Liberating an ancient "evil thing" isn't so bad, when i was young and naive i payed mostly "good" characters now that i'm old for some reason (alignment shift?) i play mostly "evil" so i would do it just for fun, too bad it doesn't seem that powerful if even Narcissa could beat it. Narcissa is 56? And you went through her lingerie? Well...if that's your thing i'm not gonna judge. Some of those Mirror Dimensions seem way more interesting than the main one (especially the one with Monsieur X) -
Sooo when is Rose going to replace you as the narrator of your misadventures? btw i vote in favor of the episode with "useless" trivia (it might be interesting) That Library is cursed, everyone gets cool items from it except you. I liked the old Venam Gym better it suited her "personality" (even if it was a ripoff of Roxie) or is Jan hinting at Venam being...ha...Intelligent? Oh someone acknowledged your achievements and actually thanked you (even if it's a side quest)....feels refreshing, maybe Jan finally got the memo that the Main character should be the focus of the story and not a sidekick to his precious Melia...we will see. The items replacing HM's are a very good idea (i wish Reborn had those too) and yes Ghal Maraz (the hammer) was gifted by those spiteful little hair balls called Dwarfs to Sigmar for saving them from a Greenskin Horde...ahem if for some reason you want to deepen your knowledge of Warhammer i would suggest playing the Total War Warhammer games (if you're into strategy that is) those are pretty fun. Being a DAMN lefty i feel profoundly hurt and\or offended by your statement and will send a squad of lefty assassins to cleanse the world of another righty supremacist!

And here i thought we lost you again, welcome back. Noooo your ideal life with Karen is already over! How could she leave you after all the time you spent together!? I thought she was the one...actually i think she will come back even crazier (if that is possible) because you should never trust an Unown. The new fight mechanic is pretty nice i hope it's not an one-off and gets used somewhere else too. Is that Hoothoot from the Reborn run or something? It seems familiar but that was so long ago i don't remember.

Hm this was actually a nice/funny quest (for now at least) but that's probably because Karen is one of the few characters i like (already mentioned that i think), you can't go wrong with a completely insane girl with superpowers! And now you have a perfect happy family isn't it nice? Even your personalities (kinda) match! Good luck little Dove Now that i think about it with your immortality and meta commentary you're like Deadpool (minus the combat prowess) Derogatory Dad will haunt my dreams for months but is it really your final form? What about Derogatory Grandpa? Armed with a cane a bad attitude and no remorse in his old crazy eyes. Why do you want to cut your majestic "crazy scientist" hair?

...where to start? This will be pretty negative so if you don't want your feelings hurt better stop reading now. In short i'm disappointed, not even angry (despite a short temper) just sad...after all this time this is the result? The development of one of my favorite games was postponed for this? For the last couple of years i haven't been very active on the forums (just checking periodically on Reborn's progress more or less) so imagine my delight at finally seeing a demo of the next game, maybe my expectations were too high. Basically the only thing i really liked was the music and the design of some of the characters, the scissor girl (Nova i think?), the Sin of Lust dude and our protagonist Star. I never played a rhythm game before but the tutorial was easy enough to understand so that isn't a problem though as some people already mentioned the current implementation is open to abuse and kinda easy (surprising coming from the developer of Reborn) which i don't like but that's just my opinion other people may enjoy an easier experience. The art is "hit or miss" some of it is good/ok some bad, seriously i know we are in Hell and all but must everything be black and red? Some other color here and there would help i think, overall it's fine. The UI is a little clunky , for example an "end turn for all" button would be nice instead of clicking wait on every one of the characters (or maybe there is and i just missed it?) but that can (and probably will) get fixed. What will (probably) not get fixed is the story ohh the story, we start with the only male guard of the place (yes all the other guards are female) assaulting our protagonist because he wants her "water" as in her saliva (if i understood what Karus said correctly)...kinky...anyway i get what this scene wants to convey what i don't get is how she is able to avoid the guard (and why is the guard not armed?) till he just "gives up" and leaves? She didn't knock him out didn't call another guard for help or used some other method, no...he just leaves, then she is freed by sidekick N1 but when he tries to reassure her she harshly rebuffs him saying "she needs no help from a man" despite needing the help of said man 5 seconds earlier (funny i remember the same line said basically word for word from an NPC in BG Siege of Dragonspear but i digress) thankfully this was one of the worst parts (too bad it's the first we see) the bad thing is that the rest is just kinda meh? Stereotypical Heaven vs Hell story but this time both sides are baddies, then again this is just a little level (and not even the beginning) so i can be proved wrong on this front. The point i'm trying to make is despite the really heavy handed "social commentary" parts (which were present in Reborn too) i would still enjoy this game if the story and/or the characters were good but they are not which is baffling coming from the creator of such an interesting story and characters as the ones in Reborn. About the characters: maybe we didn't get to know them well yet (and that's not the players fault) but i honestly felt more "life" in the pixel sprites of the previous game, they didn't change expression sure but their dialog was so good they didn't need to and i know we didn't see all the characters in Starlight but the ones encountered felt very generic, we have the extra mega ultra baddies (still they have nothing on the Dark Elves from Warhammer but again i digress) on one side and whiny goody two shoes sidekicks on the other (again i know this is just a piece of the game) the only exception is our protagonist which seems to have a personality, a bad one but that's fine for a protagonist, it should help with character development (although i think not everyone will like her)...uff that was a wall of text but this is my opinion on the demo i will try it again when the game comes out but i'm not holding my breath tl:dr disappointed.

