Today I learned that I'm surrounded by idiots.

Name: Carissa Petale Partner Pokemon: Milotic Appearance: Light brown hair, soft, gentle face. Clothes are always toned down and never too flashy. Age: 19 Personality: Incredibly shy and quiet. Even if you know her personally, if she doesn't have to talk, she won't. She twirls her hair when she's nervous or stressed. She is incredibly smart, finding joy in figuring out things. Backstory: Carissa comes from Lavaridge Town. Her older sister was the most popular girl in town, aside from, you guessed it, Flannery. Carissa always lived under her shadow. But that was how she liked it. Her only friend was the Feebas she was given for her 5th birthday. Her sister always laughed at her, taunting her for being so quiet. When she was 18, she left town, not saying a word to her family, and stealing the majority of their funds. She took the ferry to get to Lilycove, where she bought a house and lived secluded with her newly evolved Milotic. When she was leaving the department store from getting supplies, she saw an elderly man being beaten brutally by followers of Dawn for being "a worthless heretic." Carissa had known of incidents where people were punished for their refusal to follow the somewhat new religion. But she'd never seen one is person, nor had she been a follower, herself. She was smart enough to realize that letting her refusal to follow the religion be known would end up horribly for her. Determined to end this violence, Carissa made her way to Sinnoh to figure out how to stop Dawn's despicable tyranny. Things to Notice: She wears a necklace made of a small blue gem shaped like a tear that she found near the shore of Lilycove. She never takes the necklace off, as she considers the necklace an extension of herself. Not exactly sure how the characters are introduced but I'm just saying she's going to Sinnoh as its the source of the problem. I'm assuming all new people will be joining the resistance?

I understand your question was not based on speculation, but it is still appropriate for the thread Jericho has linked. There's nothing wrong with going into a topic you aren't fully knowledgeable of and asking questions. This thread doesn't really need to be here and just adds more clutter.

I don't think that's what he's looking for, Covet is normal and won't affect any of Shade's pokemon.

It's also not available in previous episodes from my knowledge, so going back wouldn't solve it either.

"Victoria, use Dragon Dance to escape!" Ryan warned the Bagon as quickly as he could, but she was slightly late. As she began her dodge, the Night Slash struck Victoria's leg and she fell to the ground, very hurt. Victoria shed a tear, the pain proving a bit too much for her. Ryan ran out onto the field, wanting to help her. She seems so helpless, does she even want to do this anymore? Why did I put her in such a situation? When Ryan got closer, Victoria looked him directly in the eyes. A smal. fire burnt in her eyes She was not backing down just yet. What would she have to prove to her trainer then? Ryan gave her a look of sympathy before turning his back to walk to where he was previously. He whispered, "Go get him, girl." The Bagon slowly stood up, favoring her left leg, making sure it didn't touch the ground. Even with an injured leg, her speed and strength were incredible after 3 Dragon Dances and 2 hits taken after Rage. She was lethal. She dove upon the Heracross, attempting to hit another Fire Fang.

It truly depends. I either: A. Wanted her to build herself up so much that she makes one huge mistakes and loses B. She takes an incredible beating and ends up barely winning. Sorry for the confusion and stuff but I'm kind of feeling B. right now.

Victoria was angered that she hadn't defeated the Heracross yet. This is so, incredibly frustrating! Lose already! She screamed out in pure rage, kicking Hera's legs repeatedly. She cringed when the Night Slash smashed into her thick head. Had it been anywhere else, that might have finished her. But she felt stronger now. Sure she was close to being done, but her strength had definitely increased. Out of blind anger, Victoria was dazed and confused. She began to spew Dragon Rage from her mouth but accidentally set her teeth on fire at the same time, lunging at Hera in an attempt to finish her off. She used rage, just so you know, that was what made her feel stronger.

Victoria was no longer intimidated. She knew she was faster than the Heracross at this point. If she was agile enough, she could rush in and out without being hit. "Get him, Victoria!" Ryan screamed at Victoria, letting her take this into her own hands. The speedy little Bagon rushed around the Heracross in a circular motion, leaking Dragon Rage essence from her mouth. The blue flames encircled the Heracross, creating a ring in which the Heracross was surrounded. She then dove towards the Heracross's legs, attempting to hit a Fire Fang.
