  1. Everyone is updated into the list. Let me know if I messed something up. It's bound to happen eventually. Remember, I'm going by when the account was made, so that's where you'll be. Also, a big thanks to everyone who has participated so far! I'd like to make this even bigger, to the point where it represents a large number of people here. My timezone actually places you in Episode XI. It's funny that you fall right on the line. I gave you the benefit of the doubt for Episode X though. I'll look into that, actually. Maybe tomorrow, when I have more time.
  2. "I wouldn't have invited you if you weren't a hero Vayne... O treacherous one. So... maybe that impossibility i mentioned earlier... maybe it isn't so impossible after all." "Of course it isn't..." Vayne muttered. He was obviously distraught and not completely set in reality at the moment. "Any hero can become a traitor... all it takes is a single moment - a single reason to push them past the boundaries of logic." Vayne stopped there, his voice choking up at the end. He closed his eyes and went through the old calming exercises he had learned as a child in the forest he had come to know so well. After a short while, he opened them again and met the gaze of the Lord in Violet, his eyes bearing a steely gaze. He was clearly more focused and together now, living in the present once more. "What did you mean when you said you "invited" me?" he demanded. "Why couldn't you just leave me dead... It's what I deserve..." His voice drifted away with the last sentence, and he appeared to be returning back to his inner thoughts once more...
  3. Updated with everyone, and also reformatted some things to look a bit easier on the eyes.
  4. I'm thinking I'll go purely by account date, since that's when people could have first actually been involved in the community.
  5. I've posted a new topic up that deals with Reborn's history, though not in the sense that most people have been asking for. I'm not old enough for that. But anyway, it's a fun little idea I had, and the more people that get involved, the better it will be, so please, check it out! http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=15629#entry358537

Hm, perhaps it should be pinned? And maybe moved to Grand Hall? Idk.

  6. Due to recent discussion on the topic of the history of Reborn and various episode releases, I had the idea to make this topic. Below, I've listed the dates of the releases of all of Reborn's current episodes, or eras. I just thought it would be fun to see where we all fit in the timeline of the Reborn game and who our peers are. Just post which Episode date you fall under and I'll try to keep the list updated with everybody. Also, let me know if you'd like to be added under a past name or something. To get things started, I came to Reborn during Episode 9. The Beginning of Time (Pre Reborn Game) Episodes I - V Episodes VI - X Episodes XI - XV
  7. WTC time! Since nobody got yesterday's character, today's comes from... me... again... Because of this streak, I've made today's character VERY gettable. First to answer correctly chooses tomorrow's character. Who's that character? http://i.imgur.com/bWPh3OT.jpg

