I kind of create characters like Surge. I've had character ideas I've absolutely hated, but I don't quit on stuff. Usually, I keep redrafting until it feels like a real person and not someone who is going to be a pain to play as. Why? is probably the question I use the most to flesh out a character especially antagonists/villains.

That's actually isn't that uncommon in writing as a vast majority of writers lose interest in the project they're working on and never finish it. While I'm new to RP, I've had plenty of experience in the writing world and it's something quite a few great writers struggle with.

Among the group of Deino heading down the hill, a Deino who was a bit bigger than the average searched for one of these so called trainers to take down. A smaller Deino who was following right behind heard stories from other dragons how powerful these humans were and could easily take down one of their own. The duo heard a voice of a boy. He was saying a few things, but to whom. Is this one of those trainers who are mightier than the dragons? "What do you mean you're hungry?" Henry spoke as he looked down to the little bug. "You just ate my whole supply of berries not even an hour ago. You're going to have to wait back at camp if you want to eat anything as I don't see any berry trees around." The sad little bug then walked over to the other Pokemon and looked. While this was happening, Burrows was enjoying digging around for random items. He eventually found an unusual shiny gold rock which he held in his hand. Thinking the object was worthless, he tossed which happened to land right on a black and blue dragon's head. "Dei!" yelled the dragon in angered. Burrows turned around and noticed the two Deino standing right behind him. This freightened the Drilbur as he quickly ran over to his master griping onto his sore leg. "What the hell Burrows! Do you know how much that hurts?" Henry then noticed the two Dragons approaching him. "What'd you do this time? Seems like they are pretty intent on challenging you. With all these trainers catching dragons, I guess it'd be good practice for what's to come." He turned to the two dragons. "So you want a double battle is it? I'll gladly accept. "Burrows, Gypsy, are you two ready?" The two Pokemon who's name were called followed the two Deino into a big open area. They stood in front of their trainer looking at the Deino with the bigger of the two carrying a large grin on his face. These Pokemon sounded scared and pathetic so it was going to be an easy win. These trainers were more talk than an actual threat in his eyes. Close by, Zuko was taking the role of watching little Paradox for the time being. Being the responsible Pokemon he is, he curled and decided to take a nap leaving little Paradox to venture off on her own. The little Pokemon wandered around and noticed the battle was about to begin, but she noticed a Murkrow close by. Not wanting to have a Pokemon miss out on this exciting opportunity, she cried out to her and pointed to the battle before running there herself. She then took a seat close behind Henry with her undivided attention.

Okay, got it. I was planning on one having special attacks and one having Physical attacks to kind of show off a wide variety of my Pokemon moves (as most will disappear later on anyways). Is this moveset okay for them? Big Deino - Fire Fang, Headbutt, Bite, Focus Energy Little Deino - Dragon Rage, Dark Pulse, Earth Power, Roar

You know what, surprise me as I really don't care where I get put.

I can understand that. Sometimes I'm at work and I see a bunch of posts when I get back. Even though I want to go straight to bed, I somehow manage to force myself to read and post something so you guys don't have to wait on me. @Chim: I probably would've gave Alvin a Masquerain as one of his main Pokemon. Anyways, is it alright if I control both sides of a double battle fight between Henry and two Deino's? If you don't want any more battles to take place, that's perfectly fine too.

@Huk: Yeah, I'd say 16 should be the limit especially with quite a few new members joining

I've pretty much gave up on creating a team based around something and focused more on balance. If you need to make an exception (similar to Cain's Oshawott) I don't think anyone will say anything. Seriously, I probably could create an unique, but well done team for Alvin or Lana if you're having trouble.

Manectric and Jellicent are pretty much the only two I'm locked into at this point. I'll easily swap around the four reserves since those will be a long ways away before getting them anyways. I'm trying hard to avoid having the same Pokemon as someone else.

Kangaskhan or Gyarados might work too. Seriously, if none of you pick Gyara, I'm switching my team around a bit.

You can skip over the Emelia thing that honestly. She's interested in whoever made that cut (she thinks someone skilled with using a sword did it). She's also thinking it's someone she can duel. The only other thing is that she kind of wants a quick summary as to what happens to in the Pub as she doesn't want to be seen there.

I quit Actually, go ahead with it as I'll get rid of T-tar instead of Lunatone for the team idea. It's going to be weird using a Sandstorm team without a Pokemon with Sandstream, but I'll make due.

The sad part is that could actually work. (What the hell was GF smoking to allow Diggersby to learn surf? Then again, Tauros can surf too).

