  1. The Candle stayed in the Breeder's arms contentedly, humming an eerie, soft melody just like a Persian purring. "I think her name was Kylie. Don't think I've really heard of her before," Raiza shrugged, "so I did some researching. They seem okay, I guess; whatever happens, we're game, pon." She turned to the screen, thinking on how she noticed that her friend seemed to be interested in Mareek. Well, not really in a crush-y way; who was she to say that? "How're you feeling about battling Mareek, pon? You two seem to get along nice and easy. Honestly, I'd be worried if I were against the guy... He and.. What was his name again, Jacob? They're both the top dogs of the game so far, after all."
  2. I'm thinking of getting an Absol... or not. Now I really don't know. It's either Sharpedo or Absol for the Mega spot.
  3. Zephyr = 女王 ゼファイル (ze-fa-i-ru) Zeph = ゼフ (ze-fu) Zephy = ゼフヒー (ze-fu-hii) apparently there's a Japanese word for "zephyr", which would be 微風 (so-yo-ka-ze)
  4. The Espurr stared at the Chimchar for a good five seconds, unblinking. This might be a big problem. "Uh... Physical moves usually tend to not have an effect on Ghost types... but maybe something like Flamethrower would help...?" she tried to suggest, recovering from her shock - a bit too late when the Froslass struck her with Ice Beam. It was all thanks to her hearing sense that she heard it coming and moved out of the way quickly enough to not get one-shotted, but that still hurt. "Stupid snow ghost...!" murmured Pulse, firing another Psybeam at the Ghost-Ice type.
  5. "Wick, wick!" The Ghost-Fire type obliged and hovered low enough for Lana to hold. Second to Raiza, she was another soul he wouldn't dream of devouring, as she was one of his Trainer's only companions and he was fond of her as well. "Hiya, Lana, pon," chimed Raiza, having arrived at the scene a second after Lucifer signaled. It was only then that she noticed the absence of Mareek - which was kind of a relief for the girl, though the memory of the incident at the guy's stall didn't sting her as much as it did last night. "Oh, you're not with your pal?"

Brb trying that. Anyway, you should be able to get through the League without much problems. Just bring Sunny Day + Solarbeam for Glacia's Sealeo and Walrein.

Torkoal is tank I swear I didn't need to assemble a Camerupt Army for Flannery after all, and I didn't need help from Combusken for Norman, either.

      wallace was a dick tho

      and for some reason, no Fire-type mon available in Sapphire can learn Solarbeam ;_;

  8. gotta love the Pocky Game Alice, you pretty ouo
  9. Unsure if she was allowed to leave the room at all and not too bothered to ask, Raiza decided to seek out the Ground type Breeder. "Sweetie, would you kindly show me where she is, pon?" "Wick," obliged the Ghost-Fire type happily, zooming off just slowly enough for his Trainer to run after him. Locating the girl easily, he hovered over her head and let his flame flicker like a beacon for Raiza to see.
  10. Actually, hold the phone. Where's Lana (Raiza would very much want to talk to Henry, but I feel like she might not be giving her childhood friend enough attention lol)?
  11. I'm surprised Arkhi didn't change my avy to an AtokNiiro one... Then again, I was planning to play along for the hell of it. Anyway, it's violin time for my profile till the 27th c:

