All I was really trying to say was that A) Claiming that RWBY isn't an anime, or at the very least an American attempt at one, simply because you dislike the most overexaggerated versions of the tropes present in anime isn't really fair to the genre or RWBY itself

And RWBY actually has plenty of those overexaggerations, it just uses them alongside less exaggerated, more serious, tropes

Well I don't like it because I pefer battles won with skill like in RvB not just a guy RKOing out of everywhere

I question things I don't care for for a few reasons

1: I try to give things the benefit of the doute and try them so I ask questions

2: Imy mind makes connections very easily even if there isn't one but I need to be satisfied with my thoughts

3: most my friends are otakus so I have learned to ask questions just so I can be part of the conversation

Well when I said I didn't get it your response was "it's a good message" which I took to be an explanation of why it was a subliminal message

Which of course made no sense to me because I cannot think of a single case where a subliminal message is also a good message, by definition subliminal messages disrupt free will which I consider to be a very negative thing

The issue probably was when the game was first released, it was only looked upon my those niche Indie Gamers who were open to simplistic graphics and mechanics. Roman is a fun villain. I mean, him playing with the control panel is pretty much the greatest depiction of who [Roman Torchwick] is.

I mean like handsome jack as in he is human. He's not just some brooding force of darkness that has no reason. Roman is funny, humorous, just like jack was. He isn't truly pure villain.

Roman is a perfect example of bringing humor into a serious plot without it feeling out of place

As well as a good example of how to make a villain without using an overused trope
