    Yep, same place. Viktor, Lux, Beverly, and Anver are all at the same party, while Kenny, Ace, Jude, Eugene, Allen, and Alice are all at the same place as well (Not the party though, at the jail). Keaton will be going somewhere else with Hades as soon as he replies.

    Palutena seems pretty bad... Still going to be in my top three though, I think. Robin, Palutena, and Lucina/Marth. Oh yeah...

      I kinda like the projectile type characters, or really heavy ones. SO If I ever get new smash......mine would probably be Duck Hunt Dog, Ganondorf/Captain Falcon((they are pretty damn similar, so I am counting them as the same here.)), Bowser Jr, or Wario. One of those guys for sure.

    I was expecting that you would ask around for the head of the party at some point, who would be Mr. Taylor. Though if you want, I can give you a little push along the path.

    Well, I was assuming if I didn't formally switch back before things started, you'd just assume I was a scout, but if you need a definitive answer, I think I'll stay a scout. While a medic would need an understanding of nature, I just can't see a man like Garen resigning himself to that position. Despite the lesser amount of combat, I think a scout will fit best with him. Sorry if I irritated you with that last post. And Snap, don't feel like you have to change because of me. If anything, I should be the one changing my character if that's what we decided to do. But, for now, we can be a scout team, I guess.

    All right, so Dar logged in yesterday, but he hasn't read my pm yet. I'm assuming this means he'll be back at some point, though. I guess if he isn't back before the necessary time, we'll assume his PC is unconscious, though I'll have to come up with a reason for why...

    ^That's perfectly fine. As long as I know I still have people interested here. Anywho, are there any other important points that we've missed concerning the basics of the Gruul? I'm kind of braindead right now...

    Supernovae, typhlosionrulez, King Murdoc, Snap Crackle Pop, Chimchain Beetle stood speechless as the two unfamiliar men went about there conflict. "One can phase through things, and the other has superspeed? That's at least what it seems like, meaning that I'm completely outmatched. Though maybe the others can do something, if it comes to that... I hope it doesn't." Nexus tapped Beetle's shoulder. There was a portal on the floor behind the group, leading to the floor below. A smile came across Beetle's face. It appeared they wouldn't need to start a conflict after all. If they moved quickly, they might get to Rebecca before these other guys, wherever she was, and be able to get out as well. "Let's go guys!" Beetle said. "This is our chance!" ---------------------------------------------- K_H A man stepped into Kenny's path. Kenny couldn't be sure where he'd come from, as he hadn't passed anyone on the way in. The man was tall and extremely muscular, wearing a cut-off with camo pants and combat boots. He had short blonde hair, and wore sunglasses, despite being indoors. He had a grin on his face. "Running away with my prisoner, huh? And just who do you think you are?"

    Wait. There's another scout? I had only checked the OP, but I forgot that there were some you hadn't yet added... I'm having a huge case of indecision right now. I feel like he should be a shock trooper since I had intended for him to prefer melee weapons and be muscular because of it, but I also feel like a scout makes better use of his nature side. But we already have a scout, and two seems like it might be redundant, especially since we picked the exact same skill. Then again, we already have a Shock Trooper, and two might get redundant again, though I had stealth while EXlink had Ambidextrous. Bleh. Edit: @Hukuna I was also thinking that it would make sense for Vixen to have known Garen at some point, since they both would spend a lot of time in the wild. I imagined it wouldn't be anything too close, though. Childhood friends for a short time like you said, or perhaps Garen may have just caught glimpses of her in the forests before she disappeared (Being a loner)? Though now that I realize Snap's character is a scout as well, it would make sense for Garen to know her a little bit too, if we went that route. They could actually both work.

    Well, you don't need to take it that far... I just meant to clarify things. We've all messed up before, myself included, multiple times. When it happens, it happens, and you just edit and continue. Nobody's upset.

    Um... Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're doing, there's no way Morris could push past Mr. Taylor or speak to Quincy at this point. They're both surrounded by giant walls... Though I'll leave it to Notus or Rose's discretion on this.

    Well. It appears Phantom is now the only one who could interfere, if he chose to. Not that he will, though it might have made for an interesting surprise. Maybe he'll just carry away the body of the loser or something, like he did back on floor one...

    There will be nomadic groups of Gruul, so no worries there. Like any race, it's very unlikely that all of them would stay in one place, so smaller groups or individuals may go off on their own to form there own "clans" for lack of a better word. I don't expect Gruul to take any side on a conflict between north and south, as they don't specialize in artificing or magic. I would, however, expect the dwarves to at least have a minor alliance with the south, as the dwarves and artificers need each other for trade. Don't worry about posting either. I'd much rather have some feedback than none, even if it's just from one or two people. Though if responses keep dwindling, I may have to remove the community aspect and finish this on my own, which would be unfortunate.

