Guys, does anyone know where I could potentially get artwork of Jacob with his Flygon and Charizard? I have a pretty cool concept in mind, but I'm a trash artist.

{Important Action!} Arthur's face darkened. "SHE'S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND!" he complained petulantly. He then took a deep breath, doing his best to compose himself. I guess it couldn't do any harm, he thought. The blue-haired youth put on his new Duel-Gazer, impressed at how much lighter it felt on his head than the older model. "These seem like a big improvement over the old ones," he noted. "I'm always up for a quick match, though. Especially against such a famous opponent! It's time to duel!" he said enthusiastically as he activated his D-Pad. The field slots shot out of the main body and Arthur took his Deck out of its holster on his hip, slamming it home into its slot. "I'm ready when you are."

Guys, I've decided that I'm going to put an exclamation point after all my Important Actions. Idk why, it just seems appropriate. And yes... let's call it a romcom >>; EDIT: Also, @Tomas I really didn't see a difference between options (1) and (2), so I kinda took both. If that's an issue I'd be happy to change it.

Bark looked on with interest as the new guy, Dexter, walked in. Then, he dropped the tidbit about accepting Astros's contract. Poor sod. He doesn't even know what's coming, he thought to himself. A life of servitude to a being he knows nothing about. Certainly not the way I would have wanted to be awakened, but then again who am I to complain? A look of shock came over Bark's face as he looked across the room and saw Vixen engaging in a rare act of compassion, giving her water to the young girl who had begun to break down. Interesting. So you're a softie at heart, he noted. He then stood up, his sheer size making him quite noticeable in the relatively low-celiinged room. "So is there any particular plan here, or are we just planning to sit around and chat and have a slumber party? Because it it's the latter, I'd like to suggest a pillow fight and hair-braiding." He chuckled lightly and turned to Takeshi. "Turn on the news. I'd like to see if the normies caught on."

{Jacob & Danielle} Jacob chuckled lightly, stretching out his arm. The Togetic landed gracefully on it, a contented smile on her face. "You may not know it to look at her, but Arete's been going through the same endurance training that Chalchi has. Arete has a bunch of tricks up her sleeve, and some of them are ones she came up with. She's a strong Pokemon through and through, and when we work together we can overcome any obstacle. Even any nasty Sevipers," he said, turning to the Togetic. Arete nuzzled his hair gently before taking off again, fluttering around the pair of trainers. "Plus, she knows Extrasensory and Encore. The moment that Seviper slips up, we'll have it trapped," the Trainer said confidently. "If I don't let her battle any Poison-types, she'll never be able to defeat them. We're making sure that doesn't happen and getting a new teammate to boot." With that, Jacob, Arete, and Spitfyre began walking deeper into the forest. Jacob turned around after noticing Danielle hadn't moved yet, laughing lightly. "Come on, Danielle! There's a tournament going on and we don't want to miss any battles!" Then, he thought for a moment. "I didn't even know there was a Sawsbuck in here. Maybe we should tell it about the danger like you said after we're done with the Seviper," he suggested.

Bark unstrapped his shotgun and sat on one of the sofas. He placed his weapon on the floor leaning on the arm of the couch then sat still for a few minutes, apparently staring off into space in an uncharacteristic silence with his hands firmly clasped underneath his chin. I'll let the boy handle this one, he thought to himself as he looked around the room using his peripheral vision. Both of the experienced girls had come with them, though one had come under protest. I wonder if any of them know who I am, he pondered. He dismissed the notion immediately, stopping himself before he waved a hand as if to actually wave it away. They're all so young. I doubt any have even met the Protectors other than Scraggles, and even if they have my story is almost a decade old at this point. Bark looked across the room toward Vixen, his curiosity piqued. Is she a Loner, or something else entirely? he wondered.

Jacob's next encounter: Seviper (F), Level 20 Ability: Shed Skin Attacks: -Poison Tail -Venoshock -Lick -Iron Tail Support: -Glare Basically, this battle is going to be interesting for Jacob and Arete...