Is that...is that really you? Honestly though i gave up hope on seeing this nuzlocke again (i just check the forums every so often for updates on Reborn and that's it) so will you continue or is it a one time thing? Anyway glad to see you again. I think i like the narrator, if he stays at least you'll have someone sane to talk to beside (some of) your Pokemon And we have another "brilliant" quest where winning the battle means nothing, where you're (literally) treated like a punching bag and the "bad" guys win...hooray...but really isn't the majority of quests in Rejuvenation like this? btw any plans for Starlight Divide? I'll be checking the demo today...just played it....it's bad, some aspects are ok (not great mind you) while others. especially the story made me cringe so much, can't believe this was made by the same person that created Reborn...i'm not even mad just disappointed

Damn...the curse didn't work after all (it's probably the same gypsy you went to) but really i hope you recover fast (purely for my amusement of course) and try not to fall doing "heroic" stuff anymore Now it's time to register to the game and see my character die a gruesome (and hopefully epic) death

Stealing is wrong...but not in a RPG game! I literally steal everything not nailed down in every RPG i play and yes Tyrantrum is way better than Aurorus (and i'm not saying this just because i like Dragon Pokemon and dinosaurus) Now i (partially) understand why Saki is the way she is, growing up in that city would drive anyone crazy. Oh Karen, you know she is probably the only NPC in this game i actually like (some others i can tolerate but that's about it) i think she's a well written character (unlike most of the cast) with her own clear (even if insane) goals and motivation...sooo when is the wedding? Anime is Art! and the "plot" is a very important part of it, i would even dare say it's integral to the understanding and development of the story...ahem moving on 30 Pokemon already died on this run? That's a lot more than i thought (probably because half of them didn't stay on the team long enough for me to notice but still) and take care of Rose i remember ragequitting my Pokemon Black run after i lost my main to a random double battle, it was not pretty. Aha a slavery joke in 2019...you are a brave man

Phew Chiller survived but how DID he survive? I always thought Vanilluxe as not very strong defensively, anyway that was waaaay too close, RIP Damocles your silence was worth more than a 1000 words. All in all this Gym battle was not very difficult (or you made it seem that way) and yes we'll probably never see Erick again as this game focuses too much on some "really important" characters (to the detriment of others) So Angie is back and more edgy than ever...meh i've seen worse

That slap was good even if she forgave them instantly Did you really misclick? Or was it to get the "good ending"? If there is such a thing in this game Sometimes this game amazes me at how inconsiderate it can be towards the protagonist, it's her Garbodor she should be the one to fight it, instead she basically orders you to do it and you don't even get a "thanks Sean" afterward. 16 whole chapters without the stupid duo? Is it Christmas already? Or will those chapters be one sentence long?

Googles that block smell....still not the strangest thing in this game Whoa that thing is tanky...just like the sewer Swalot from another game i know Wasn't Zet..Mel the only one able to open the rifts? Sniff sniff i smell another retcon! Ok how the hell did Saki get 3 stars? While i wasn't looking or something?

Amber gave you her number? When did that....wait there are phones in this region? The sea shanty was great (a Pokemon game where you're a pirate would be actually cool) but how did you convince Orlando to participate? Is Karrina the first person not falling over themselves to "accomodate" Melia? I think she is...heh but she immediately recieved a kick to the face for it also nice theory about her (if only this game did less retcons)

Yyes yes...after all these years of sacrifice and research we finally found it! The Mythical Next Part of the Legendary Quest to find sense in Rejuvenation....glad to have you back i though you were on vacation or something (btw two images are missing for me as well) Can't you see it Sean Madame X (aka Melia from the future) is the one who will save everyone so actually you're the "bad guy" of the story....wait...that actually makes kinda sense and it's probably why you don't "feel" like a protagonist! (and not because Jan is a Melia fanboy) Paladin? By the extremely rational and not at all flawed alingment system in DnD you're clearly a Blackguard So you're not actually immortal? Madame X was saving you the whole time? She could be lying because if not then why did she try to kill you (herself and by proxy)? Arrhg with all this time travel and superpowers nonsense it's getting more confusing by the minute and more importantly why is all this stuff in a POKEMON game?

