Idk, I just really like this champion. I've lost every game with Kindred so far but she just feels so good and I had a lot of fun in every game regardless. Plus jungling isn't a strong suit of mine, so taking her out of that role might boost my enjoyment. I'm playing for fun until the end of the season anyway, so why not do what I enjoy?

I don't see why she would be so bad there. People thought Tahm was better top and support than Jungle, but that still happened. I see no problem with trying her out in a role that she wasn't intended for. Who's to say you just haven't gotten a good one yet? She's practically guaranteed to get a passive stack if the support targets the marked target too, and she can always roam to get a passive stack from scuttle before returning to lane. She's got all the late game scaling an ADC needs with nice utility and rather high mobility. She can take bad trades because of her W passive too. And she can also zone the enemy laner away with W if she gets the advantage and can force them under tower rather easily. Only reason I can see it not working well is if the person behind it just doesn't have the mechanical prowess.

Sorry about the delay. I feel bad for not saying anything after not posting for so long. I'm overwhelming myself with so many things and free time has been few and far between for me recently. While I may be a bit late to the conversation, I'm in agreement with Hukuna. He was in no way keeping me from posting as my schedule was the main contributor to that. Additionally, I think it's more important for him to go by how his character would truly react to the situation. If Drake doesn't want to be involved in the shenanigans, then I don't think she should have to. She just won't develop any new friends or adversaries just yet. I'd like to think I know Hukuna well, and he's definitely not the type of guy to just avoid any interaction thrown at him, but I think he's within his own right to ignore this one if he feels like it. It's not a life-or-death situation like what is happening at the boys dorm (I honestly haven't been paying too much attention to it just to avoid any potential metagaming on my behalf), and there are already a significant amount of people taking part in this interaction already, even excluding Adeline, so its nothing that makes it so his character would have to be involved despite her will.

Female Dorms Adeline was too absorbed in the interaction unfolding before her to acknowledge Drake's concern. She only sat there, crossed her legs, and gazed at the people in front of her. An interesting bunch, that's for sure. This ought to be fun. After a bit, Adeline looked back up towards Drake. "Hey, mind passing me one of the fruits from Ellie. What's a show without some food, am I right?" The last sentence came out a bit louder than she expected. Anyone around her would probably be able to hear it. But of course, Adeline was oblivious to the volume of her comment.

Tfw I can't seem to get a good game with Kindred to give me an idea as to what builds are better for them or not. Whether it be no leash from my laners, or losing my first camp to my ally Teemo's poison, getting invaded early, or venturing out to get scuttle for passive stacks only to be ambushed and jumped by the enemy jungler who has already secured the objective, I always find a way to fall behind early that keeps me from being strong enough to counter jungle for passive stacks or gank. Maybe I'll just move to ADC Kindred for a while. At least there I have a better chance of being able to kill enemies I mark.

Did we not discuss the viable options for the lane you were looking for? And when the subject changed to new skins, you replied with a rather coarse "I don't give a rat's ass." So I fail to see how you can complain about getting sidetracked or disregarding topics if you are guilty of the same thing. I don't think anyone is trying to be rude when they inform you that a champion is better suited for a different playstyle. As a newer League of Legends player, you're most likely not aware of the meta of the game, and we're trying to help inform you. The meta is the meta because it works, and it works well. No one has been yelling at anyone for trying things differently. All I've seen is suggestions for a different and generally move effective playstyle. This thread is multi-purpose. It's going to have a main topic every now and then, but the users participating have a choice as to whether they want to be a part of the conversation or not. Also, the correct spelling is Yiddish.

I'd love to try them in actual matches, but my problem is that Team builder queues last too long, there's no way I'm fast enough to instalock them in blind pick, and they're always banned in draft.

Do you mean defensive in the case that they have escapes or are safe? Because none of them are technically defensive in my opinion. Among your safer ADCs are Corki, Ezreal, Tristana, and Sivir. ADC's with more defensive qualities are Ashe (her slows, stun with ult, E for vision, etc.) and Graves (W gets rid of enemy vision, passive for defensive stats, E for a gap closer/escape, not to mention tons of burst damage to fit that offensive side).

I honestly don't have a solution for this aside from reinstalling wine and following the directions specifically and not trying to make a shortcut.

I wasn't saying that Zilean is specifically support or anything, just that for someone who doesn't want to spend too much money, he can be played as a support, since he was looking for champs to play bot.

I'm interested as to why Thresh's lore deters you. He's actually got one of the most well-written ones in my opinion. Anyway, the general meta for bottom lane is to have one ADC and one support. Low cost ADCs include: Sivir, Ashe, and Tristana. Low cost supports can include: Annie, Nunu, Soraka, Janna, Alistar, Morgana, Taric, and Zilean. All of these champions, (except for maybe Alistar) are fairly easy to learn and cost 1350 or less IP.

I can say that I relate all too well with the second situation. While I never did ask the guy out, I know it would be a no, because he's straight obviously. And I knew who he liked at the time, and they're both a lovely couple currently and I couldn't be happier for them. I still have feelings for him, and I probably will continue to as he's a very close friend of mine. But if you're truly infatuated with someone, you'll understand that you should let them pursue the person that makes them happy. We're in high school. We're surrounded by people who we might not see in years to come. Upon graduation, we'll be in a different environment, where we'll meet new people. Bonds will form and break, and I doubt you won't fall for someone again as you have for this girl. Love will find you eventually. And while the wait may be unbearable, the reward is all too sweet. Keep your head up. I can't say you'll ever get over her, but just know that her pursuing this other guy will eventually lead to her happiness, and you moving on will keep you out of a depressing loop of feeling not good enough.
