  1. Drake didn't say anything on the subject and followed close behind Fria. Even though he was dressed quite heavily, he felt a small chill on the small part of his face he left exposed. He was not used to the weather and he could feel it. However, he did not complain as this was what he signed up for. Unlike most of the other trainers, Drake's Pokemon still remained in it's Poke Ball. His Pokemon was not made to move around like this, especially if a blizzard were to come.
  2. @Dobby: After the whole Timms thing with Richard, I knew I had to place Emelia in the same place as Richard. I love when Emelia's pride kicks in because it clashes well with Richards...ignorance? (can't think of the word). @Gotwala: It's all going to depend on the situation Dobby throws her in. If you want to ever bounce character development off of Emelia, go ahead. (I guess that could go for anyone else as well). @Charizard: 90% of my posts are pretty much straight improvisation. I always keep a couple ideas to pull back on, but that's about it.
  3. Yeah, you better be sorry. Emelia thought to herself. You have the nerve to call someone weak before you even see them swing a sword. Part of me wants to kick his ass right now. She quickly snapped out of her thoughts. No, that'll have to wait. I have to focus on the task at hand. I just pray it doesn't go south otherwise I might have to use this 'Gift' as they call it. She looked at her right hand before putting it back down. She headed out with the other policemen ready for some action.
  4. Go ahead and say something about to the tracker if you want. Paying attention to little things like that is just my writing style. Whatever you do, don't let Henry keep the tracker. I'd have way too much fun with that thing. Edit: So the Evan search group gets to go deeper into the forest facing who knows what, but the Group 2 search party gets to drive Henry up the wall.
  5. Henry shook his head for a moment. "I guess we're on the same page so there's no point in hiding it. You said that the tracker was on a Phanpy, correct? Just getting to that tracker would be a challenge because the group travels in the herd. Depending on the damage on the tracker, it'll give a general idea what kind of person did this. If it was tampered with, the group may have left a couple of fingerprints on it." Honestly, I'm not expecting to find anything. I just need slight evidence someone caused this. These Donphan were likely no more than a distraction so there's a chance they got careless. It's about time we see how good these shadows really are. Henry remained silent watching the bird fly off. He wasn't going to say his true thoughts because the less these two knew, the better.
  6. If the scenario comes up where she has to use it, she will use it otherwise she'll keep it hidden for as long as possible.
  7. Henry just wants to see it that's all. He's just trying to figure out who he's dealing with and that's only one of his two leads.
  8. You forgot about something. Ame has the power to make a field effect that has a perma-sandstorm that can never be broken.
  9. So there is something fishy about this. It's clear now people have been watching Evan, and likely others in the academy. There has to be something I can do to figure out who is responsible for this. Wait...that might work. Henry's eyes lit up when he came up with the idea. "Professor Cadmus, sir," Henry began. "You may not of realized it, but I have a gift for technology. I might be able to figure out what kind of 'hunters' we're dealing with if I take a look at the tracking device you mentioned. I know I'm in no condition to look for it, but could you send someone else instead to bring it to me."
  10. I believe episode 10 includes everything that episode one had (it would go up to Julia), but I joined around episode 6 (didn't create an account or was really that active). Probably the only memorable thing from the old version was the goddamn Fern with a Budew that used Growth and only Growth. Enemies would blitzkreig your Pokemon and completely ignore the Budew. Also, Abra was replaced with Litleo, and Julia had a Chimchou which actually was kind of challenging. (Then again, I had a Squirtle). You newcomers have it easy.
  11. I remember having that problem when trying to move around sprites from one folder to another. I remember the only way I fixed it is by using a clean Reborn Sprite folder and selecting everything in the Zeta folder outside of its fake megas and Shadow Pokemon (I deleted those) and sent them into the Reborn Sprite folder (a copy and paste). I suggest this method because you're going to have to redo this each and every episode that comes out (aka, have a folder location of the animated sprites you want to add). As for the Pokemon disposition, I would have to see a pic to see if that was an issue or not. The PC does occasionally crash, but it's been behaving a lot better. The only other big crash I remember is a trainer in Shelly's gym, but it's been changed since then. If you still come across problems, I will screen cap the exact steps I used to create animated sprites with Gen VI static images.
