    Mudkip Breeding

Hey stiff I haven't checked properly but a quick skim made me think its possible. The game should let your pokemon breed TM moves and chain breed so just keep breeding growlithes with Mankey and electrike and etc. I'm thinking of trying this for a granbull haha
  2. Lots of study, bit of basketball. Me and the girlfriend bought a dog and called it growlie. my parents already know we are wierd so it was cool.
  3. Did it a while back but my team was set. Chucked in Dual Intimidate users (Arcanine & Gyrados) and used my non key pokes as death fodder tll he got to -6 and proceeded to destroy with my curse Torterra. Ice/Fire fang really didn't do much at -6.... Normally I am attentive to the dialogue but it didn't even register to me that i was supposed to lose. Kinda explains how he used a KO'd Garchomp to take Kiki out but does that change at all in the winning script now, like does he use a revive before he sends out Chomper?

    Nidoran F

The bulbapedia list is not 100% accurate to this game ShatteredSkys. Any move that is learnable as a TM can be passed down from the father even if it wasn't taught the move via TM but learned naturally. I recently posted asking about the same thing and found that out and tried it already. Yet to test this personally but i'm under the impression you can chainbreed TM learnable moves repeatedly from rumours i've heard. For example EQ is not available as a TM move in game yet but i bred my level 39 Geodude M with my crustle F and got myself an EQ crustle. Heard i guy took it one step further and bred an EQ dwebble with Trapinch? To get the moves you want Enkiao it's gonna take a bit of effort and you have to plan alot. For nidoran with those moves you could get the Flamethrower off Vulpix, Growlithe, Heatmor or Charmander if you have it. Thunderbolt use Pikachu. Icebeam you will have to chain breed like crazy as only remoraid, vaniluxe & Cryonagal and they are all in very different egg groups. recomend going Remoraid to Swampert to produce Mudkip with Ice beam then breeding that with Nidoran. Curious to see how you go and good luck!
  5. So in case you haven't seen my previous posts, i like breeding... alot... I think i read somewhere you can breed a geodude with dweble to pass on EQ which is straight up dope! Has anyone done this/can they confirm this for me before i start hunting for female dweble? And by extension does this mean any learnable TM move can be passed on regardless if it wasn't actually learn't through a TM? I would be keen as a bean to test this if nobody else has? (save me so much time for nasty plot riolu amongst other things) Also heard a rumour that swampert can breed with flygon....? has anyone experimented to figure out what egg groups are not finished yet?
  6. No idea, tried search engines myself with no luck. Ame the creator checks these forums frequently and will probably respond to your needs cause she's cool like that.
  7. I usually never get attached to starter pokemon but from personal experience Turtwig is highly recomended. This game requires you to use a variety of tactics as OU/more traditionally powerful Pokemon are rare and Curse Turtwig -> Torterra forms so many underated combinations with some of the Pokemon available such as Glare+Screech shed skin Arbok, anything with toxic spikes and more. I have probably rebuilt my team more then 10 times throughout this game and my only staple is Torterra, even through the Ice gym leader (despite the level cap, tort will outspeed and OHKO everything it needs to). Not to mention dream world abilities are available so Torterra is the most unhaxable curse booster (still be wary of freeze and paralysis though) that ever existed. Speed Boost Blaziken and Iron Fist Infernape are pretty OP but level caps will catch up to you fast and there are so many Fire types available that may not be as straight up powerful but provide some form of utility such as Drought Ninetales and Intimidate Arcanine.
  8. Yeah i found mine in the training grounds too. I'm curious if it is a semi-event pokemon though? has anyone caught more then one?

so episode 9 is coming real soon right ?
  11. 3 fighting type weaknesses and one resist + 2 ground weaknesses no resists are the only things that stick out to me. Based on team synergy Gligar & Gyarados really seems like a good fits for at least one slot. We also know there is both Fire and Water gyms to come so i would advise on getting more solid checks for both types as Empoleon is good but these gym leaders can be a bitch. From this i determine Gyarados > Gligar. If you decide to go down that path then you need to patch up your electric weakness (the doctor will be back) and more Rock resists, Brelooms good for that last slot for providing more team synergy! (Fuck flying types you got Stealth Rocks bitch!!)
  12. For Nuclear warfare see PULSE + Lickililly + STAB explosion = 1/3 of the planet as we know it gone. I can see every country in the pokemon world having one on standby.
  13. I'll stop bugging you after this haha but if speed is desired Flygon or Gligar would probably the best ground type available, comes with extra ground immunity over mudkip!
  14. im surprised nobody has said anything about toxic spikes? i literally have destroyed every gym leader and important battle except for Shade, Aya, Corey and level 75 Garchomp man by luring out and Ko'ing said poison types, then laying down the pain. looking at your team Rusty though our pokemon are different i think we used similar movepools and tactics. Cheers for not just relying on brute force! Sunny Day is also a key move against the last few battles in episode 8. No need to complain about Hax when blizzard accuracy is reduced to a reasonable level. As for team recomendations if you replace Zangoose and Donphan your left with Venasaur, Drapion, Gardevior and Magmar. Two Ground weaknesses with no resists and no Rock resists stick out first to me followed by the fact Venasaur, Gardevior and Drapion are kinda bulky pokemon that can abuse the t-spikes. I feel like Mudkip would be great adition to replace Donphan as you maintain all the power of the ground type, great synergy (3 grass resists, provides key Rock & Fire resists), while gaining a great tank, phazer and potential stealth rock setter. For the last slot ideally Rotom would be perfect as electric types are great t-spikes abusers and he is one of few electric types not weak to ground but if he isnt available then i would go for either Tynamo or magnet rise Magnemite. Mag comes with the added bonus of crushing steel types that may resist T-spikes though Magmar and Mudkip (if you go that way) got that covered.
  15. I don't think so but Ame said she would add Electvire to the obtainable pokemon list once an electrizer or at least some consistent method of obtaining electvire is available
  16. You need strength to finish the ghastly event so you need to beat her first.
  17. @Cowtao, Magnemite and Geodude will be boss against Aya. Probably in the place of Porygon and Accelgor however you would then have 3 pokemon weak to fighting and only 1 resist so i would recomend rebalancing your team with something like ghastly later. On another hand i found stealth rock and steel types far too useful in this game. For everyone else i was thinking to potentially make a rain team around my eevee (will breed for both vappy and joltein), torterra and Toxicroak. I was wondering if anybody else knew some rain abusers/strong setters in this game that i may have missed.
  18. @Ikaru & Ame, Cheers for the clarification and regardless of egg crashing i think that was probably the right move for a fanmade game anyways. Im pretty sure i've seen magic guard on an opposing kadabra Desper so im sure it exists.
  19. Hey so I know the game follows alot of gen 5 mechanics but i was curious what the mechanics for breeding abilities are in reborn? I've finished chapter 8 and I still feel like tinkering with my team and breeding some pokemon. More specifically I was curious if my female flash fire Vulpix can give me a drought vulpix amonst other experiments i have going on such as eevee breeding for hydration vaporeon and magic guard abra. Feel free to put up other ideas for interesting available pokemon and ability combos
  20. Hey people, my name is bear and i stumbled on this site while looking for advice to solve some side quests while playing pokemon reborn. I still don't know what this site is exactly but im sure someone will tell me. I'm in love with this game though cause in a wierd way i enjoy the fustration these puzzles/gym leaders give me a little too much. A little about myself, well I am a 20 year old male student from Australia. For fun i shoot hoops, play pokemon and watch Naruto. If it's cool with Ame i'd be keen to help put together some form of guide (full of spoiler seals of course) for the game once it is completed.