{Jacob & Danielle} Jacob caught the food package, smiling broadly at Danielle. "Hey, thanks!" He then opened it and looked inside, inspecting its contents. "Cool!" He then looked back up as they got nearer to the forest, grinning slyly. "Just what do you think I'm planning?" he asked, genuinely curious. What, does she think I want to have a battle during the Winter Cup? No way! he thought to himself. He looked down at his belt, pleased to see that he had actually remembered to bring a few extra Great Balls with him. He then picked out a bit of food and popped it into his mouth, sighing as the flavors coursed through his mouth. "Tho good!" he said through a stuffed mouth. He swallowed and looked up. They had gotten closer to the trees. Spitfyre looked back at Zared, shrugging and pointing to the forest. No matter what, Jacob had his trust. It was thanks to his Trainer that he had grown strong enough to evolve and make short work of most of his opponents, and so he was more than willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Plus, the Professor had told them he was going to take care of it. If the Dragon Master couldn't do it, no one could. Jacob turned to Danielle just as they entered the forest. "Alright, Danielle. I haven't told anyone this yet, but you're one of my best friends so here it goes." He smiled broadly. "Professor Cadmus is the most inspiring teacher I've ever had. He's an incredible battler, but the way he cares about his Pokemon makes me proud just to have studied under him. But I'm no copycat," he added. "So from now on, I'm catching Pokemon from the Dragon Egg Group! And today I'm starting with one of the more common ones; Seviper." He appeared lost in thought for a moment, then nodded to himself. He unclipped Arete's Ball from his belt and threw it in the air. "Arete, come on out!" he said excitedly. The Ball burst open in a flurry of pink and black hearts, revealing the Togetic with her Eviolite necklace on. "Since she's not being used in the Tourney, I figured this would be an awesome time to let Arete go up against a stronger Poison-type. She's got some cool new moves that I can test out. Are you ready to head deeper in?" he asked his friend.

As someone with little sense of decency or appropriateness when it comes to jokes, I don't really care what people say about my religion (as long as it's not over the top). However, I respect you a lot for telling me in a calm and appropriate manner and I'll do my best not to offend in the future.

Bark clapped his hands in response to Vixen's positive answer. "Excellent! Let's go tell Mr. Scraggly over there what the plan is, shall we?" he said with a large smile. He turned and strode toward Takeshi, clapping him on the shoulder. "Well, Scraggeshi, you'll be happy to know that I'm coming along!" He then leaned in, stage whispering to the teenager, "And I'm bringing babes, man! Baaaaaaabes!" He chuckled at his own joke once again. "So, Takescraggles, where's this hideout of yours? Is it some kind of secret base? Maybe a bunker underneath an old subway station or something?" He gasped in mock excitement, bringing his hands to his face. "IS IT A TREEHOUSE?"

{Conclave- Battle for the Stairwell} Jory and Shredder moved closer together, carving a path through the Acolytes and their Pokemon through nothing but brutal close-quarters combat, throwing their enemies down the stairs and knocking them out but being sure not to kill them. We're the good guys! he thought as he saw Nappy and Giga killing other Pokemon. If we kill like this, we're just as bad as Dawn. Diana deserved it, but not these people. He continued fighting alongside his Zangoose, throwing heavy punches with his lead shot gloves while Shredder absolutely destroyed any Pokemon in his way with either a Mega Punch or a Shadow Claw. "Rally to me!" Jory shouted. "We'll crush them between us and our people outside!"

That Diglett pic only goes up for 1 day at a time because before you joined it was my profile picture for like 5 months. And it's saved in my computer as "Digunnngh.png"

Best wishes with your grandpa's condition! I hope he gets better. And being raised Jewish I have no idea what Easter traditions are other than something about rabbits laying eggs and a certain Jewish carpenter being like "lol jk cya"

Sorry D: But I've never really been one for hiding my potential teams or motivations for it. Plus, he was spot-on about the Dragon Egg group. EDIT: Also, do you guys like my new profile pic?

Kinda correct, it's Dragon Egg Group! And I don't have any plans to make him train a certain type, as that's really not his style. He loves Pokemon in general and would train pretty much anything he caught to be the best it could be. He just so happens to have had a bit of character development planned and I feel this is a really good way to convey that. Plus, who doesn't love Sceptile and Haxorus?

Okay, so after changing Jacob's team around I've decided on a few additions and subtractions: Any guesses (other than Dobby and Chim) as to what the theme is after Arete?