  8. Arkhidon "You mentioned 'the Awakened'. Who.. or what are they?" Ms. Archer smiled as she leaned back in her chair. Her hands were clasped, and she was silent for a moment before speaking. "That's a deeper question than it may seem... But to put it simply, the "Awakened" is the term we have given to those like you -- people who were affected by the Pillar. For some reason, unknown to us, certain people began developing supernatural abilities after the emergence of the Pillar. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to who is affected and who is not. Even with the Pillar under our control for all this time, we've learned almost nothing..." She sighed. "The events of last night weren't the only reason I called you here. I received a request from Olympus this morning -- Zeus, in particular. He wanted to know if you would like to accompany the remaining members of Olympus on a mission today. He said that it's no problem if you refuse, but he wanted to see for himself why Hades chose you." She leaned forward, a serious look on her face. "It really is something special, though. While Hades may be... unusual, to say the least, he was one of the highest ranking individuals here. Despite that, we don't normally allow him to work with anyone outside of Olympus due to his... personality quirks. But in your case... Hades begged and begged for me to allow you to accompany him on that mission. Eventually, I allowed it, as long as you consented. Even I'm curious why he was so interested..." She waved the matter away. "Regardless, the decision of whether or not to accompany Olympus is your choice. I realize the events of yesterday may still be wearing on you." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hukuna Zeus pulled back the sleeve of his white suit, revealing an expensive-looking watch underneath. "It's about time," he said, looking over to Poseidon, who merely nodded and stood. He returned his gaze to Viktor. "Ares, would you accompany us? We're heading over to the main government facility. If the meeting with Ms. Archer goes well... we may have ourselves a temporary member of Olympus for today. Keaton Aome... I believe you know him. He was recruited to the government research facilities the same day that you joined us..." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Organization The Magician chuckled. "Well, it seems you've all come to know each other pretty well. I suppose you had to, with the speed events have been moving lately. Regardless, I suppose we should get this mission underway. I'd like to be home in time for dinner." He chuckled once more, before heading towards the doorway. "I suppose we should go meet up with Blue then." Mike and Wolf stood as well, making their way out the doorway silently. *** Blue looked at those gathered in front of him. He was dressed casually, in a blue Hawaiian T-shirt and khaki shorts. He smiled. "Are you all ready to go, then? There's no turning back from here."
  9. Vayne fell to his knees, his hand loosening its grasp on his sword. His cloak felt tighter than usual -- that was his first thought as he began to die. He could feel the arrows piercing his torso, his clothes pinned to his body and sticky with blood. He could see the general standing above him, grinning like a madman as Vayne's life seeped out of him. There was something resting in his arms... it was... a body. A female body... Lyra. The name came to him suddenly. And just as suddenly, everything came back to him in those last few moments. That was Lyra, laying dead in the general's arms. The arrows came from the men he fought alongside, though they were not his allies. He had tried to kill the general... that was all he had wanted before dying. Revenge. And he had failed to obtain even that. He would be remembered only as a traitor, the man who slew his entire city for one girl. And a girl he had failed to save. He watched her body fall from the general's arms as his eyes closed for the final time. He could feel himself falling forward. And the arrows... There were so MANY. Their bodies hit the pavement together, the life gone from both of them. And that was the end of Vayne. ...Or so he thought, as his consciousness came to life once more. He was remembering everything, and that had been the final event. But if that was the case, how was he here, thinking and remembering it all? He felt a tugging sensation, a pulling of his very lifeforce as he was sucked out of this void in which he was trapped. Moments later, his eyes opened again, for the first time since his death. It was strange to even think those words. He was in the familiarity of his own body once again. His cloak was loose, as it usually was; the arrows were gone. Yet, he still felt a dull ache in his chest; the ache of regret. He had forsaken everything for her, and had failed anyway. Despite his "talents," he had been unable to save anything when the time came. He had instead become the villain. He fell to his hands and knees as memories of her surged through him. What he would give to see her one more time... He could feel the tears coming as he looked towards the ground, but he fought to choke them back. He could hear a clicking... somebody was coming, but he didn't care. What point was there in trying to protect his life anymore? He'd lost everything. The clicking stopped just in front of him. Vayne did not look up; he remained staring at the violet stones beneath him, waiting for death's swift sword to end him once more. It didn't come. He heard the voice before anything else. "I am the Lord in Violet... Who may you be?" Vayne looked up, seeing the man in the purple cloak. Lord in Violet indeed... He stood slowly, adjusted his own cloak, a deep green in color. "My name is Vayne." He paused for a moment, before adding, "Vayne, the Traitorous Hero."
  10. Title was not witty enough. 0/10 I figured I should make it a point to link as many new members as I can to the important stuff. So here you go. Anyway, I like to think we're a pretty friendly bunch, so you should have no problem finding your place here. I host "Who's that Character?" every day in my status update, so look out for that if you'd like to test your knowledge of random character silhouttes. Other than that, enjoy your time at Reborn!
  11. Durango returned his sabers to their sheathes on his back. This hunt was finished. The Diablos lay motionless on the ground, its once fearsome form now still. Durango reached down to his belt, finding his hunting knife and removing it from its holster. He began to carve the body, taking everything of value that he could carry. He could see Val Habar on the horizon, and these resources would buy him a warm meal and a place to stay. Not to mention that he'd be left with a comfortable amount of change in his pocket. When he had finished, he turned towards the city. The sun was setting on the horizon, casting a glare into his eyes. He tipped the brim of his hat low and pulled up his bandana as he made his way towards his new home.

  16. OMFG LAST GUARDIAN FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...Sorry for that, but I've been waiting for this since 2010, and it's been my most-hyped game for that whole 5 years. It looks absolutely AMAZING, and now I'll HAVE to buy a PS4 by 2016. I played both ICO and Shadow of the Colossus and LOVED THEM TO DEATH. SotC is my all-time favorite game right now, and I expect great things from The Last Guardian. I am literally so happy right now, I can't even explain it!

  18. I can do them all no problem with the D-Pad, but the control stick... I've tried it with Tekken before and it wasn't pretty.
  19. Oh boy... I don't have Ryu yet, but I just realized I may run into some problems when I download him... I always play fighting games with the directional buttons, not the control stick. I'll have to adapt, and it won't be fun...
  20. If I were to enter a tournament for this game, I'd likely use Pikachu, Ike, Palutena, Captain Falcon, Samus, or Marth (even though I think he sucks in this game. But he's my main man <3.) I haven't been able to try them out against anyone with a decent amount of skill at this game yet though, so idk for sure which one.
  21. WTC time! Today's character comes from Mumpelfink. First to guess correctly picks tomorrow's character. This one might be a bit more difficult, so if nobody gets it, I have an easier alternative for eaither later today or tomorrow. Who's that character? http://i.imgur.com/O3gtNgK.jpg

I really hope a sequel becomes a thing. Hell, I played the DS version AND the iOS version to death. A shame the iOS version doesn't work atm, I wanted to replay.

      Hiss13

I still have the DS game. Now I feel like cracking it open again and giving it another whirl.

Darn. I was late to the party. Totally knew this one :o

  22. I did. Guess that just shows how much exploration means to me in a game. Though that was a wall I didn't mind as much. Still bothered me though.
  23. Not all do. I don't mind if the limitation is a cliff or an ocean or something. Just when it's something that you should obviously be able to pass, like a hill or a short fence. (Or the worst case, invisible walls.)
  24. I just remembered the other thing I HATE in a game -- Invisible walls. I absolutely hate hate hate when it looks as if you could walk right over there, but you can't for no apparent reason other than an invisible wall. Also tied into this are unclimbable hills (which usually aren't even steep -- See Dark Souls and almost any other RPG for this hill thing.) and other things that should be passable. (Like a low fence that you could easily step over). I realize that the developers only have so much data to work with in a game, but I hate it when they show me that nice beautiful area that I can't explore because they want me to stay on this path. I guess I would just love for every game to be open world.