  12. Henry looked over to where Evan fell again. I've seen hunters before, but I doubt they're this good. Most of the time they're work is somewhat sloppy because they're usually unprofessional. This had to be planned especially with the tracking device disabled and the students coming were all in one spot. I can't even think of who. There has to be someone behind this because this is Cipher good. That boy who fell is my only lead. Whoever gave him that Water Stone may hold some answers. The boy snapped out of his thought realizing the two weren't going to leave him there. "Go ahead and call the paramedics if you have to. They'll probably end up saying I'm perfectly fine. Can I ask you something else? Have injuries like this ever happened on a trip before now? More recently to be exact."
  13. "Aye sir," Emelia responded. "I will prove myself to be worthy of such a task." She was rather surprised to be doing field work. This would be a rather unusual interview for her, but she loved the idea already. Since she always kept her equipment on, she was ready whenever everyone else was. Before Emelia could make another movement, she noticed Richard approach him with some materials. "...Why do you think so lowly of me? I was a mercenary before deciding to try this out. I've dealt with bar fights and gifted before so stop acting like I'm some little kid. If anything, you need to watch yourself and especially that fowl mouth of yours." She snatched the leather armor out of his hands. "I'll use my own weapons for this."
  14. The Reborn League is dead and been dead for quite a while now sorry to say. I remember a group trying to create something similar to the reborn league, but I don't remember much else on the topic.
  15. @Qaaz: I already have done it more than once and its worked fine for me outside of the PC crash (which happened before animated sprites were removed). Just always save before using the PC. It's just a pain in the arse to delete every single static sprite when most of them work fine from the merge. (I haven't tried Gen VI Models because that would be suicide on my computer). As for animated sprites, I'll eventually upload a complete one for people interested in them (I may include a couple of the Gen VI animated sprites). I'm waiting until Reborn is finished because I would have to completely redo it every episode.
  16. 1. I think that is a problem with the game normally (I remember that being something like that). Usually, it's hidden by a Pokemon HP bar, but I'd like to see a screencap if possible. 2. I'm guessing these are the Gen VI and Pulse Pokemon. You can fix this problem by highlighting the Gen VI Pokemon and placing them back into where the animated sprites are (they won't be moving though). The Pulse Pokemon are next to their respective Pokemon which are Abra, Muk, and Tangrowth. I tested this and it still seems to be working fine for me (I do it differently where some sprites are still static). If you're having problems, upload some pics and I'm sure I or someone else can fix it for you. Edit: The thing crashed on me...again. Now I remember why I stopped using animated sprites.
  17. Mr. Mime ain't creepy unless it's a female. Besides, there's a billion others who deserve that name more. How about a Squirtle named Turtle
  18. Make sure you have a backup copy of Reborn's sprites. (I'd use xpharetra's for this). Simply select all of the sprites in that folder and drag them into the reborn's one. Most of them should move with a couple of oddballs outside of Gen VI. You may have to delete the static sprites if a problem occurs. To answer your other question, Pokemon Essentials is a package used to make Pokemon Fan games or basically the foundation of most. Reborn uses this along with a few (more like a ton) modifications.
  19. You have to delete a couple of things like the shadow and fake Pokemon, but I have tried it and it worked. It's a bit of a pain, but it does work. You could also try these if you want. (It all comes from Esstentails anyways. http://xpharetra.deviantart.com/art/Pokemon-Essentials-Ulitmate-BW-Pack-7-314203957 with this one, just drag and move them to the sprites folder with the Pokemon in it (forget the name). I personally don't use animated sprites because it lags the game horribly. If one isn't moving, just simply delete the static one and it should work fine.