    1. I think we'll stick with Gruul at this point, for conveniences sake. It can always be changed at the end. 2. We'll probably come back to this at some point, as there wasn't a whole lot of feedback now. Perhaps when we're determining geography? 3. I do like this idea. I imagined them as heavy miners/smiths. One idea I had was that there could be some sort of yearly smithing competition between the Gruul and the dwarves who live beneath them. Both races would be known for their smithing, and perhaps the winner would get to keep some rare item or trophy for a year until the next competition. It could be an item with use, such as some kind of special hammer, or a simple symbolic item. Thoughts on this idea?

    Well, wasn't that helpful? He had to feel... nothing? Was that even possible? Nero withdrew back into concentration, feeling the magic around him, as he would when casting any other spell. However, this time he stopped himself. Apparently, that was not what he was supposed to be using. He needed to feel nothing, to simply fade away from the world, as he had wished almost his entire life. Simply to be gone from this wretched world, and find peace in death. He dropped his thoughts, losing himself into a blank nothingness. He waited like this a long time, before finally grunting his frustration again as he open his eyes and kicked at the air. "It's impossible!" he shouted, clearly upset at his failure. He turned and strode to the door. Apparently, there was nothing this Glicks could teach him. But what Nero didn't know, was that he had been invisible the entire time...

    "Guys, is there another way out?" Phantom slowly responded as he open a portal to the other dimension. "...Yes..." And with that, he stepped through, leaving the others to themselves for a short time. Perhaps they would think he was deserting them. If that was the case, he would simply have to deal with it later. For now, he had to focus on the task at hand. (((Sorry for shortness, but there isn't a whole lot more embellishment to be done on this.)))

    Ark, it appears your character will be the first to witness why Hades is one of the "big three..." Also, I just wanted to move this back to the first page. Edit: Also, not sure what's up with Dar. I pm'd him letting him know that he could enter, but he hasn't logged in in twelve days so... What do you guys think? How much time should I give him, if any?

    Arkhidon There was a note left in Keaton's room when he returned. It was very short simply stating: Come to my lab when you're ready to leave. "Hades" **** There was a knock on the lab door. Hades stepped away from his worktable and strode over to open it. It was Keaton. That boy. What was he doing here again...? -Oh right, he'd invited him to join him on his trip. He figured the kid could use some fun in his day. "Oh. Hello, Keaton." Hades stepped aside from the doorway, granting Keaton a full look of the room as he returned something from one of his pockets to a drawer. The room was cold, not unbearably, but noticeably chilly. There were multiple lab tables, filled with computers and equipment, but the most disturbing thing was... the bodies. There were three bodies visible in the room, all clearly dead. Two were laid out on tables, all sorts of wires and equipment hooked up to various parts of them, while the third was strapped to the right wall. The back wall resembled a morgue, with all sorts of large drawers built in. Hades simply strode around as if nothing was unusual. "Are you ready to go, then?" Hades asked, returning to the doorway. "You may want to grab a gun or something on the way out. You might need it. Beetle ran in, followed by his grandfather, Allen, Alice, Eugene, and Nexus. He looked at the scene in front of them, a shocked look on his face. He managed to utter a simple question in his shock to the unfamiliar faces. "Um... What's up?"

    Lars grabbed his capsules as he stood by Surge, staying alert for the first sign of danger as they crept forward across the tarmac. He released Malice, figuring that the ghostly creature would be most useful in the dark environment. As soon as the Ghastly came out, it turned and gave Lars a lick on the face, sending tingles down his spine. "Al-all right, Malice," he whispered, recovering from the shivers, "go surprise the guy in the helicopter. Put him to sleep if you can, like you did to Dominance in our battle." Malice nodded, flying away towards the helicopter.

    Nero frowned. He was supposed to feel some sort of energy in himself? And use that to become invisible? He closed his eyes, breathing out slowly, trying to find the latent energy Glicks had spoke of. Minute after minute passed by, but he couldn't seem to pinpoint it. After a while, he snapped out of his trance, exasperated. "I don't feel anything inside myself," he began, clearly frustrated. "What am I supposed to be looking for?"

    If no other scouts come along, I was thinking I might switch Garen's role if that's all right, since there are two shock troopers already. It may require some slight adjustments to his backstory though, unless scouts can use some form of melee weapon (And it seems kind of weird for a nature guy to be operating drones, but.. meh. All for the sake of diversity.)

    Phantom turned to Mr. Taylor as the new entries arrived. It appeared that they could not break away from the group for very long in this place, even if they tried. One of the girls, who appeared to be unable to see called out. "Is anyone here besides me, Enya, and Morris?" He spoke slowly to Mr. Taylor, his voice ringing around the room, while still seeming quiet. "Your... friends..."
