Give me all the raccoons pls. Zigzagoon is a very poor excuse. For all we know, litten may evolve into a sabertooth later on... but so far Raikou is the closest thing we have. I think all the fossils so far are of dinosaur-ish creatures, or really really prehistoric bugs/sea things . We did have tirtouga tho.. who knows, maybe we'll get to see a different trend. Sabertooths are cool anywayz I'm not fond of mammoths so ehh to those but yea, maybe we could use a better elephant representation

Please, I would actually want a female-oriented branch evo for scyther..I mean, the mantis is kinda symbolized by the power of their females, eating the male's head after sex and stuff.. would make sense... sides, scyther and scizor don't really look.... like your usual mantis..more like mutant mantis

Ain't no pure true armadillo dood. It's some mix of pangolin/shrew/armadillo (even according to bulbapedia), but we all know a pure armadillo wouldnt look like that, just like a pure lynx wouldnt look like a lion and a pure wolf wouldnt look like a manectric

Back when I was around 10-11, I encountered the johto seasons of Pokemon on a german channel called RTL2. All I knew of Pokemon then were johto/kanto pokemon in German. Soon after, my country started kind of getting into the pokemon hype by introducing the kanto season on tv every saturday and sunday, along with putting out some pokemon franchise like pikachu plushes, sticker albums and spheric badge thingies in chips/snacks. It wasn't really widespread but it's how it started for me, with Johto. Eventually my parents bought me a gameboy color for christmas with a pokemon crystal (bootleg, pirated version cuz my country sucked that way) cartridge. And thus, I learned about the existence of pokemon games as well. It was the first ever rpg I played and had no clue how to even leave my room for half an hour, but yeah, all in all, my Pokemon fandom started with Johto and THAT is my nostalgia gen rather than kanto.. Never liked kanto and never will but aye

It most definitely is not based on a shiba inu, and not even bulbapedia acknowledges that it is Neither sandshrew nor sandlash are armadillos or echidnas, we don't have a true armadillo mon and we need one (almost as much as we need a true wolf) Alpaca mon or Llama mon would be nice indeed

Ah yeah, there was that one , but it turned water/ground as early as becoming Marshtomp, so it made more sense I think. I guess if they reveal the second evolutions of these starters, we'll know in what direction they're going

It's actually just a female swimmer/beach lady you see on the beach.. The female trainer does in no way look that grown-up and still wears the chicken hat. It's confirmed that there's customization though, so maybe we WILL be able to take off the hat this time around And yeah, walking animation is rather awkward but hey, it's their first one so.. they'll improve The only reason people think popplio will be fairy is because it learns disarming voice at lv8.. I don't know any starter that learns the move of its future 2nd typing so early on, so I wouldn't take it so seriously. Of course lookin at popplio, it resembles a future water/fairy pretty well, so I'd sooner believe that over water/fighting.. And the cat is black, leaving ppl to think it'll be fire dark later on.. That's..well... here's hoping.. I prefer that to fireground or firefighting.. And not every region has a fire fighting pokemon..does it? I don't think Kalos had one, or maybe I'm forgetting a mon

Well, there's a sliver of hope considering game footage is not final as of yet.. But what we saw during E3 showed that your own rival, a key character, is just as soulless as you, and only has a command+idle thinking animation during battle.. No reaction to pokemon reaching red HP or fainting or critical hits or being down to their last pokemon.. I believe they meant the overworld NPCs because we did get to see a female swimmer just run out into the ocean near a slowpoke and stuff... AND yeah, Lillie definitely looks like somebody that belongs to a more posh place like Kalos, maybe even sinnoh. Here's a crazy theory- Bulbapedia lists that Cynthia has a younger sister- what if Lillie is that sister? They look close enough to pull it off.. It's completely random and out of the blue but hey, it'd be a nice tie-in for future Sinnoh remakes and whatnot

Wow^ On a side note, this is completely random, but I thought I'd share it. I had a dream last night that involved playing dream-version of SunMoon (Yes, I tend to have dreams about anything and they seldom get far too weird). The dream didn't feature much, but it did feature a list of the gym types and a dolphin 'mon This ain't mine or made by me, but it's more or less what the dolphin pokemon looked like in my dream (I just took the closest dolphin 'mon pic I found on google which resembled the dolphin pokemon in my dream and slightly edited and colored it from the original : http://i31.tinypic.com/fanlu.jpg ) So yea anyways, in my dream, the gym type color palette was void of green/yellow/redorange, so I assume there was no grass, fire or electric gym. I recall from my memory, there was a water gym (the second gym), possibly a flying gym (1st or 3rd), ghost gym (4th), fairy gym (5th) , ice gym (6th), dark gym (7th) and steel gym (8th) . I also recall there was no poison gym... shame. Can't recall the missing gym sadly. Random post end P.S. Is nobody else disappointed that the trainers in the background are only there for decoration, soulless beings inhabiting a hollow shell of a dead carcass, forever smiling, never-fliinching as their beloved pokemon are in critical condition or fainting??? It just seriously bugs me..and disappoints me. Furthermore, for all this "dynamic" addition to battles, key trainers still don't have special dialogue or reaction when they're down to their last pokemon... Sigh

Maybe while you're redoing stuff, you can also change them "x-years later" things

Beetle grub ^ Looks pretty much like grubbin irl Can't deny termites also look pretty damn similar to it, but if you google what a grub is, it's more specifically a beetle larva (to the scarab-ish family) . A termite might be cool, but I don't think grubbin will be it. Of course, grubbin evo line are not going to be the only bugs in the region so , you never know what Alola may bring next. They seem to be focusing on animals that are found in Hawaii so far though( even koalas) I half-expect a feral chicken-like pokemon

The only way it's N's daughter is if N married Concordia .. In pokemon, all relatives resemble each other via hair colors , eyes and seldom hairstyle is similar too. Lillie may play a role in the story in a different way than we think.. also I still think her design is very Kalos-like, so she may be our connection to a Kalos return or something It's been a while since we had branch evolutions, it wouldnt be bad to get another one of those

You'll find it hidden deep in the waters of alola Nah but really at this point I'm not super sure we'll see one.. At the very least I don't think they'll spoil it before release