  12. When the match was finished, Raiza leapt up. Where did the battlers stay after their battles, again? Or would she not be able to congratulate him till after her own battle? Sitting back down, she sighed; sooner or later, her parents would arrive and see how she'd lied to them. Why'd they have to force her to be a Breeder, anyway? It wasn't really like she wanted to take over the Breeding Facility - no offense to her friend, Lana, but it seemed kinda boring to her. On the other hand, ever since her previous loss, she'd only been pushing her doubts to the back of her head. Maybe she wasn't cut out to be a Trainer either. Maybe. They'd see in the upcoming battle. Maybe she should've just signed up for the Coordinator course, remembering Henry's words. Groaning quietly, she held her head. Deciding what course she should've taken was a pain; she had no idea what she wanted to be. Or rather, she did, but it probably wasn't something she could do. Then warmth enveloped her cheek. "Wick, wick?" It was Lucifer to the rescue - she'd forgotten that if there was anybody who could sense her distress easily, it was her own little baby. Evidently he'd caught more than just a whiff of Raiza's troubled feelings and acted immediately... That was, to hug her face. Gently, the Trainer took the Litwick in her arms and cuddled him with a warm smile. The cute Candle Pokemon just always knew how to lift her spirits. There was that battle, and that opponent she tried to read up on, but nah, she'd worry about that later. Right now, she was enjoying some heart-to-heart with the best friend anybody could ever wish for.
  13. Lucifer'd just devour the soul regardless of whether or not Shade was nearby lol. That is, unless Raiza were nearby. He prefers to behave when momma's nearby. after all, an elegant soul-sucking chandelier of doom needs to keep his poise and class If it's okay, I might request you to bunny my opponent, Commander, as I'm not really good at battling myself.
  14. goshdarnit me get writing your paper already wtf

  15. By excited, I mean that I'm dreading it a bit. Just the way Ashnard overpowered Marcus... O_O But hey, we've got some revenge-taking, world-saving, and Shard-getting to do, so, let's go! *fistpumps*
  16. Hey, I like Poison types too :c It just so happened that a... what do you call em, a... puddle? A family of Grimer and Muk merged with a bunch of corpses in a story I wrote previously. Zephyr's actually a character I wrote about some time ago (though I stopped writing her story cause writer's block) and had to face off against a Corpse-Shoggoth (that Muk-corpse monster I just described) in one of the chapters.
  17. Oblivious to the nasty looks that Lucifer was giving and receiving, Raiza's eyes were glued to the screen again as she took her seat. However, she was fully aware of the insults being thrown at Henry; unbeknownst to her, her face was beginning to twist into a scowl. "No, no, I've got to keep my head. If Henry's not paying any heed to 'em, then I shouldn't either," she said to herself quietly. Even still, her fists were clenched tightly on the bench. When Henry began going on the offense, however, the Trainer forgot to be irritated and looked on in admiration. "It's amazing how he just tunes all that out, innit, pon? I mean, just look at it, Lucifer. He's totally not fazed at all." Beside her, the Ghost-Fire type watched as well, choosing to pay no further heed to the pure Ghost-type plebeian. Seeing the Coordinators calm demeanor, underlined with a sort of ruthlessness, inspired the Litwick. He began to throw jabs in the air as his flame sparked and grew brighter in excitement.
  18. Normal types in general have the most diverse moveset, iirc. naturally, I find the lack of Dark/Electric, Dark/Normal types disturbing Also, for Lucifer and Shade: Achievement Get: Rivalry!
  19. I think we're all really just waiting for the landsharks to make a move next lol (also Kuna hasn't actually responded too). You could try to grab one of Zephyr's guns if you'd like, if you think it's worth the risk (actually right now, I feel like my having guns and a chainsaw is kinda useless ;_; Zephyr only carries the stuff around for other humans and this Grimer-Muk-rotting body monster thing I made up in her story...)
  20. Some younger kids are pretty cool, though I don't like most kids in general if they don't have any manners or know their limits.
  21. "No, not really," the Psychic cat said, surprised. "Wh-- Froslass up ahead, duck!" Leaping up, she hurled a telekinetic wave at the Ghost-Ice type.
  22. "I'm going with Danielle on this one, pon. But that girl's pretty much a landmine for this battle. You never know what she could do if her nerves explode." After a short pause wherein Raiza realized she'd interrupted a conversation she wasn't a part of, she continued, "Also, hi," before scuttling away, aware of how ironic what she said was just now in relation to herself. Hovering over her shoulder, the Ghost-Fire type stared at James with what looked like a bit of resentment, but that was all; he followed his Trainer suit, scheming should he ever face that Duskull in battle ever again.
