because of how much I love the rain. My poor Fire-types, though... Anyway, though, this is actually a really interesting idea. While it's true you can just as easily change the date to get different weather, that is pretty time consuming (since you also have to get the weather forecast to come up on the TV to do that... and for some reason, I rarely, if ever, can seem to do that) so another method would be swell.
  25. Allow me to formally (not really) welcome you to the insanity that is Reborn. You may find it hard to leave now that you've gotten sucked in, but you needn't worry, that's perfectly normal. Hang onto your hat (or hats, as the case may be- but I would guess the dancing pineapple you have for an avatar would be happy to lend you its hat) because you're in for quite a wild ride.
