    I came to see the world ending and I am very disappoint. But the presence of a new member makes up for it c: especially one with a... is that a Mega Eevee? O.o ... anyway, welcome to Reborn!

    A real alien. Now they can't tell me I'm insane... but wait, I already am, aren't I? and what do you mean, stop talking to that lamppost? Welcome to Reborn. Just as Sheep said, we've got great taste with Pokemon very, very delicious as well as are willing to help you out with whatever you need. There's a thread for Pokemon and Item Hunters, where you can gather more data and intel for Helia so he can have an idea of where the Pokemon/thing he's looking for is. The rest of the welcome wagon are still on standby for the night, but expect more warm greetings for you and your friend once they wake up. Hope you both enjoy your stays, and remember: the cake is a lie!

    HOTCHIMNEYPOPCORN-- Pulse leapt back to dodge the stray fire and pebbles that flew. Even the Froslass herself seemed stunned, not only from the damage she got on impact. Well, that was reckless, but it helped whittle down this pesky ghost, the Espurr thought. Training would be an issue later. So would figuring out how much of what this Chimchar said was true. But if she were really originally human, well, that would explain her inexperience... "Keep at it! I think it's faltering now." Just don't hit me. The thought was almost audible as the psychic feline projected another telekinetic wave in an attempt to deflect the cold wind that began to pick up with the irritated Ghost-Ice type's rising temper...

    Raiza raised an eyebrow. Maybe this guy wasn't such a jerk after all if he planned on going all out against her softspoken friend, rather than playing the nice prince. "Hey, Lana, don't you go easy on him, all right?" she said, nudging the Breeder gently with her elbow. Although she said it with her usual poker face on, one could hear the grin in her voice. In all honesty, she was so amped up for her friend's match that she probably would've forgotten her own later on. Over her shoulder floated Lucifer, who watched the Scyther with much curiosity. What a rather spicy whiff he caught from her, imbued with much controlled tension and energy... She'd be one nasty contender, even if he had the advantage typewise.

Sadly, it isn't a magnificent hybrid of chaos like Zephy. But if you grafted a cat, a horse, some wings, rainbows, and kawaii together, you might have a glorious Catgasus that looks like Zephy.     "... Ehh... It seems like he wants us to follow, Lana," Raiza said, watching as Lucifer looked at her questioningly, hovering in the air. Leading the way, the Trainer began to make her way to the Cubone.

    Typhoons/Hurricanes are definitely a thing here, given how bad sewage is. Canals and such are clogged by trash, for one thing... Then, there's the road maintenance, who raise roads continuously, thinking it'll help... which, obviously, doesn't, because the water flows into the lower roads. In fact, you don't need a typhoon to raise hell here. Steady rainfall will do.

    The sentient candle looked over his shoulder and saw that the Cubone was pointing at Lana and Raiza. "Wick!" Lucifer obliged. It seemed that this Ground type might be that bright-haired boy's, after all. In a swift motion, he was behind the Pokemon, prodding him towards the two girls. "That's easy enough to say, but... You know my mum's voice, it's crazy loud... Though I suppose I won't hear it over the din of the crowd," she murmured. When Lana pointed out something behind her, the Trainer wheeled around. "Oh hey, is it? I know Mareek has a Cubone, but... Is he the only Cubone in this Academy?" Looking around, she saw no sign of the formidable Trainer. "C'mon, let's go get 'em. Maybe your pal's around here somewhere, pon."

    How to be a good government, Philippines edition 1. Be a famous actor/actress, preferably a wealthy one. Alternatively, have a stash of treasures from way back in the Spanish Colonial era. 2. The people hate the current heads? Now's your chance to rub in the salt, win the hearts of the masses, and be a hero opposing said administration! 3. Win the elections and be recognized for what a superstar you truly are. 4. ??? 5. Profit (PROTIP: Steal from the people, but suck up to them and pull off a Pontius Pilate (i.e. wash your hands (figuratively and/or literally) and declare you've done nothing wrong) when they begin to complain.) 6. Pass on the administration to an ally or, preferably, a family relative like your son/daughter. 7. ??? 8. Profit 9. Rinse, and repeat until you have achieved a Political Dynasty and the people are blind and all opposition rendered powerless.

    A little too distraught to notice the cry of a Cubone, Raiza didn't pay much heed. On the other hand, Lucifer noticed the Ground-type coming towards them and stared, curiously. Didn't that fellow Mareek own a Cubone? The Litwick thought for a while. Maybe if he took charge, Raiza would be prouder of him... That's it! With that, he floated over to the skull-capped Pokemon.

    "I'd actually looked her up, but forgot part of what I'd seen and decided not to rely on the data entirely." While she spoke, the wheels in her head turned. That giant pumpkin would definitely be an explosive hazard. The upside was that it would be slow and have terrible special stats. Regarding types, Rogue was clearly the best choice. But Gourgeist were pretty physically sound and if they were bad at using special moves, Sneasel were even worse. "To be honest it's not really the battle I'm worried about, but... Ma and Pa..." She frowned. "Lana, I've seen it in movies. They're totally going to come up some time during the battle and I'll screw up. Why? Because they wanted me to be a Breeder, but I snuck around and changed it so that I'd be put in the Trainer program. What's more is that I probably can't defend that later, given how I've been sucking at being a Trainer..."
