  1. I've decided to do a fire and ice run in preparation for the E16 release of Pokemon Reborn. I know the release won't be for a while but I just wanna try something different. All Pokemon I use must be fire, ice, or have either as a primary or secondary typing (ex. Seel evolves into Dewgong which is part ice so I can use it) The only exceptions is needing HM slaves I'll catch event Pokemon, but they won't be used and will be put in a box called "Token Box". I'll catch and raise a Pokemon for trade (if the Pokemon I'm gonna receive is a fire or ice type) but no other trades can be done. I'm gonna try my best to beat the Garchomp battle, but I can't make guarantees. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trainer Name: Ariel Badges: 1 ============================ Battle versus Cain: Won Battle versus Victoria: Fail Battle Versus Fern: This is going to be an interesting battle indeed. I start off with Seel and he sends out Lotad. Seel's signal beam doesn't quite kill and Lotad retaliates with absorb, but it barely left a mark. He wastes his next turn using the potion (which was great anyways) and I take it out with another signal beam and headbutt. He then sends out his Snivy and I return Seel for Sneasel. Sneasel starts off with Fake Out, rendering her opponent useless. She quickly makes work of it with Ice Punch. To finish his team off, he sends out Budew and I send out Vulpix. A few embers and that took care of that. After he mumbles and calls me a loser (which is ironic cause I beat him), he goes off on his way. I go back and heal my Pokemon before I go and face Julia's gym...or so I thought. She blocked me and said she had business to attend to, a.k.a. I need to help her. Sighing, I made my way over to the factory. This wouldn't have bothered me aside from the fact I was having to work with Fern. Julia got very lucky in working with Florinia. So our "adventure" in the factory begins. Battle versus Aster and Eclipse: Started off the match with Sneasel, and landed the Fake Out. Of course, Elekid's static paralyzed me but I ended up one beating it with Ice Punch. When Budew went down and left just Magby, I switched out to Charmeleon. Fern's Lotad went down to Magby and I finished Magby off with Dragon Rage, so it wasn't too terrible. All in all, a pretty easy match. So after everything's said and done with Team Meteor, Julia blows up the darn place (in which we have very little time to get out anyways), and she invites me to challenge her at the gym. The first thing I need to do though is train before challenging her. After a bit of training and grabbing some token mons, I was ready to face Julia. I was actually pretty darn nervous due to the fact that I had a water type going against a bunch of electric types. With my fingers gracing the top of the Pokeball, I began my gym battle with Julia. Gym Leader Battle versus Julia: For this battle, I decided to start off with Sneasel while Julia starts off with Helioptile....um, long story short, Charmeleon took out most of the threats with Dragon Rage while Sneasel took out Emolga, Helioptile,Blitzle and Electrode. It was a pretty easy win to say the least. I was expecting more of a challenge, but oh well. After I got my badge (and the Tm for charge beam), I see Victoria standing outside of the gym. She congratulated me on my badge before panicking over evil plants or some sort of nonsense. In a flash, she said bye and went on her way. I headed on back to the Pokemon Center and healed my team for the time being. I go onto the Opal bridge and see Florinia about to enter into the Obsidia Ward. After a brief chat, she tells the guards to let me in, which is a freaking blessing in disguise. When I got there however, I was in utter shock. Plants were really taking over the city. I knew this wouldn't be a joke, so I attempted to train my team some more...only to run into Victoria once more. Victoria Battle #2: Won Finally after that, I go back and heal my Pokemon. I remember hearing rumors of a fire type that hides out under the Opal Bridge when it rains. Perhaps I should go check it out when it rains again? Until then, I'll just keep my team ready for anything that comes our way. Current Team: Bacon- Level 19 (Male) Winter- Level 17 (Female) Wren- Level 19 (Female) Happy- Level 16 (Male) Token- Level 5 (female) Here as a cut slave and pickup slave
  2. What's a decent nickname for a female Sneasel??

      Shamitako

Depends, are you looking for human or pet names?

      XxSilentWinterxX

I'm not naming it after a person. xD

    4. Shamitako

      Shamitako

Well, I usually give mine human names, especially the females, so that'd be easier

  3. Okay, thank you so much! Edit: The vulpix didn't end up shiny, but I'm not too terribly worried.
  4. Okay, I'm going to be doing a Fire/Ice run, and currently, there's not many good fire/ice mons to go around. Especially ice types. I have a few questions: Is it possible to make the egg you get from the woman in Peridot to be Seel instead of Cacnea? Can you also make the mystery Egg Larvesta? and for some Pokemon requests. -- If I can't get seel in the peridot ward egg, can I have it put in? Just a male seel with Signal Beam or Water Pulse? A modest nature is preferred (as long as it's IVs are decent, I'm fine). -- Is it also too much to ask for a Shiny Vulpix? (It's my mascot) and I won't be able to get it until rather late in the game. I don't want any special moves on it. Just a female, bold shiny vulpix with decent IVs. (Flash Fire is preferred if this is possible) -- A Sneasel with it's evolutionary item? Adamant or Jolly with Fake Out and either Ice Shard or Ice Punch?? If this is too much, then let me know. ^^;; I've never done this type of run before. But if you can do it, please and thank you <3 Game.rxdata
  5. I wanna do a special run for reborn, but I want to do more than just a monotype. Any suggestions?

  6. I've been doing a shiny run. Using only shiny Pokemon, but that's not exactly the best since my luck has been that the shinies are bad natures. xD but it's something different I suppose.
  7. Hmm...if you say "no" on accepting the Kricketot, does Shelly use it on her team? If not, that should be a thing.

