    Carissa watched wide-eyed as Jory swept in like her knight in shining armor, fetching the cookies with ease. She was kind of upset that he had decided to give some to Adam, but when Jory handed the package to her, she had basically fallen in love. She took ten cookies from the container before closing it up and tossing it over her shoulder in the direction of Seth. She quickly shoved them all in to her jacket pocket for after she finished her soup. She threw her arms around Jory not caring how awkward the embrace was. The thought of chocolate was blinding her common sense. She whispered in a pleasured moan, "My hero..." She then released her grip and returned to her soup on the stump. She was dissatisfied to see that it had already cooled at this point. She groaned and fumbled around to find her Lila's Luxury Ball. She released her and Lila gave her an aggravated stare. Carissa rubbed her arm and whispered to Lila. "I hate to do this to you, but can you warm up my soup for me." The Milotic rolled her eyes as Carissa placed the can on the ground. She let out steaming stream of water towards the closed can. Carissa gave an appreciative smile as she picked up the can and simultaneously returned Lila to her pokeball. She sat down on the stump, patting the spot next to her to recommend Jory sat with her.

    Sounds interesting. A bit concerned how this will work considering there is some variation in the ranks of Reborn's players. But I'm interested. Perhaps also ask for their best/preferred roles just for reference. IGN: TacosAndFlowers Best Role: Attack Damage Carry

    Jory's pace was so quick that Carissa had to almost run after him. I mean, I'd be enticed by soup and marshmallows too in this circumstance. I'll let it slide. Carissa laughed inwardly as she arrived. She gratefully took a can of soup from Seth, sending him a small thank you with a thumbs-up. But the cherry on top of her affection to Jory was when he revealed his stash of cookies. Her face lit up instantly. "Ch-ch-chocolate chip?! I! Love! Chocolate!" As she reached towards the container, her chocolate-driven greed blinding her, Lockhart swooped in and stole the cookies! Carissa shook her fist at the bird as it soared away. "You damned bird! Give us back the damn cookies you bastard!" She turned and saw Adam idly sitting not giving a damn. Faster than a Ninjask with 6 stacks of Speed Boost, Carissa ran up to Adam. "You tell your damn bird to give us back the cookies or I will destroy him!"

    Carissa let out an incredibly loud chuckle when Jory's stomach growled. As if it was a song sung in a round, Carissa's stomach let out an almost unhuman growl that left her very red in the face. "Looks like I was too wrapped up in our conversation to realize I was just as hungry. Lead the way, Jory." What is about this man that's making me forget about my own well-being, that makes me want to open my mouth and never stop, that makes me want to nestle closer to him in the hopes that all discomfort I'm feeling can be erased in an instant? I think I've said more to Jory today than I've said to someone in my entire life. And we've just met! Yet it feels like I've known him for so much longer! These thoughts flew through Carissa's mind like a group of Wingull swarming a fry someone accidentally dropped on the Lilycove shore as she looked back up into Jory's face again. And that gorgeous face... Carissa's cheeks were a darker red than a Tamato Berry.

    A sudden sensation came over Carissa as Jory finished his last sentence. Is he trying to say something? That maybe I can open him up to something new. "Well if that's how you want it to be, then who am I to argue it." Carissa looked back up at Jory's face. "Looks like I know who'll be my first priority to save on the battlefield, then." She gave a teasing wink then nestled herself closer to Jory, even though she was beginning to warm up.

    A sudden pang of guilt flew through Carissa's body. My story isn't as awful. And now he's giving me sympathy thinking I've had it worse. "I-I-I just never had a loving family. All I did was get made fun of by my sister, my parents never cared. My mother was a slut and my father was a cheating bastard. I just left it all when I turned 18 and that's how I got to Lilycove. Not as tragic as your experience I must say." Carissa sniffled again. "I'm so very sorry."

    Carissa huddled herself closer to Jory as he was telling her the story of his life in Lilycove. Some instinctive feeling inside of her wanted to make her huddle closer to him every time things seemed to get worse in the story. She wasn't even aware she was doing just that until by the end of the story, her face was smushed against his shoulder, as she let out a couple sniffles, one out of sorrow, the other from feeling a little under the weather. She shivered as she spoke. "Th-th-that's terrible J-Jory. And no, don't be upset about telling me. I'm a perfect person to confide to, considering I barely speak, normally. At least you have a family who truly loved you and you reciprocated that love as well. I wish I had that." Carissa let out a sniffle again, as a tear slid down her cheek, but instantly froze as it reached her lips.

    Carissa shot an angry look to Adam. It wasn't usual of her to react like that, but the nerve of the boy to interrupt to people just having a nice conversation! She looked back up at Jacob. "That's a great philosophy to live by. Maybe tweak it to add one little detail. Don't let people like him get you down." Carissa pointed over her shoulder at Adam, attempting to make it as conspicuous as possible in order to annoy Adam. "You've also probably never seen me in Lilycove because I only lived there for one year. You were probably gone by then." She paused. The Department Store. "Did you know that they made the first floor into a miniature shop to get on the citizen's good side recently? I never got the chance to experience the original Department Store though, considering I've only been there a year, as I've stated. Anyway, it was an incident there that actually inspired me to come here. I was forced to watch a man being beaten by a few acolytes for not following her. I was stuck watching because an acolyte was checking out my items, and I obviously didn't want to waste money. So I came here." Carissa paused and had a puzzled look on her face. I've never talked this much to someone before. Why is it now of all the times that I seem to be speaking word vomit. Is... there something about this man?