Don't worry about the book Sean you can just add pages like i do OH NO! The obviously evil Pokemon who hired us to do evil betrayed our trust! What a plot twist! The sad thing is your protagonist CAN in fact talk but only when the plot demands it, which is total bs because you can't mute a character only when it's convenient just like you can't assume what said character will say in a given situation (referring to "where is Melia") well just like always in this game bad writing strikes again (btw it's unlikely but if i ever meet the writers behind season 8 of GoT i'm going to punch them in their smug face) You couldn't resist arrest because Jan used Petrificus Totalus on you (while laughing maniacly) we just missed it that's all Soooo seconds after his wife died Vitus went insane and started (i'm assuming) to sacrifice his daughter to the elder gods Arceus if he was so unstable to need just one push why we didn't see any sign of it?

The more this game goes on the less sense it makes, most of the people in this region must be brain dead to get where we are now. I think Madame X is actually Melia from a different timeline where you don't exist (because every time travel plot cliche demands it) Advanced Calculus at 5? Pfff pathetic have they seen what Melia can do? Ahh summer holidays the only good thing about school...i miss them, now summer is the busiest time of the year for me so i only get winter to rest.

That "cute" comment may be a first sign of infection...don't worry though i have my flamethrower ready...just in case This is Pokemon Sean of course a magical time traveling badge counts (unlike in another game we are familiar with) Oh they didn't fight i'm disappointed but maybe later? What? Everyone knows that a Mage or a Mage/Fighter hybrid mops the floor with a single class Fighter (especially at higher levels) that said i too usually stick to one class (mostly melee)

I still remember the young Sean strolling trough Reborn with his sanity still (partially) intact then came Snakewood and as a final blow Rejuvenation...what would you say to the old you now? Really? They need Melia to work to maintain the entire town? How? I don't even....don't get me wrong i'm glad she won't be around (only for a short time i'm sure) but that's just ridiculous So that poor Max clone is Venam? Shouldn't she look more like Chloe? Way to subvert my expectations It's not a chained Goddess but Lady Death is more fitting as you're immortal (and already have 1 stone):

This Kanon fella seems like one of the stupidest characters in the entire game (that includes gems such as Veronica) Are we sure that diary was from Kanon and not Jan? Too many "Melia is perfect" entries...very suspect. Great job Sean! You blended in completely with this society...you'll continue to talk like that for the rest of the "time adventure" right? I think this game would benefit from a narrator (a snarky/sarcastic one) Don't laught Sean she used the Hyperbolic TIme Chamber to get stronger once she can do it again, to be at your level she'll probably get out as a 90 year old lady though.

You know i thought that i would never forgive Amber for her behavior the first time you met but after this episode i'm not so sure (that means Jan actually made a good character arc for once) too bad we won't see her for a veeeery long time but we still have our 2 "favorite" characters to hang out with.....yaay? Sigh i hope the past is better than the present. Oh...that's why Venam keeps going after Melia i though she was just crazy (like half of the characters to be honest) That's your ringtone? Arghm i won't judge An Abra! One of my favorite glass cannons (when she evolves) Ohhh you started a Book of Grudges just like the Dwarfs from Warhammer (probably just a coincidence but i like it) Of course it's a good thing for the Cube to grow don't listen to anyone telling you otherwise Oh time travel....how quaint, maybe you can somehow lose them back in time? Meanwhile Texen is doing well (except the amnesia)

Nim lives! Except she probably will not remember and/or hinder you and does Crescent really think that cutting your hair makes you unrecognizable? At least one of the top girls survived Turtonator is kinda good but only early to mid game then it becomes increasingly useless but at least he helped (unlike the Rock types) all in all the battle was pretty good Ah yes the Seeds...my reaction was pretty similar when i restarted Reborn, Ame probably thought that Fields were not unfair enough and bosses needed that extra edge Karen gives me the creeps you should sneak attack her before she does the same Aww poor Texen he only wanted to insult one of your (very few) still alive friends in this region what's wrong with that? I pity the guy because i know he's going to end badly
