That's a nice theory for the legends, but I really don't think any of them have that omnipotence to materialize themselves elsewhere while being caught by you..I mean it would be nice if they could, it would explain being able to capture "godly" pokemon indeed, but it's more probable that gamefreak didn't really think that far and just let you catch them for dex and usage's sake.. I'm pretty sure the logic behind that is to adjust the stats to the nature of the pokemon and what role it was meant to play (the prime example was shown in the anime iirc, with the decent speed turtwig of ash evolving into a slow grotle, leaving ash to get used to having a slow mon for once) Needless to say, not all cases of that happening are good decisions, but that was their aim I guess

As for the text, well you know, in the game, text is presented in smaller blocks as opposed to a giant wall ;o the visual difference often can stimulate or put people off from something. Worry not though, The game text itself shallt not be an issue for me
