    Xavier took a step forward, then slammed his other foot down in a stomp, releasing a wave of (harmless) fire over the combatants. Most of it impacted the anti-magic shell and fizzled. "Don't you think we should be trying to defeat the living dead intent on devouring everyone in this town rather than risking the lives of our valuable combatants in a duel over pride?"

    At this point, I don't think there's even a question about me joining a roleplay. This sounds interesting, though. Does true AI exist in this world? EDIT: Here's my character. Improvising as far as a template goes. Name: Spell3 Type: AI Personality: Rather curious, and enjoys discovering even simple patterns. Introspective. Prone to strong emotions due to being unused to, well, emotions. Appearance: Elects to appear as a character that symbolizes what he is thinking. Almost always projects a humanoid form if encountered in cyberspace, but is clearly not a human performing a construct hack, as his face will flicker between fixed expressions of specific emotions. No real preferred form, but gravitates toward fantasy/scifi characters. Bio: Can't really write this yet, but something along the lines of a research project that was thought to have failed, so he isn't monitored very heavily, and works by pretending to be an anonymous Mod.

    I've taken a similar test before and gotten high on schizotypal, but that's somewhat of a false positive; the test is designed for neurotypical people.

    Looks pretty good. We don't really need notable moves; it's reasonable to assume that a Honedge could cut things or protect itself from damage.

    Maintaining his act, Marcus replied. "I couldn't see his face," he said truthfully. One couldn't see one's own face, unless there was a mirror nearby. "He just looked like an average guy to me." Marcus was fully aware of his rather plain appearance. His wide eyes darted back and forth as the glass barrier rose around the group. "You're not gonna. . ." He stopped, eyes coming to a rest on the splatter of blood. Hold on, he thought to himself. This man is obviously bluffing. There isn't that much blood in a human body; I would know.

    Sounds good. I was actually thinking of writing a guide for RPing, as well as deciding on a set of general rules for all RPs in this section (to save time; they could still be adjusted per RP.) We could put these together, or I could just do mine separately.

    Sarcus flinched from the impact. "You have to be f. . ." he stopped mid sentence, after quickly regaining his composure. "Tie them up and move on; there's no way we're doing this quietly after that." He withdrew one of his knives, eliciting a squeak from one of the acolytes. He glared at her, then held it out towards the team. "Cut up one the uniforms to make something to tie them with." The Trainer grabbed one of the guards and proceeded to do so, ignoring the protests. "Oh, shut up, you know what I'm doing," he muttered under his breath.

    Marcus stood, having completed his task. In the distance, he heard a rather wet-sounding explosion. Curiosity drove his footsteps toward it. As he approached, he began to hear a few voices speaking. He halted for a moment, considering his next move. The killer backed up until he could no longer hear the three? speaking. He started breathing heavily and running in place, working himself up so he appeared to have been running away from something. After doing so, Marcus sprinted back toward the voices, with their owners quickly coming into view. He noted the mess and stink of a large amount of blood. The man standing there was probably his best bet, so he threw himself at him and started gibbering in a panicked voice. "Thank God someone else is here! I've been running for my life, there were these shadow creatures, and that old man . . . someone stabbed him!" The serial killer abruptly jumped back, continuing to feign terror. "And what the hell is that?!" he asked, gesturing at the splatter of blood while backing away, almost stepping on one of the younger boys.

    Character Name: Allen Schmidt Gender: Male Ability of the character: Can warp spacetime to a small degree; enough to essentially warp short distances or move quickly a la Star Trek's warp drive. However, tearing rifts in spacetime, however small, releases radiation. Appearance: Blonde, fairly tall. Not the most fit person, though running from the government has improved that. Wears khaki pants combined with a white tee and an overshirt. Personality: Friendly. Willing to try things most people wouldn't; his foolhardiness has only increased due to his ability. Smarter than he first appears, though he doesn't always utilize his brains. Has a need to constantly be moving. Likes people, but cannot stand any form of mistreatment of himself or others. Holds grudges. Background: Allen drifted from job to job, never really finding a place he felt like settling for more than a few months. He did manage to get a degree before leaving college, so each job had fairly good pay, but none were ever satisfying. He was on the way to yet another job interview on the day the pillars rose. A runaway car had careened toward the taxi he was in, and before he knew it he was on the pavement a few feet away, completely unharmed, while the taxi was a smoking ruin. Having played plenty of games involving ordinary people developing special powers, he ran off at an inhuman speed, evading the dazed police forces that he thought might want to capture him.
