His fight was rather gimmicky and if you knew how to bet it it seems it would be so easy. Actually...a lot of the bosses in MG:R seem that way to me at least.

Yeah, Monsoon, Sundowner and Excelsus are rather gimmick-reliant, although Monsoon really is a challenge even if you throw EM grenades the instant he starts glowing. As for the others, they're mostly straight-forward fights. Sure, Sam has his disarming nonsense and there's the pre-Armstrong Armstrong battles on the MG, but that's about it.

Monsoon's weakness is hard to exploit wh his fight ends up actually being a bit tough. He truly has a window of vulnerability, whereas the others ones are much easier to just beat the heck out of them with their weakness. Isn't going to stop me from loving Mistral though lol.

Purge is pretty good. Stick to bot games until you have a basic knowledge of what every hero does, and play every hero at least once.

Yea Purge is a good guide, he explains things rather than just let them happen. Have fun climbing the skill cliff, it takes a lot of time to learn let alone master anything. And don;t be afriad to try out the other MOBAs if you don;t end up liking DoTA, every Moba has its Merits and it's weakpoints.