"Yes, someone should probably go get that other girl you mentioned. But, like I said: I don't do carrying people." Bark turned to watch the interaction between the man who was speaking in far too grandiose a manner for these troubled times and the woman who was as cold as her magical abilities. Poor fool's obviously never heard of an 'Ice Queen' before, he thought to himself. Immediately after, the woman froze her arm to punish the man's unwanted advances. Bark laughed loudly at the interaction, his guffawing leaving him short of breath and with a tear dribbling out of his eye. "Oh, man, I've never seen anything quite like that!" he said as he slowly moved closer to the more interesting group. "And whatever-your-name-is," he added, addressing Ozzy. "Next time a woman tells you to unhand her you should, especially a magical one. It's times like these when you'll find that people don't like being touched by strangers." He then addressed Vixen. "Listen, lady, I don't know who you are. And if you want to leave I won't try to stop you. But someone as skilled as you knows the value of knowledge, and that's something this youngster seems to have in spades. It's one thing to know the layout of a city, but it's another entirely to know its inner workings. You and me are two of a kind, albeit with vastly different social tastes. So why don't you stick around for a bit? If you get fed up with all these idiots," he said, gesturing to literally every single person around him except Takeshi, "-then I won't blame you for leaving. Deal?" he asked, not even bothering to proffer a hand to shake.

@Tomas, here's a tip that I've found helpful in my short tenure as co-host for Ymora: You can still update on your own w/o internet access. Just type it up and put it in a Notepad or Word document, then when you have access just paste it in. It'll allow you to use your allotted interwebs time more efficiently.

Bark stepped out of the shadows, mildly annoyed that the girl hadn't run to safety. What an idiot... he thought to himself. Well, at least no one died. He strode toward Takeshi, a disarming grin on his face. "Hey, hey, easy with the accusations of watching and shadow-skulking there, Mr. Scraggly." The rather large man relaxed, slinging his shotgun over his back and extending a hand. "Unlike that acrobatic minx over there, I happen to love pleasantries. And since you said you were a loner, I have no issue with introducing myself. The name's Bark." He held up his hand as if to silence questions that hadn't been asked yet. "Yes, like a tree or a dog. And yes, if you bark to get my attention, I'll hit you with a newspaper," he said jovially, laughing loudly at his own joke. "I'd be glad to come with you so long as I don't have to carry her," he said distastefully, nudging the unconscious girl with his boot.

{Arthur, Charlotte, Arclight} Arthur glared after the two who'd run off and left him with that girl. He glowered and rolled his eyes as she spoke, neither caring what she had to say nor wanting to hear it. I just want to investigate this one thing and she has to go and show up everywhere, he thought mirthlessly. "I like the product, but I wish the D-Pads had their own line of paint. Some of them don't take well to the factory finish," he added. No reason to let a personal grudge get in the way of scientific progress, he thought to himself.

{Conclave} Jory looked back at Carissa, a mixture of rage and remorse in his eyes as he continued fighting off the acolytes. I know they've been brainwashed, but that doesn't make them any less dangerous! And it's not like I've killed any of them, he thought to himself as he parried a punch from an Acolyte. He brought his right arm up and around the girl's neck before stepping under her abdomen, lifting her up on his back and flipping her flat on to the ground. He heard the breath shoot out of the Acolyte's lungs as she hit the ground, then looked at his oponent. The girl's expression didn't have any trace of fear or questioning on it, only pure hatred for the Team Dusk members. "Just because they've been brainwashed doesn't make them any less dangerous. And it doesn't make them curable, either," he said sadly. Shredder was locked in combat with a Toxicroak and a Mienfoo, managing to hold his own despite disadvantages in both type and number. Suddenly, the Zangoose lashed out with a Quick Mega Punch, sending the Toxicroak crashing into the wall at the bottom of the stairs. The Mienfoo backed away slowly with its hands up, then bolted down the stairs. So some of them haven't been conditioned, he thought to himself. But anyone who saw the Mother's body and is still fighting is a hostile. And this is war. They need to be treated as such. With that thought Jory checked a kick from an Acolyte and took a punch to the face from another, getting knocked to the ground. The Acolyte who punched him managed to spring on top of him, but Jory grabbed her arm and wrapped his legs around her waist, preventing her from doing anything to him. He then lifted his legs up so they were around her neck and arm, choking her out quickly and throwing her off. He did a handspring to his feet, narrowly avoiding a clothesline from the other Acolyte. The veteran lashed out with a side kick behind him, catching the Acolyte in the back and sending her face-first to the ground. "Haven't you all had enough for one day?" he shouted, exasperated. "How many more of you do I need to kick the shit out of before you understand? And those of you who followed her willingly are crazy fucking bitches. You and Diana all deserve each other and I hope you have a good time rotting in hell with her!"
