Well according to the obtainable list, which you can find here for further reference: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/game/obtainable.html Tropius is still in the game. Do you have pokesnacks? A lack of these might be the cause of it's absence. Alternatively a different parameter may have been put in place with it, it might have been moved, Ame might have forgotten to remove it from the obtainable list or the event might be bugged. But pokesnacks is the first thing I'd think of.

Some pretty abstract types here, but I like it. Gonna have to watch some big Steel, Fire, and Rock weaknesses though. Fortunately we almost have a monopoly on Rock types so STAB from that shouldn't be too common. Hopefully. It also helps that I still have access to Heracross. Not that I like to be predictable in my team building.

Yeah, that'd be my guess as well, seeing as mega evolution is at +6 priority, whereas prankster causes moves to occur at +1. That doesn't mean prankster won't activate before then but I'm pretty sure you're right.

I can't think of any other requirements off the top of my head. Sounds like a glitch, in which case this should be in troubleshooting. Someone there should be able to help you.

Until it starts running HP Ice to avoid being completely walled by Mega Sceptile. Still requires some prediction work on the generic choice sets but I can see it kicking out pain split/trick for some people.

Or perhaps non-Hoenn native pokemon? I don't think it's unreasonable to hope for mega evolutions for 1st and 2nd generation pokemon that appeared in the original R/S/E. Then again, we've already got mega Diancie so who knows?
