  1. I would just check the announcement ame put out when she uploaded 10.5 and check the list of changes but I don't think breeding mechanics were announced to be changed. Could be wrong worth a dig though
  2. Definitely not a gym leader in game though i think he is the new electric gym leader for the reborn league on PO ?

    Dragons!

If your really that afraid of dragons there are a plethora of fairy types available as well as the ever unpopular Jynx and engine of destruction that is Mamoswine. Weaker dragon types like noivern and Flygon don't really grab me as a reasonable answer.
  4. Team synergy analysis: 3 Hazard setters and 2 rapid spinners seems a bit excessive to me when there is no spin blocker? Try Air Balloon Aegislash over Metagross? To patch up that horrible Fire Weakness I would recommend Assault Vest Goodra or Tyranitar over Cloyster. Both these guys are superior SpecD. tanks over Metagross but it comes down to what you want to deal with when choosing. Goodra adds elemental resistances letting you take on things like Heatran and starmie better but Tyranitar lets you demolish Special Attacking dragons such as noivern and Latios while also providing a clean end to Talonflame and sandstorm residual damage. Playstyle: 2 Moves give you big trouble. Taunt because many members of your team are taunt bait. I would advise less status/hazard moves and more moves like Gyro Ball and volt switch. Defog: the bane of all hazard teams. To counter use a better mega evolution over aggron (one that punishes them for use it) like agility M-Amphy or just lure them out with toxic anhd momentum moves like volt switch on your hazard setters. Like your team though but i've been doing Gen6 stall for a while and know most of the problems you'll meet. Hope you like some of the ideas!
  5. I know there used to be a bug that prevented poke's from being bred with their 3rd ability, Couldn't find a recent post about it and was wondering if its been fixed? Example/current predicament: Male swanna with Roost and Brave bird breeds with prankster Murkrow. As murkrow has already got Insomnia and super (which i have about 20 babies with) can it be hatched with prankster? Edit: just after i post this on egg #21 I got that prankster murkrow! just bad luck.
  6. Good news: Alphagar is now a zombie and can take them down from the inside!
  7. Woah I never thought I would see anyone willingly use camerupt. Nicely done getting this far though! I think scrafty is a good idea and jokes aside diggersby>then all ground types in the game. If you don't don't have diggersby well...
  8. More Julia and shade! I also want to see rini break out of her shell just to smack ferns bitch ass around!!!

    Machoke

I think you have to evolve a machop and there are plenty of them in pyrous mountain on the floor you enter on!
  10. Yeah i would choose a Delphox otherwise your going to have too much trouble with Kiki, Corey and Aya. And I know this is a bit off topic and I don't know how the community may react to such a suggestion but if your really that bored you should have a look at Pokemon Obisidian by Atomic Reactor. The fakemons are pretty dope and its a really quality hack almost as brilliant as reborn!
  11. Definitely throw in honchkrow for the psychic gym but scrafty and pancham (10.5) would be great additions! I haven't played this far ahead but another Poke that i could imagine being useful is Drapion which you can catch as a skorupi in dozens of places. Bug types would be good for the 8th gym as well so have you considered Heracross or Pinsir? Personally feel bulbasaur is outclassed by the amazing roserade though mudkip is quite handy as a swampert. Lastly a bulky steel type would definitely be handy so have you thought about aggron? I know I recommended a lot of pokemon but having a flexible rotation makes this game so much easier!
  12. above 100 posts and I didn't even know you could buy things here... curious what more secrets you guys are keeping from this noob! moving on congratulations to the new mods and i'm looking forward to seeing the changes you all have in store for us! I thought it was British?
  13. 1st Super bowl impression Side note: I know he isn't the biggest celebrity player but I hadn't even heard the Derrick Coleman story until Sunday, how big is it in the U.S ? A mate showed me his add and I found myself with a soft spot for the Seahawks despite the Sherman Show.

