  1. Sasha, who had been lounging around waiting for Sabia to arrive, got herself to the door. "Hey, welcome," she says as she opens the door.
  2. "Alright then. Oh, and will the talismans still be coming this evening?" she asks, mostly to confirm the times for all these things.
  3. "Simple curiosity really. That and it may not be a great idea to leave them around, though I'll leave that to you two," Sasha says, not particularly amused by the remaining mask. "Oh right, I still had to make a call about some materials I need, though I guess I can do that later. What are you two going to be up to now that this mess is dealt with?"
  4. "Well that was a nice change of pace I guess," Sasha remarks as she exits her bike, surprisingly free of injury given her most recent stunt. "You think any of their masks are lying around still?" she asks Aiko, wondering about the particular masks and whether or not they could be retrieved for...research.
  5. "Yahooooooooooooo!" Sasha yells as she's careening through the air. Getting her bearings once again, she sees the last two stragglers and decides to use her momentum to crash onto them, albeit in less spectacular fashion. She can just keep on the gas a bit and let gravity and her Requiem do the work of course correction to keep Aiko or Lucia from getting caught in the crossfire as much. Pretty much just fall on the two with Sasha's momentum. Good fight. World Line: 4 3 4 4 3 3 2 2 4 4
  6. Seeing that Luchador A has decided to pull out the stops, she decided that she would as well. "Aiko, when I get up to that luchador up there, activate those trap talismans alright. We're going to make a scene," she says as she revs her bike right towards Luchador B while firing off a large shot into the air. Once she hit the luchador, using some space manipulation, she hit full acceleration and flew right towards and through the bus, heading straight for Luchador A. "Let's see how you like this! Aiko!" she yells as she gets close, triggering the explosive shot as well once she hits the luchador, with the plasma shot fired earlier coming behind A. Alteration to 5, Accel Crash onto Lucha B through the bus and into Lucha A, pop explosive shot and hidden talimsan, and gonna borrow one of Aiko and Lucia's resolve to buff myself up. World Line: 4 3 4 4 [5] (6) 3 3 2 2
  7. Going through the leftmost passage, Myrdwyn went through the rather small corridor, Cadence in tow. Though she didn't run into any other skeletons or other such foes, the path she chose was quite windy, seemingly for a bit too long. Finally though, she found herself into a new room, with 4 other passages present besides the one she just came from. One of them was rather close to where she entered the room, and probably led back into the first, while the wall opposite of her had 2 passages rather close together. Finally, there was one more passage on the far right side of the room. And present in the room is a certain convoy man holding what looks to be some sort of shield. "Ah, I see you are alright...mostly," the man crones after seeing Myrdwyn enter the room. "How are you feeling incidentally?"
  8. The struggling skeleton could not defend against Myrdwyn's lance, and crumpled to the ground. The remains, and the axe as well this time, dissipated into shadows. A quick glance showed that no other skeletons were present or arriving from the other corridors, and Cadence was still on the ground, unconscious.
  9. Charging forward, Myrdwyn and the axe skeleton continue to trade blows, though Myrdwyn has a slight edge at the start. The armed skeleton attempts to make a wide swing, but Myrdwyn sees an opening and runs her lance right through, destroying the skeleton entirely, causing its axe to drop to the ground. Once again, Myrdwyn's lance emits a pale red light, and the skeleton's remains begin to dissolve into shadows, but do not reform. The remaining skeleton appears greatly agitated, and attempts to brandish the fallen skeleton's axe to fight back. Unfortunately for it, the weight appears to affect the skeleton somewhat, causing it to crack a bit, but it still attempts to make an aggressive stance.
