It seems weird to me to throw in a color besides maybe a darker gray in keeping with the normal form's...fin...thing just being a darker green. As much as I like monochrome color themes I also think the dark red Spiritomb looks better than either of the ones that had white on them.

The confusion status effect (not the move) results in a typeless physical attack with a set base power, last I remember. Deoxys has the HP and defense of a wet paper bag and the attack of... Well. It's third on the list, surpassed only by Mega Heracross and Mega Mewtwo X. Unfortunately a wet paper bag probably doesn't have much power either, so that metaphor is slightly off. Oh well. Or some kind of majority system I guess, where there has to be a noticeable/considerable number of downvotes- I saw last night there were a few songs that were dead even in terms of woots and mehs, with maybe one extra vote either way, and that sort of thing is kind of hard to call. Personally, though, this. I think maybe the best way to appeal to everyone, suggestions aside, is to have DJs with varying tastes so that in the event person A doesn't like DJ A's song, DJ B can come out and be like "okay what about this" idk. You and Cow in particular are somewhat similar so variety was limited outside of suggestions (while I was there, at least (which admittedly wasn't very long (sorry! (parenthesis)))) and while that doesn't bother me... well. you know.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I'm pretty sure there are stations on the radio that only play specific genres of music, for the record. And if I recall, your suggestion was pretty well-recieved, at least. If you mean manually, then I'd have to say no; the temporary nature of the points would be kind of pointless (hahaha get it) if they were to get removed before they would be automatically removed anyway.