    1. dragoniteborntacoz

      dragoniteborntacoz

but why would you say no to the kricketot

that things a god early game

    2. XxSilentWinterxX

      XxSilentWinterxX

I wouldn't. I found this out by accident. XD

    3. BreezyPonie

      BreezyPonie

I did, before I realised how freaking badass it was early game. I assumed that if I ever needed it I could always come back and pick it up later... oops.

  8. Didn't Bunnelby get Axed or moved to way later in the game as of Ep. 15?? Or was I mistaken? ^^;; Anyways... Before First Gym: 1.Kricketot is actually really amazing with Technician + Fury Cutter and also Struggle Bug for special attackers. 2, Also grabbing a trubbish and levelling it up enough to learn Toxic Spikes and Sludge (keep Acid Spray for Special Defense drops) 3.Zigzagoon is a dark horse. He can be especially helpful in beating the first gym. Level him up to the point where he learns Mud Sport. That alone will be a great advantage in helping you defeat her. It's also a great pick up slave so you can sell the extra items for more cash (Which means more healing items) 4.Igglybuff, while isn't Cleffa, is somewhat decent, but it takes forever to evolve due to it needing friendship evolution. Though in retrospect, the abilities of competitive and cute charm can come in handy for physical foes or stat reducers. 5. Munna or Espurr are good early psychic types for the beginning of the game. To get Munna, you'll need a level 15 Bibarel and then trade it to a man. He will give you a Munna named Shimmer. To gain Espurr, you'll need to pay a man a few times before he moves, and with a pokesnax, feed the espurr in the abandoned home and it will join you. 6. Stunky is also often overlooked. It has a rare typing of poison/dark (Drapion is the only other to share the typing iirc), and it only shares a weakness to ground. It's also decently offensive, and has aftermath if it happens to faint. 7. Blitzle might be the best electric type at this point in the game. You can get Pachirisu and Tynamo, but the latter has such a small movepool and the former isn't all that great in terms of stats. Blitzle is also at level 15 when you find it, so it makes it better in the long run. Before Second Gym: 1.Numel is going to be great because it has dual ground typing (watch out for x4 water weakness), it does have a lot of moves to beat electric types and poison types. However, as you progress, there are better mons to replace him. 2.Electrike is a better electric type out there if you aren't satisfied with the earlier choices. You will have to defeat a double battle and you'll be facing level 25 Mightyena. Once they're defeated, you can pick it up for yourself. 3.Drowzee is one of the possible Pokemon in the egg at the Obsidia Slums, and is usually hatched with knowing Nasty Plot. That on it's own can make it a fierce special attacker, but it's slow and can easily be outshined by Meowstic. If you prefer Hypno though, it's a decent mon. 4.Makuhita/Pancham are very very very great choices for later on, and having a fighting type can help you beat Florinia's ace. Both evolve into rather powerful Pokemon but Makuhita's evolution is easily accessed (at a mere level 25) rather than Pancham's evolution is (level 32 and needs a dark type in the party). So having both (or just one would be fine) is an asset to say the least. These are just a few the came to mind. ^^;;
  9. Can the traded Munna be shiny?? Asking for a shiny run. xD

  10. I'm really digging Toxeon. Will there ever be a chance of us seeing that in Reborn? It's so cool looking!
  11. I went to play the demo, and the link doesn't work. Will there be a new link for the future?
  12. Why do I need to talk to the villagers of Goldenleaf 500 times? I activated Spiritomb without needing to speak to them. O_o

      Meruem

500 is worth it. all im going to say. only took me 10 minutes.

  13. Not sure if this is supposed to happen, but I found Spiritomb randomly in Wispy Tower, and I haven't spoken to the Goldenleaf people 300 times (or even 500). Not even sure why it happened. Also, if you use the time machine (for the events) in Dr. Jenkel's lab, you can recatch the shadow Pokemon, even if you already caught them previously.
  14. Is there a Shiny Stone (or was it Dawn Stone) in the game yet? I was wanting to evolve my Togetic into Togekiss.
  15. Personally, I think the Audino breeders were a God send. Especially if you're wanting to keep a big amount of rotation Pokemon about, and having to level up your team from like level 1. It's helped me keep a decent assortment of Pokemon in my box to use whenever I need a switch from one of my main team mons (Example of this: Pyroar over Delphox fighting Narcissa). So I don't see how they're that much of a double edged sword.
  16. Why is Crawli so brutal?! So much for this battle being easy. : O

I meant the actual leader battle. XD I can't get past his Crustle without being swept.

  17. Where can you get the Itemfinder?? I've been meaning to look for that dusk stone in Goldenleaf (on the route to the odd tower).
  18. I beat her with my Tangrowth, Abomasnow, and Manectric. My MVP though was my Delphox who defeated her Lapras (it kept spamming Ice Beam). But With those three, I beat her on the second try.
  19. I personally used Manectric and I loved it! She helped me beat Valerie. I might eventually rotate her with my Electrode though. I just had better luck using Manectric honestly.
  20. Surgery went well! Now i need to catch up on Rejuvenation!

  21. Maybe make the jackpot starters available if they didn't start over and get one?? I'd also want to see Vulpix added. Maybe we could start finding mega stones, even though we wouldn't be able to use them?
  22. Rejuvenation, why do you do this to me?! I'm in the sad feels now! T_T