  10. Moving in with her own spooky weapon, Myrdwyn and the skeleton engage in combat, with the two being surprisingly well matched at first. However, after a few exchanges, Myrdwyn manages to strike the side of the skeleton, sending several of its bones to the ground and causing her lance to emit a pale red light. The skeleton looks at its now missing arm, replaced by a swirl of shadows, and begins to take an annoyed, aggressive posture. Meanwhile, the scattered bones begin rising up, surrounded by shadows not too dissimilar from the ones that replaced the skeleton's arm. The shadows eventually form an unarmed skeleton, who proceeds to take an aggressive stance, taunting Myrdwyn. Perhaps due to the lack of an axe, or perhaps due to the nature of its formation, the unarmed skeleton seems notably weaker than the other. Regardless, the two stare down Myrdwyn, ready to continue the fight. -------------------------------------------- When Belros attempted to open the box, the gem on its top cover began to shine for a moment, before quickly fading. Try as he might, Belros could not get the box to open,
  11. With the telekinesis wearing off, Sasha attempts to turn the tables slightly, warping the missile past Sasha and aimed towards the Luchador A, while also warping past Aiko to avoid hitting her. The gases that are beginning to form seem problematic, so she sets her sights on the gas mask, forming her rifle and firing off a Plasma shot at the gas mask. World Line: 6 4 3 4 4 5 6 3 3 (4)
  12. "I will keep that in mind," he chuckled a bit before opening the door, causing a flash of light to envelop the group. ----------------------------------- When the light subsided, the trio found themselves in a moderately sized, featureless room. There were two corridors on the frontmost and rightmost walls, though nothing to indicate where they've been. The air in the room however felt thick, and Myrdwyn would find herself somewhat nauseous, a bit disoriented, and also...lighter for some reason. Looking around, she would also find that the convoy man was not present in the same room. Looking to find Cadence, she finds that she is indeed in the same room. However, what she finds is Cadence being assaulted by some...skeleton like specter with an axe, who with a single swing knocks Cadence unconscious. After the initial target has fallen, the skeleton turns its attention to Myrdwyn, and begins posturing aggressively.
  13. "What's done is done. Now's not the time to worry about what has passed. Right now, we should focus on what we should do from here on. And don't worry Bel, I believe that when the time comes, you'll be able to confront Rico and put an end to this," Madante says in an encouraging voice. ---------------------------------- "There exists a certain set of islands, known for their strange magical properties. The labyrinths within them are said to hold all sorts of treasure of old, but they are by no means an easy thing to traverse. The layouts change constantly, and mapping a given floor is meaningless. It seems that someone who lived here knew about those islands, and hid something here by recreating one of those labyrinths," he explains in a droll voice. "The orb you hold appears to be the key that allows entry, though it seems to not activate unless the path to the labyrinth is found as well. That would explain why the others could not find it," he finishes, as the trio heads down the stairs, eventually reaching an ominous looking door. "One more thing, the labyrinths are known both for their ever changing layout, but also the magic within them. The exact effects can vary, but you won't know quite what they are until you enter. With that said, are you two prepared to enter?"
  14. "I'm here to make sure neither of you get in over your heads and get into too much trouble. Among other things of course," Yuel responds in a neutral tone as she walks towards the two. "One such thing involves my research to a degree, and for that my light magic must become more applicable. Then, well..." she begins to cackle just a bit before clearing her throat. "Well, hopefully you two will get to see the fruits of my research at a later time. For now though, we have other matters to attend to," she finishes, staring at the guards by the port. Move to O10
  15. Coming down the stairs, the pair find the convoy man situated in front of a fireplace at the back wall of the main floor. As he looks over the pair as they come towards him, he sees the orb that Myrdwyn is carrying. "Ahh, so that must be the key. And this here is the gate," he crones, turning towards the fireplace. As Myrdwyn and Cadence approach the fireplace, the orb in Myrdwyn's hand began to emit a stronger light, and a stairway began to form inside of the fireplace. "So this must be the path hmm? No wonder they couldn't find it. Now then, let us investigate," he crones as he starts walking down the stairway. ------------------------------ Seeing Belros in the state he was in, Madante could do nothing but stand beside him. He wanted to try and console him in some way, but couldn't find the words that could be of use. Eventually though, he decided to speak. "Belros...I'm not sure I can really give words of comfort now, all things considered. But what I can say is that even after everything that's happened, Randel had faith in you. He probably believes that you will be someone who is able to take the name of the Silver Ravens. I also think he believes that you'll be able to confront that Rico character in time. So for now, grieve, but don't fall into despair. And don't forget that you have friends willing to help you out. Alright?" he says in a more somber tone than usual.
