I have to agree here especially how it was handled. If you're going to do something that'll affect other players vastly, post something here to make sure they're okay with this. Secondly, sing is very unreliable no matter what logic you use. The stampede would've blocked out almost all sound unless they were very close (angry Pokemon are also very hard to put to sleep because they probably aren't using their hearing as much). On another note, you probably don't want to be hit by one of those things unless you want to end up like Henry.

Yeah it is Danielle (had to think a minute about how severe Henry's condition would be).

Henry lay there staring at the sky questioning what just happened. His Pokemon, who managed to get away moved over to their trainer. "Thanks the for help," Henry said sarcastically. He remembered being sent flying head on into the wall. Thankfully, the Donphan didn't knock him full force otherwise he might've been dead. He was in pain, severe pain, but nothing seemed to be broken fortunately. He turned once more to the sky yelling, "Arceus, why do you hate me?" Henry knew he couldn't just lay there, especially with the Donphan on the loose. He slowly crawled over to his broken cane and used it to try and elevate himself up. With much struggle, he found his way back to a standing formation. Henry then felt dizzy and landed hard on his hand and knees coughing and coughing until blood shot out of his mouth before falling down to the ground. Zuko had seen this once before and knew exactly what to do. He sprinted off to where he saw the girl Henry was talking too earlier. He began growling and signaled for her to follow where the boy had collapsed. ((Henry is awake and alright...well able to move after a little bit, but you can't expect someone to be perfectly fine after taking a Donphan hit))

Emelia looked at the man trying her best to hide any expression. This man talks weird. Maybe he spends a little too much time in those old books. No matter, I don't want to make a scene now of all times. "The pleasure is all mine. Hopefully this swordplay of mine will come in use for the greater good as it would be an honor working along with someone like you officer Du...Dudley was it?" Whew that was close. "Sorry, but I don't believe I know your name. I'm Elliot." Emelia noticed the man looking at him strangely. She figured he may have realized she was a female, but she wasn't going to say anything and kept her male sounding voice. "Why are you looking at me weird? Is there something on my face?"

Don't worry about it. We all sometimes say things we regret. As long as you learn from it and move on, it's not that big of a deal. I generally prefer playing my characters to the best of my ability instead of thinking of ways to shove my character into the spotlight or making them important.

I kind of took that as a bit of arrogance (I doubt you meant it that way). Killing off a character should have no correlation to them being a main or side in fact, sometimes the side characters are more recognized and memorable than any of the main or people who post the most. Death is also the moment that can make or even break a character.

What do you think of Chapter 2? Did you enjoy it? I'd have to call it a beautiful mess. Unlike the first chapter, a lot of issues came up, but everything still was great. Even with all the behind the scenes problems, it still was really fun and a great second chapter. What about my writing? Where can I improve? Hmm...with so much to control at once, I feel there's not much else I can say other than to just do what you're doing already. Which characters under my control feel real / which characters need improvement? I'd say you did a much better job with the characters you controlled in this chapter than the previous. Alvin didn't get much spotlight, but that's just about it. Who is your favorite NPC and why? I'm not sure, but Tyron was definitely my favorite in this chapter. Who is your least favorite NPC and why? Still the chef. I'm actually going to have to go with Brendan and Rebecca. Elm has improved this chapter, but his assisants feels needless or are just filler characters with not much to do with the story (they pretty much are invisible...in the bad way). @Jory: Evan is a PC, but if you see his interactions with Henry/Danielle, you'll get a better idea of his character. I really do think Chim did a great job with him this chapter. What do you think about the darker parts I included in this chapter? (Hydreigon and Celebi) Definitely the highlights of the chapter. I mean the whole Hydreigon battle looked as if it was scripted that way (if only you could see my face when Shiro appeared), but the backstory really did top off an amazing part of the chapter. I'm only going to caution you about the Celebi part. If I show a vision, it would always come true. There tends to be a lot behind the scenes and sometimes what you see isn't exactly what you think you're seeing. Confusing? I had a character who had a vision of him killing another in a story idea. It was very interesting playing with that idea and making a full story behind it. Which Legendary do you think will befriend your character? And why? Giratina. The Pokemon is sometimes referred to the devil and was once in Orre in this RP iirc. I'm sure the rest of you can fill in the holes as to why I guessed this guy. What do you expect to happen in Chapter 3: Winter Cup? This is one of those that I have absolutely no idea. I'm just going to wait and see instead of reacting. If your character was approached instead of Slade; how would he / she react? He probably would've questioned these "Rockets" about a couple things he was wondering and probably would've realized something fishy was up. I doubt he'd join or attack them claiming they're evil or such aka stay neutral. Is there anything else I can improve upon? The more one writes, the more one naturally improves. You're doing pretty good and trying your best to keep everything in balance. If Pokemon battles ever get to be troublesome, I'm willing to take control of unimportant NPC/Wild Pokemon to extend battles instead of them being cut short (Seriously, I'm an endless encyclopedia of attack ideas). Additional: Dobby mentioned not to repeat going through all areas. I'm not for or against this idea but I have a solution. The PCs could divide themselves based upon the areas they want to go and there could be a certain point where they have an option to switch to a new area (instead of forcing them to go to all four). NPCs could be used to help influence some of these choices so it's not like people are going to always be with the same people. Edit: now it shouldn't be such an eyesore. On another note, Slade is the only PC who hasn't talked once to Henry.