    Getting Started

^thank you and will do I noticed that immediately but I figured it might be handy for other people that are interested so Ame doesn't wind up with constant message from people like me.
  15. To put it simply I would like to contribute to the development team but have no experience with this kind of thing. Wondering if anyone could recommend good sources to learn appropriate coding (I'm assuming C?) and programs to use?
  16. So its in C-code? i would probably have to learn from the start but thanks cobra. posted here because i thought the development team was smaller then it is
  17. Seeing as this thread is becoming both an "Ask Ame" and "Ame Appreciation thread" i've been inspired to inquire if you would like an extra hand with anything on the game development side of Reborn? I learn't HTML code a very long time ago though and will probably need some time getting up to speed (as well as balance between study) but if you want another hand to lighten the workload a bit i would be interested in learning everything and pitching in on odd jobs?

dammit rogenrolla's got changed and arent in the jungle caves anymore.... Anyone know if synchronize works on eggs?
  20. Been rocking a mono steel team on PO. Despite the tendency for everyone to think of steel as a defensive type I feel some of the best offensive Pokemon in the game are steel type. With so much power and coverage it really shouldn't go to waist. Team has weaknesses though and I'm keen too try and work out ways to fit Metagross and Scizor in so please feel free to comment and pitch ideas (the fact these two offensive behemoths are left out is a testimony to the offensive power of the steel type). Personality wise i would be something similar to Julia in reborn by blowing stuff up with chemicals (see breaking bad + fulminated mercury) as solution to everything while being more cut-throat and more business like. Lord Alchemist Heisenberg (I would also need an assistant, maybe a pokemon, to constantly abuse who goes by the name of pinkman) Steel Types Blade Badge TM 75 - Swords Dance North Peridot Ward ( why not) Klefki - Safety Goggles Dual Screen Spikes M-Lucario - Sword Dance Bronzong - Light Clay + Trick Room + Expolsion! Aegislash - Mixed set with Weakness Policy Excadrill - Life Orb + Sand rush + Sandstorm Heatran - Air Baloon + Stealth Rocks Thinking of changing Heatran to a choice specs set and swapping Klefki for mixed Metagross and lucario for M-Scizor
  21. I would like to summarise my early playthrough experience as A) Fairy types are close to useless early game due to the amount of poison types running round. It's not that Ralts, Azurill, snuball and Cleffa are bad pokemon but unfortunately there movepools are quite shallow and they lack designated targets until the fighting gym (even then the level cap stops them from getting useful moves). Though Kirlia & Clefairy come a bit handy as bulkish utility mons, ultimately I find them outclassed and there retyping does them no favours early game. I do see potential later on in the game but for the effort and time being as of 10.5 I feel they are C-class pokemon all for the same reasons. On another note I would like to nominate Bunnelby to S-Class. Comes at a great starting level, quick to evolve, fantastic ability and type and most importantly with a pick up team grabbing heart scales it has one of the best movepools early game. Diggersby Tho? jokes aside its a huge power monstrosity. If you haven't gotton through Berryl don't open this spoiler and i apologise if certain characters are based on real people, never meant to offend anyone but.... EDIT: With further play and more heart scales I find Gardevoir to be quite fantastic and with calm mind + moon blast it has become the go to wall breaker on my team. Also under appreciated the usefulness of teleport. Easily the best of the fairy types the only problem is getting it to that level which is a huge pain in the butt. Weak early game but powerful mid game that i would definitely suggest is worth bumping it up a tier to B-Class.
  22. As a Timberwolves and Manchester United fan its been a disappointing year to be a fan but chin up seasons aren't finished! As for the superbowel I usually go to /sp/ for NFL entertainment. A little politically incorrect but still lots better then the subliminal race war ESPN is trying to ignite. Seahawks are mad but will be rooting against that clown Sherman!
  23. Welcome newbie! I think I played you earlier today (repeatedly having M-Vena vs ditto) . Sorry for the stall fest, I wasn't concentrating due to a severe case of caffeine withdrawal. Moving on your art is fantastic and I think the overwhelming response from the community is well justified. Finally i'm looking forward to seeing more umbreons on PO!
