This is a tad random but after seeing the SunMoon character called Kukui, I more-or-less- immediately thought back to Desolation's Kuiki

You can tell they intended pokemon to be on a more serious note from the start before they got all those complaints (probably) What with blatantly having lavender town and the whole story surrounding it, also things like Hypno that lure little children or dream-eating mon.. The dex entries overall also give off that vibe. They had death and implied + avowed murder in Kalos, so they might actually slowly start including these things. At least I really hope they do. I guess you mean Yokai Watch. Personally I've only heard of that thing, never experienced it, but I've seen some pictures and it doesn't look like it has anything on pokemon, but hey, if they wanna outperform it, they better step up their game and deliver something of gen 5 quality.. There was something connecting the Kalos starters (the themes of knight, wizard and ninja + being 2x SE vs each other ) so it's still possible in some distant warped parallel universe. People around forums are pointing out a supposedly common store sign in the jap trailer that says "children left unattended will be sold as slaves". While that's likely a joke thing, imagine an evil team of cultists (yes, I'm still on that :[keepitclean]: ) that want to enslave children and sacrifice them to the sunmoon gods for some crazy ritual

I already expressed my disappointment in this looking like a Hoenn clone..There's only so much one can do do make tropical regions not look like clones.. But hey, here's hoping they surprise us... I just read on Serebii that apparently, europeans get the game 5 days later than everyone else...again..wonder what's up with that

So were X and Y, apparently. Just looked at my Pokemon Y box and it has a pegi 7, even though I see Pegi 3 box images on google.. though if you think about it.. Kalos is dealing with mass murder, child abandonment, divorce, implied kidnapping, orphans and such, even if most of that is from random or not-so-random npcs

from the shape of it, Alola is apparently based on Oahu It's quite possible that we get to sail out to the rest via that harbor/dock thing we see in the "big" city

That's why I hope it's not the entire thing we'll play through. This one looks like it can at most hold like 3 gyms... Maybe we get to play on ALL the hawaiian islands? Or some of them

Ok wellp..... I guess I'm gonna be the only one that's quite disappointed by what I saw 1st. I pray to Arceus that there's character customization because the female trainer looks terrible to me... not to mention it seems like they reverted back to being 10year olds as opposed to the older 15-16 year olds... Your rival seems like another boring Brawly-type of character 2nd. The region is without a shred of a doubt- Hawaii. To me it just looks like another Hoenn with nothing but water and grass in it, bar a few cities.. I'm quite disappointed with that, but there's always hope there's more than meets the eye. The region map looks pretty small and I don't see that hotel thing anywhere so maybe it's not the whole region... (I'm just grasping at straws here) 3rd. Starters... I haven't debated with myself which starter I dislike the least since Sinnoh... Before seeing their evos, they all look bad to me, but I'd consider the owl or the cat... I hope they evolve into something cool. 4th. Legendaries.... Both look disappointing to me, I guess it was really as simple as translating the trademarks for legends AND starters... meh. I still prefer the moon..bat? Thing? Whatever it is 5th- Well the only positive thing I saw in all this is the advanced battling mechanics and the overall world graphics. We are going from sprites to actual models fulltime now. That's the best thing in that trailer Final thoughts- this is where I'm gonna stop spoiling myself with leaks and pray to the higher powers that I somehow by some miracle get pleasantly surprised with something that won't be as bad as it looks at first glance, such as a story more epic than BW/2.. But yeah, hope dies last, ne? Dual region hopes are also shattered at this point but never stop believing until it's set in stone. All in all, from this trailer alone, while it's premature to judge it, it feels like they seriously delivered a mediocre thing considering we had a full empty year before its announcement Party pooper out

I've watched some playthroughs of Insurgence and the story looks interesting enough, even if it's not as engaging as Reborn as already stated. I like the idea of a cultist-ridden world and that kind of stuff. I also like the unique features of the game but I'm not a fan of the battle backgrounds and the one thing I really dislike is the design of like 95% of the delta pokemon. That really puts me off from playing it myself. The concept is cool but the design to me is most of the time atrocious so wellp.. I tend to not play fakemon fangames for that same reason as well

Vice's costume sprite resembled sparkly circus star stuff from the front to me, I got confused for a bit there But holee sheet, dood, you never rest, do you? That's a crapton of stuff this game's gonna have, all the more hype for when it's complete

He's been ending his posts with "ciao" at least ever since the sunmoon announcement for may 10, but who knows. At this point I'd take anything over Hawaii As for now, all aboard the hype train folks, our destination's but a few hours away

Masuda is hyping this announcement every day so really, nobody should be surprised if we get legends, starters AND a first look at some areas of the region

Steel was definitely badass, and at the same time you can see that we really need more steel types

Try Desolation. It doesn't have as much content as Rejuv or Reborn but it's worth it P.S. they are not rom hacks but fan games made from scratch
