  1. Honestly I didn't take it particularly seriously at all. Firstly because I don't care about tier lists derived from anything other than usage statistics as they are subjective and opinionated. Secondly because the position of the move relearner and the nature of the challenges you have to deal with in XY are different to the situation in Reborn. This changes the context and therefore a tier list designed for XY has limited application here. I said as good not just good. You're right, plenty of pokemon have good dual stabs available by level up. The only one's I could think of with dual 120's though? Blaziken, Infernape, and Heracross. No. You did not just say that. The positioning of Heracross is of minor consideration when considering it's worth. Get that thing Megahorn, Close Combat and Moxie and it'll make a huge impact on every single gym after you get it. For me it swept Luna's entire team, it swept half of Samson's team and it made a huge hole in Radomus' team. It is literally vying with Escavalier for the position of the best obtainable late game pokemon period for me right now. Oh and guess what? There's a whole ton of content still to come. You know what Heracross will be busy doing in that content? That's right, the answer's wrecking face. Or if you're like me and don't use any in game healing items because they make the game too easy.
  2. I personally wouldn't say so. Just do what you enjoy mate, don't care so much about society. My two cents on it anyway. Mine too! Anyway, welcome to the forums. You won't need any sanity around here, it's essentially useless. If you're interested in roleplaying then make sure to check out that sub forum 'cause we've got some pretty cool people over there. If competitive battling is more up your alley then Pokenations might be your thing. It's a weekly competition hosted on the pokemon online reborn server where everyone is sorted into nations and each nation is pitted against another in an epic struggle with different rules each week. That brings me to the server, on pokemon online we have a server called pokemon reborn that is used as a sort of chat room. You'll find loads of people there that don't frequent the forums and get to know the ones that do a bit better, so it's always a good idea to take a look. I'm pretty sure that's everything. So again welcome.
  3. Hah, serves me right for not reading the rest of the topic/forgetting what I'd read a month or so ago. Though I don't think it's technically hidden, I'm pretty sure it's just obscured by the tree. Didn't check with the item finder though.
  4. Uh sorry, I'm having trouble understanding what your question is. Do you think you could rephrase it or something?
  5. Nah, usually it's just about being there. We never have any set times as far as I'm aware.
  6. Funnily enough, that's the order in which I found them difficult on my first playthrough of the game too. This was pre nerf Serra and I think I took her out first time with no changing the weather. Aya forced me to go and get a 5th and 6th member of my party just to beat her (I'd previously been running with four) and even then I only just scraped through the gym with a poisoned Typhlosion in the red as my only pokemon.
  7. Welcome to the forums. If you're interested in competitive battling there's this thing called Pokenations which is happening at the moment, not sure if you knew that. Check it out when you have time.
  8. This applies for me too. Anyway, welcome. Questions are always welcome and just about everyone here is helpful, Tempest and Vinny are the guys we generally tell people to ask though. Other than that, drop the sanity and enjoy your stay. Oh and check out pokemon online's reborn server sometime. It's where people 'round here go to chat.
  9. It was fixed in episode 11. I started playing in episode 10 and I remember the sucker punch glitch well.
  10. Just found a TM that I had absolutely no idea was even in the game. TM07 Hail. I wonder how many other people that tend to be helpers on this site have completely missed this one, 'cause the item finder won't help with it. Or maybe it's just me that never found it before now. XD Anyway, it's in the North Aventurine Woods, at a place where you need to remove a log or web (can't remember which one) to get to an area which seemingly holds nothing. Hail is hidden behind a tree there. Also, Cow you haven't updated this in like forever. Either that or you just spaced on the last post I made here.
  11. Ew. Don't worry Vinny, I'll save you. ***Sheep stands idly by, watching Vinny getting pushed in a ditch, then waits for the most dramatic moment possible to make an entrance in order to look like a hero*** Meanwhile is Dobby actually gonna save him?
  12. ***Sheep personally hunts down Absol and gets the scarf back by any means necessary. Following this he presents it to Rose in Zephyr's stead*** Jericho.
  13. Contrary to what Etesian has just said, I remember Starly being removed in episode 11 while Magikarp, Azurill, and Ralts were all changed in episode 12. I started playing in episode 10 and have a Staraptor on my first run through. Episode 9 will no doubt still work for the purposes of what you're looking for though.
  14. Yes! You win absolutely nothing! It's been a while since I showed my face here huh? Um, Mikzal.
  15. Uh welcome? I'm gonna leave it at that.
  16. Welcome to reborn. I hope you enjoy your stay, if you have any other questions then Vinny or Tempest (should I still say this now that Temp's resigned?) should be able to answer them. But yeah, insert age old joke about sanity here. See you round.
  17. I'm not saying that Talonflame is as broken in game as it is in competitive but it does still possess an amazing dual stab by level up combined with blistering speed. The only other pokemon that I can think of in the current release with as good a dual stab (off the top of my head) by level up are Blaziken, Infernape, and Heracross. All three of these are amongst the best pokemon in the game at the current point in time, no debate. Talonflame doesn't hit quite as hard as the other 3 but it is faster than all of them sans Blaziken after a turn, and also has roost by level up. It's plenty good from my point of view. Regardless this isn't the place to be debating Talonflame's worth. If you want to make a case for why you think Talonflame should be in the current release there are much better ways to do it than cluttering up the back pages of the location guide with something unrelated.
  18. Mhuh, mhuh, mhuhuhuh. Yeah, you're not going to find them in this game. Not yet anyway. You can expect pokemon like that to appear alongside others such as scyther, larvesta, and gible at the end of episode 20 after completing an arduous journey and you'll probably only get the choice of one. In all seriousness though, they're not in the game yet because they're far too good. Check here next time: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/game/obtainable.html As for previous episodes? The official downloads aren't available for those anymore so you'll need to find someone who's kind enough to give you a copy.
  19. Go to the sign up thread, located here: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=9062 and follow the instructions.
  20. Sheep

    Hey c:

Welcome Firebane. I like you already. Uh, but yeah, no sanity allowed. To expand on what Dobby said Pokenations is a competitive battling scene where you get sorted into a nation (and no, I don't think we have a hat. If we did, Lost would have already stolen it anyway) and fight a themed battle against a member of a different nation each week. Oh and it's probably pretty obvious that we're all on the reborn server when you get to PO but I thought I'd throw it in there anyway.
  21. If I remember correctly you trade a sunkern for it. Sorry, I can't remember where the guy to trade with is though. Somewhere in reborn city to be sure.
  22. What are you trying to say about bug? Bug's as good as any other type in the game. I should really do a bug mono sometime. Experience the pain of Shelly for myself. Maybe I'll narrate it and put it up on the forums somewhere.
  23. Whew, just finished my no grinding run through reborn. Somehow managed to beat Samson with a team including both Stoutland and Aurorus, with no super effective moves anywhere. That was really hard.

      Sheep

Stoutland, Aurorus, Swampert, Mawile, Gogoat, and Ampharos. I just realised, Mawile had play rough. So that's one super effective move vs fighting.

    3. Raindrop Valkyrie

      Raindrop Valkyrie

SOunds like that would have been helpful during the battle, no?

    4. Sheep

      Sheep

Not really, super effective stab sheer force boosted play rough is a force to be reckoned with to be sure but the pokemon I was having trouble with was Conkeldurr and he would just one shot poor Mawile.