    Carissa smiled at Jory's warmth and kindness. She even let out a light chuckle as Shredder went off to play with the other pokemon. "He's quite cute. And very excitable too. It's a mystery how he could be so cheery in this dark a world." She looked Jory in the eyes before continuing to speak. "W-would you mind if I h-huddled closer to you for w-warmth." I sure hope he thinks the stuttering is just a side affect of me shivering. I wouldn't want him to think I'm leading him on or anything... yet. Without waiting for a response, Carissa lightly pushed herself into Jory's side, tilting her head so it was barely laying on his shoulder. Without looking him in the eyes, she began to speak again. "Well, I originally lived in Lavaridge. But I moved to Lilycove by myself after an... incident. I would show you Lila right now, but she would be angry at me for sending her out in such conditions. She can be quite the drama queen sometimes. It's almost like she forgot she was once an ugly little Feebas." Carissa let out a soft chuckle as she walked in sync with Jory.

    Author's got you covered. Legendaries won't be available for quite a while. Post game most likely. As for seeing legendaries obtainable on the list, I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. I see none. Author's also got you covered with the game not being as much of a hack as a complete from-scratch fan game.

    Ryan looked back at Raiza, realizing this was quite a feat. "Well, almost an hour ago, honestly. She's quite obedient. I was surprised she even understood what I was saying to her, let alone being able to perform such a charade." It was then that Professor Cadmus came over and ordered them to help other students. "OK, I guess we can get back to this a little later. Mind being my little assistant right now, Delilah?" The Phanpy let out another "toot" from her trunk and made her way over to Ryan. He then began going to work on the closest injured student, layering bandages on an open wound in her leg.

    Ryan's train of thought was swerving between the conversation and trying to figure out why the Donphans were so spooked. A thought rushed into Ryan's head like a bullet through flesh. He snapped his fingers and exclaimed, "My Phanpy, Delilah! She was part of the herd, she must know what made them so afraid!" Ryan felt around his belt for his pokeballs. Upon reaching Delilah's, he took it out and tossed it a little to the right of Raiza and Henry. The beautiful white flash took the shape of a Phanpy, as Delilah let out a little "toot" from her trunk. Ryan knelt down next to her, gently rubbing her head. "Hey Delilah, you little cutie. I got a question for you. You up for the task?" Delilah let out another, more confident toot and got herself into a fighting position. Ryan laughed a little bit. "This isn't a battle you silly. Look, I know that you were one of the Phanpys in the herd that used to be here. Can you tell me what made you guys go on a stampeding rampage?" The Phanpy froze, and quivered intensely before regaining her composure, sinking her little knees into the earth and turning away from Ryan. She flapped her trunk towards where she had originally came from. She then hunkered down, moving around in a clunky, somewhat sinister movement, shifting from one leg to another, as if trying to be stealthy in the open space. She paused and look around for a moment. She let out a grunt of frustration before her eyes fell upon a little patch of black dust. She ran over to it, kicking it all over herself, attempting to mimic the ones who scared her family. She then continued her act, moving around and occasionally letting out a harsh "Phanp" in a deeper tone than usual. Ryan couldn't help but chuckle at her performance, but then realized what she was doing. He found a little notepad and a piece of paper that must have been in the tote bag originally. He grabbed them and began writing. "Somewhat thug-like... Dark clothing or skin... A reason to be sneaky... That sound like anybody to anyone?" Ryan looked up hopefully at those around him in an attempt to get an answer.

    Chim, would it be possible that we could try and get at least a minimal amount of information out of the Phanpy Ryan had just caught to maybe get them on the right track? It would know why they were spooked at least.

    A glimmer lit up inside Carissa's eyes as Jory introduced herself to her. At least this one isn't going to chastise me for just talking. I guess he's worthy of being a friend. Carissa turned her head and gave a glare and a joking protrusion of the tongue to Adam before shaking Jory's hand. "Pleasure to meet you Jory, I'm Carissa. Thank you for being kinder to me than... him." Carissa rolled her eyes to the side, as if attempting to point to Adam behind her. "As long as someone isn't being rude to me, I'd be willing to call them not only an ally, but a friend." Carissa crossed her arms in an attempt to warm them. "Just how far away are we from Snowpoint anyway?"

    "Nice to meet you as well, Miki." Carissa held her hand out to Raito. "And you as well, Raito." As she was withdrawing her hand, a voice spoke out to her. "Hey, wasn't the whole point of our break before the mission to introduce ourselves, and you wait till now to do that? How daft can you be?" Carissa sunk into her coat at the boy's sudden hostility. She spoke quieter than usual, almost a whisper. "I-I-I just didn't want to introduce myself to such a large group." She bowed to the man. "M-my apologies, sir." She then turned back to Miki and slipped her hood over her head, trying to hide from Adam..
