  1. "Alright" Sasha responds, trying to drive closer to Immanuel while avoiding line of sight with Cu and keeping an eye out for any incoming fire.
  2. "Hmm...very well, I might as well see what else you can create," Ritsu remarks after hearing Mar's intent to cook. "Also, I can give a report on the edibility if you really want one Edmond," Ritsu replies indifferently as she checks up on Lancer here and there while also poking around with her armor.
  3. Hearing of the nature of Mar's ability once again, Ritsu is reminded of some materials that she acquired in the past. Once she finishes scanning all the tablets and recording their information, she goes back to Mar. "Mar, I also possess some materials that may prove interesting. They aren't diamonds, but I feel that there may be some merit in examining them," Ritsu announces, pulling out a precursor orb. "Also, out of curiosity, is your material analysis limited to metals, or will it work on more organic substances?" Ritsu then asks, reminded of some other materials she possesses.
  4. "Truthfully, expanding my medical capabilities would merely be an extension of an existing skillset within me, rather than replacing any other skills. It's more a matter of reordering priorities if anything," Ritsu explains. "As far as materials...magical metals, mana sources, or other such things would be useful to examine and take notes on. Furthermore..." Ritsu stops as she begins looking over Mar's stone tablets. "I'm going to spend some time looking through these tablets. Though I may not be able to perform the skills required to act on this knowledge, being aware of it could be of use if I need Mar's services in the future," Ritsu finishes as she starts scanning through all the tablets present.
  5. "It's hard to say for sure. I wasn't exactly designed to do things like this, nor do I have that much information on this sort of matter. However, I can say with confidence that I can determine when the treatment is complete. So until then, we will just have to wait," Ritsu explains before tilting her head. "Perhaps I should respec myself so that I can better perform magical treatment operations? Well, I don't have the exact materials to do such a thing often, but being capable in such a field would be quite useful. Hmm..." Ritsu mutters, mulling over her options as her tail sways.
  6. With the energy in hand, Ritsu applies it to Lancer, making sure to observe the corruption and how it responds. And fortunately, it does appear to affect it, although slowly. Lancer herself starts to appear woozy and asks for an explanation, which Ritsu provides as simply being the side effects of a treatment for an abnormality inside of her. Once applied, she looks over to Mar. "The good news is, this treatment is effective, and should deal with the corruption. That being said, the process will likely take some time, and a few more treatments, but it should work in the end," Ritsu explains to him and the others around.
  7. "I see. Well it's worth a shot I suppose. I'll monitor Lancer to see whether any changes occur with her. Let us proceed," Ritsu remarks as she calls for the energy mass.
  8. "I see. It sounds like us cooperating with Lancer is not an impossibility then. Rather..." Ritsu pauses before performing a quick scan on Lancer, and sure enough finds a source of corruption, a group of tendrils poking into her spiritual core. "It seems there is a need to deal with this 'god', though magical purification isn't exactly my strong suit, nor do I have any materials on hand that can handle such a matter," Ritsu remarks before looking at Mar. "Mar, would you happen to have a substance that can absorb corruption or purify an entity? Something like that could help with removing the corruption in Lancer."
  9. "Truthfully, I'm uncertain as to the exact details of the corruption but...I may be able to search for it, though I can't guarantee success. Anything past that I cannot say. Entities such as this aren't something I've come across much in my life," she responds before waiting for Lancer's response, which will likely affect future actions.
  10. "Ah, the holograms seem to work perfectly," Ritsu remarks after seeing the letters pop up finally. She's also pleased to hear that Lancer feels more to her original form now before thinking on her last question. "Truthfully, I'm not entirely certain. Right now, the grail is no longer present, and you are able to sustain your own existence. Granted with your current form, the things you can do are...limited. As such, provided you were to accompany us, I would take measures to alleviate that, if only slightly. Naturally during that process I'll listen to any requests or accommodations you may desire, but this is only provided you decide to join us." Ritsu states before pausing as she recalls an earlier remark. "Once before, you mentioned that God was in control of your actions. Right now, who is in control of your actions?"
  11. "Well, good news Lancer. Better means of communication are here," Ritsu mutters as she sees Mar and Edmond make up some useful means of communication. Thinking about the two, Ritsu feels that the holograms may be more beneficial at this time, though the audio setup should be useful for something later on. "Mar, let's try out the hologram device first. That seems like it may give us the most direct interpretation of Lancer's thoughts."