  16. "I do not know anyone off the top of my head with mental powers, but even I did I'm uncertain that attempting to read the mind of a servant would go over well," Ritsu replies, concerned as to how Lancer could respond, even if she was in a plush form. "And given that Lancer in this form is capable of some movement, a touchpad device would likely be the least likely to cause any notable issues, and would allow for more proper communication, even if it's a bit slow," Ritsu finishes.
  17. "Even still, having allies around you that can help you is a much more desirable situation than being all on your own," Yuel responds as she moves closer to Bea, scoping out the damage her magic caused. "Regardless, good work you two," she says in a gentle voice. Move to O8, Elizabeth Move to P8
  18. "Well, friendly faces are always welcome," Yuel mutters to herself, moving towards the mage in the trees. "For now, let's continue cleaning up the stragglers here." Move to M8, zap the Mage
  19. Scanning through the papers, Cadence finds the name "Wanu Isles" present, along with notes about how the cave systems are infused with some magic that makes navigating them unnaturally difficult. Most of the notes are scribbles about ways to keep track of one's location and how to escape the labyrinth if need be. While Cadence looked over the papers, the spirits shifted around, though there was a small glass orb sitting on a table that they seemed to move around. Suddenly, the orb began to emit a pale purple light, and the pair felt a small shake in the building, though nothing in the room seemed to change. After the shaking stopped, a voice called up to them. "Myrdwyn! Cadence! Come down here, and bring any strange objects you found with you," said the voice downstairs, belonging to the convoy man. You aren't quite sure what specific strange object he's referring to, but the orb seems suspicious enough. ---------------------------------------- "The last mission eh? Sounds good to me. Make sure to give Rico what's coming to him." he grunts, a smile creeping on his face. "And before I drop on ya, there's a bit of a tradition in our guild. Since you're going to be taking up the mantle, I better give you this," he groans, grabbing a small, ornate box from his person and handing it to Belros. "Consider this the treasure of the Silver Ravens of sorts. Supposedly it grants strength to those who need it, but I've never managed to get the thing open. The old boss before me said that it only grants strength to the truly worthy, but he didn't explain what that meant to me. Doesn't matter now, what does is that this goes to your hands," he says with a smile. "The Silver Ravens are in your hands now boy. Make...us proud," he says before slumping back, his eyes closed.
  20. "Actually, though she is currently in a plush form, this indeed is the servant Lancer. As for how we got her in this form, you may want to ask Dackly about it for proper details. As for my request, we mainly need something that can let her communicate in a way that isn't a series of yes or no head nods. As effective as it can be, it's quite limited in what can be conveyed," Ritsu explains. "As such, a small device that she could use that can communicate for her in some fashion would be quite welcome. Does that help?" she finishes, tilting her own head slightly.
  21. "At least we agree on one thing," Ritsu mutters before looking about for anyone who she thought might be able to assist her in getting something that can help Lancer communicate with the others. She figures that it can at the very least allow for eventual negotiations at some point, even if right now she's reluctant to aid the group. After a bit of scanning, she eventually finds Edmond nearby a bus, and decides that he will at the very least be of some help. "Hello Edmond. It's been some time since we've talked last. Incidentally, you wouldn't happen to have any devices that can assist with communication would you?" she asks, holding up the plush Lancer. "We've agreed that at the very least, a better system than nods would be beneficial for communication."
  22. "I see. I half hoped it may be possible to find a means of forming a contract between the two of us, but it seems that forcing the issue now may not work out for anyone. Oh well," Ritsu remarks, somewhat disappointed. Even still, she held some hope that circumstances may change, or at the very least Lancer assisted with information. While still occupied with that thought, Ritsu decided to ask two more questions before seeking out someone. "Last few questions for now. In the event that circumstances demand it, are you willing to assist us with information at the very least, given your current state. And regardless of the answer to that question...would you prefer a device to help you better communicate in general outside of nods?" she asks, finishing her inquiry for the moment.