I pretty much had very few ideas of what to do from the end of the dragon trip to about this point. I don't mind having little to do on a certain day (but the RP seems to pick up the pace on days I'm very, very busy). So I guess this was a win-win situation.

So that's why it's been so quiet on the Danielle, Kristen, Evan, Henry side. I'm not sure if I should be excited or scarred of what's about to come (I swear if it's another Hydreigon I'm gonna...)

I'm really surprised how against this you people are. I mean the gifted are treated worse than dirt living in poverty where they are viewed as inhuman or trash. By ignoring this, your saying it's okay to live like that. I'm not judging choices, but let's face it, some people are going to hold grudges against non-gifted. @Gotwala: feel free to strike a conversation up with Emelia. Like in my sing-up, it's not that important if you know she's a she, but you'd have to be pretty keen to tell.

Henry let his Pokemon relax after that rough battle. Burrows and Zuko both kept an eye on Paradox because of how troublesome she became in the last fight. They watched the Pokemon carelessly run around playing with the Deinos which seemed to tire them out rather quickly. In a couple of minutes, the two found themselves snuggling with each other for a pleasant nap. That nap ended when abrupt noises came from nearby. The two looked at each other at the horror they committed and pretended like it never happened. Henry, on the other hand focused on where the noise came from. "I have an odd feeling Danielle has something to do with that noise. She'll probably be alright though. Only a broken bone or two at the most." Henry then noticed a little Togepi shaking by his feet. Henry bent down and patted her on the head. "There's nothing to worry about, it's just a Pokemon battle, that's all." Paradox stopped shaking when something began to vibrate in Henry's backpack. She curiously watched as the trainer sat the bag down and pulled out this strange machine with a circular object which popped out of the side. She climbed up Henry's arm to see a bunch of flashy things coming off the device. He seemed to be focused on the white symbol thingies which he looked at very closely before saying, "Zuko's going to be excited about this news. I'm going to wait otherwise he's going to be bugging me about it until we get back." Meanwhile, the Vulpix was secretly listening in on Henry's words. He tilted his head wondering what he master was hiding from him. Within a flash, he hopped over to his trainer demanding to know this news. Henry gave a small smirk signaling he wasn't going to cave in so easily.

I have made one post which included very little because I thought we were waiting on me. The sad part is I can't post anything else until we move forward so shush. Edit: I'm not rushing you guys, it's just something I wanted to point out.

It was more of a Gen V vs Gen VI question that a location question. I have a couple of questions. Can a stat boost be carried over from one fight to another or are they reset at the start of the next fight? And how would U-turn work with one Pokemon?

If I were the host, I could turn Candice into something that could could easily wipe the floor with our Pokemon choices even without legendaries or hax moves. I'm actually rather shocked she isn't like the sixth or seventh leader as she is final gym leader worthy.

Considering we're marching into an area where we can easily be ambushed and frozen to death led by a leader who will be hax Serra but with much stronger Pokemon (and a Mind Reader+Sheer Cold Articuno) I think that should be the least of our worries.

Rough Skin could cause both the Noibat and Gible to faint (which is likely based on your post).

The clothes thing is like a signal we're ready to move on to Snowpoint and are done with the small talk. If there's something else you want to do, I'm sure it's okay but be prepared if it gets cut off.

Actually, I thought it sent the Pokemon flying across the field in a pseudo knocked out state (unable to battle for the moment).

The character he's based off of is definitely not someone to look up to. That one sacrificed his almost all his morals in order to try and achieve his goals. I'm not sure which direction I'll go in this RP though (he won't be killing people without very, very good reasoning).

Drake is the same age (I used that age so that he'd be 18 when the reign of Dawn began)