  20. Since they are part of the Esstentials Package, you can just look for them online and just download them from there. (Pokemon Zeta is a good place to get them from). Since Amethyst included Pulse forms, you're always are going to have some standstill Pokemon, but other than that, just simply replace the static sprites with the animated ones in the folder.
  21. “What’s wrong?” "Nothing in particular. I think my pride was hurt more than my actual body. Seems like I'll live. I do have to ask you something. Are Pokemon or wild ones in particular normally this aggressive? Sorry for asking, but I live in a region scarce of Pokemon so I'm not used to seeing groups of wild ones. I may have been hit a few times by a couple of Pokemon owned by trainers back in Orre, but I hope this isn't going to be a common scene." He looked up at the large dragon hiding his true concern. Before coming to the academy, he had an incident where he broke his ribs. Unfortunately, the Donphan had nailed him in the same place causing him to cough a little blood out. He just avoided confessing this concern to Devin because he was sure nothing was broken.
  22. There's no way of fooling this girl is there. I guess this paranoia finally paid off. Evan's Water Stone and Devin's reaction to the situation tell quite a story. Something's hiding in the shadows. I just can't...let anyone know. It pains me to let Danielle go through the same pain I did, but I have no choice. Henry remained silent a little while longer. "It's funny how well you're taking this. When I was in your shoes, I was angry at myself. So angry my friend had to hold me down. I know you're not going to leave me, and I'm going to keep trying to get back up, but that's just who we are. Just promise me one thing. Whatever happens to Evan, don't blame it on yourself. That's how I became the kind of person I am today." Henry gave a quick chuckle, mostly because it hurt. "I think I know the real reason I'm nice to you. Jealousy. You're able to not only face but overcome your past." Henry looked over to the Mawile and then back to Danielle. "Not only that but you always seem happy and energetic. It makes me wonder if I were willing to accept that incident wasn't my fault, I'd be living a life like that instead of forcing myself into solitude and misery." Zuko looked at Henry again. This time he seemed to have given up. His master was always so stubborn and willing to push himself. Why did he give up now of all times? This girl must've done something to him because this wasn't the Henry he knew. He then turned his remembering how he was a bit nicer to his old master. Oh how he missed her. This was no time to think about that so the Vulpix shook his head and focused his attention back on Henry. "If you need to check on your friends, go ahead. I'm not going to try anything and I sincerely mean it this time. Even if trouble were to come, I can handle it. Don't even let my condition fool you. I can move out of the way if needed." Henry was lying about the last part, but he didn't want to trouble the girl. He knew he couldn't move even if he wanted to.
  23. You quite literally missed just about nothing. All that happened is brief character introductions before characters went out to grab their winter gear for the mission. The rest is filler (no offense to anyone).
  24. His vision was a bit blurry, but he could still somewhat see and noticed Danielle helping him up and against a wall. He looked at her and ignored her little joke. He simply looked straight into her eyes with a bit of a smile on his face. "Don't worry about me, I've been through worse. After all, I am the infamous Orre boy. Just promise me you won't blame yourself for any of this. It's a pain that never goes away no matter how hard you try." Henry wanted to say something else, but the pain caught up to him. He badly wanted to get up and stop the Donphan, but he needed rest. He looked at Danielle with a fierce. "I'll be fine on my own and won't do anything rash. Just go help the others. If anything happens, my Pokemon will take care of me." Zuko looked at Henry closely. It wasn't like his master to give up so easily. Henry had a plan or at least some type of plan. He stood there on guard preparing for what exactly might happen next. The other three Pokemon came closer confused as to what was going on. Unlike Zuko, they didn't completely understand how Henry's mind worked.
  25. He's so weird. Does he even know how to talk normally? I think I understand why that guy beat the crap out of him now. "So...I'm just going to go now. I don't want those officers to be waiting on me." Emelia used this as a great opportunity to get away. She looked left and right hoping someone could pull her away to make this situation a little less akward.