Name: Drake Everton Age: 38 Partner: Crobat - Typhoon Appearance: Tall, somewhat muscular build. Short brown hair with a clean shaven face. Rarely ever smiles. Personality: Usually has a firm expressionless face. The only other face he has is his angry face. He doesn't like jokes and takes everything seriously. Sometimes he mocks the uneducated especially when they act foolishly. Backstory: Drake grew up in the Hoenn Region. He lived his life as a normal trainer until the reign of Dawn came upon the world. With little choice, he abandoned all of his Pokemon except for a Crobat and played by Dawn's rules. Seeing this new way of life really changed Drake into a strong believer of equality. As long as Dawn remains in power, he knows that dream will never become true and is willing to do whatever it takes to finally end this. Things to Notice: Despite his beliefs, he is very loyal and will follow orders perfectly no matter how immoral they may be. Edit: I decided to change it around a bit. I like both Frank and Drake about the same, but I'm willing to switch it back if you want to see that pyro sadist.

I think I'll join this one as well once you put up a template. Seems quite interesting and I have my own idea for a PC.

While the others were arguing with the officer, Emelia moved closer to the golem body. She pulled out her sword and carefully slid it across where the cut had occurred. It's flat meaning there was no struggle. I've made cuts like this on wooden practice dummies before, but it's not easy. Hmm...maybe that meeting might hold an answer. Emelia placed her sword back into the scabbard and headed over to where the officer was interrogating innocent people. "Excuse me, but would any of you like to make a quick buck?" She kept her voice deeper while behind the mask to sound more like a male.

That last line sounded odd. Why would someone go looking for something given to him? More importantly, you could easily grab one from the lab. Maybe Venus's outrageous theory wasn't so crazy after all. Nothing has been proven so far, but it'd make a lot of sense. I'll have to keep my eyes out. Henry looked over to Evan one more time. "Well, good luck with that. Hopefully there won't be any trouble. Can't say the same for myself because I seem to be a magnet for it."

I'd have to go with the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon world. While it is fun controlling a fire breathing dragon, it'd be way more fun to be a fire breathing dragon. If we remove Pokemon, I'd have to go with Chrono Trigger's world. Just the idea of a time machine never gets old.

"Who, Gypsy? She's hard to understand if you haven't been around her enough. Actually, I originally thought Zuko and her were going to be bitter enemies, but they get along pretty fine. I doubt anything bad will come out of this one either." Henry decided to drop the subject with the water stone. He knew there was something Evan was hiding and hiding well, but it was way out of his boundaries to know what it was. "If you want, I can take it off of your hands. Back home in Orre, I have a rock collection with a wide variety of evolution stones. Since there basically is no body of water near where I live, water stones are quite rare."

While she was walking, Emelia heard the group dismiss and eventually break up. She ignored it until a police officer came into the area and began calling out a boy. This convinced her to turn around and see what her possible new job would be like. After seeing a bit, she understood why the lieutenant beat the crap out of him. Even she wanted to punch him for wrongly convicting the boy when the proof he did nothing was right in front of him. I know I'm not part of the force yet, but I hope not all of them are that dense. She kept her distance leaning against a nearby wall.

Henry recognized that look Evan gave to the water stone as it was similar to the one he did to Burrow's Poke Ball before realizing it was a fake. "There's more to that water stone than what you're telling me, isn't there? Wait...don't answer that. I'm just having a deja vu moment. Er...I will say something though. That stone is just a piece of rock. Whether you use it or not, nobody will think any different of you, especially your Eevee." Meanwhile, things were tensing up between Gypsy and Burrows. The mole's claws began to glow as he slashed them towards the Venonat. The bug easily dodged each strike showing no signs of struggles. After a few more attempts, the mole finally gave up and went back to chasing the little Togepi. The proud bug quickly retreated back to here prized stash of berries and began munching down on them again.

I might post something in a little bit. Right now, I'm just way too tired to post and need a nap.

Hey Chim are Electrikes found in the Academy forest. I might introduce, not exactly catch, one of Henry's future Pokemon if they are. Also I'm kind of in the same boat as Dobby and will be gone today and half of tomorrow.

The Venonat saw Zuko being tagged, but the Pokemon didn't react. The Venonat tapped Zuko and then headed into the group. While she couldn't move fast, she maneuvered herself to sneak behind the Drilbur and tap him. The Drilbur tried tagging the Venonat back, but the little bug maneuvered around to just barely dodge his claws. "Looks can be deceiving, but he's really not that much different from any other Vulpix." Henry noticed the Vulpix began watching the tag game again. He looked over and noticed a blue shiny rock in Evan's hand. "Is that a Water Stone? I'm guessing that's for your Eevee."