  12. "One of the servants, Lancer, was changed into a plush by the efforts of Dackly. Right now, I'm attempting to implant a core that should stabilize her mana since the grail is no longer present," Ritsu briefly explains before making an incision in the now unconscious? plush Lancer. She quickly realizes however that she'll need to make space for said core after she makes the first incision. Noticing this, Mar provides extra fabric, which Ritsu used to make the space. If there was any side effect, it was that her plush chest would become a bit bigger, but that was a matter for another time. She manages to finish the operation just before Lancer regains consciousness, and does a quick scan to confirm that her condition is stable. "Good, the operation was a success. Now Lancer should be able to maintain herself. Now then...we don't have LOTUS around sadly, so simple questions will have to do. If you can hear me fine, nod if you feel ok, shake your head if you feel weird at all, and if you're anywhere in between...just stare at me while I try to figure out a better means of communication."
  13. "That sounds fair, though I must wonder whether or not Lancer feels pain in this form or how an anesthetic might work on her," she responds, looking at the plush Lancer with a curious gaze. "I can't say that Lancer doesn't have her own thoughts, but it's a bit of a shame that she can't voice them right now. Though realistically she would be screaming at us to not poke at her while she's like this. Regardless, once it is done, you'll have a new shot at existence, though I'm unsure if you'll get a normal body back. Either way, we'll make sure the substitute is suitable and to your needs," Ritsu mutters, speaking in a voice that only the plush Lancer could hear.
  14. "Hmm...though it's technically a stretch of my abilities in some respect, I could implant it into Lancer myself. Though given her origins and what she is now, I'm not entirely sure it will go as planned but...I'll manage somehow," Ritsu replies as she takes out equipment that would be more fitting in a surgery room than an engineering bay. "Also Mar, I'll wish to request some various samples from you once this is finished. But for now, we'll be implanting this sphere into Lancer? Or should we make further preparations?"
  15. Ritsu eyes the Lensite with curiosity, noting its properties as she hears the explanation of its function. It certainly sounds like it would be a good means to store mana for Lancer to be sustained, and seems to be reproducible. "This looks like it would be quite handy. Its flaws are that it has the properties of glass, but is it possible to reinforce it or protect it in some sort of shell? Furthermore, how would we go about attaching it since she is still a plush at the moment?" she asks, hoping to get a better idea on the steps needed to continue.
  16. "Noted. Let us begin the experiments then," Ritsu announces before running her tests on the metals. Due to their properties of gripping mana, her scans have a hard time reading through their magical properties. Running a current through the normal ore showed the conductive properties of silver, while the tainted sample had less conductivity, but started to heat up. Ritsu kept a note of that while Mar assisted in her scans. All that got her however was that there was a corrupting element in the tainted sample. "It seems that there's a corrupting element present in the tainted ore, though I need more data to identify it further. As for the other sample, it appears to be normal enough compared to regular silver, though it holds onto magic quite tightly," Ritsu announces. "Tainted ore aside, there are a few things I'd want to make with the pure ore, one of which hopefully being a device that can store magic for an entity," Ritsu finishes, holding up the still plush Lancer to indicate her intentions.
  17. "Greetings Edmond. Mar and I were attempting to figure out how to handle this ore. Mar brought it in and it apparently has some capacity to restrain magic which has me interested. Thus, we will attempt to process it, but our options seem limited," Ritsu explains before tilting her head. "I can cut it, run electricity through it, and attempt to influence its magic if it possesses its own, though I'm not sure how much that will be of use. For now, cutting it may be an acceptable start unless anyone else has better methods," Ritsu finishes, looking at Mar, Edmond, and the newcomer in the bay.
  18. "Grip and restrain magic you say?" Ritsu asks as she stares at the ore. A source of magical energy would probably be needed to sustain Lancer's existence here, and the ore sounds like it could be a perfect material. "I'm interested. I've been looking into a way to keep Lancer around now that the grail has been taken care of, but I didn't have any good materials for it. Is there any more work that needs to be done on the ore?"
  19. "Hello to you," Ritsu responds to the newcomer before looking at the ore he has with him. For her project, she did need some more materials, so her interest was raised slightly. "That's a large quantity of ore. What sort of properties does it have?" she asks, putting the plush to the side for a moment.
  20. Ritsu Having finished their business, Ritsu heads towards the engineering bay before pulling out the still plush lancer and observing it. It seems to still be active, but given that the grail is no longer present, she's unsure on how long it will stay that way. While she's thinking, she starts shifting through her belongings to see if she can find anything that may be useful.
