It's happening~~~ Reborn's Showdown server is up and ready for action! You can find it linked from both the site and forums, as well as at http://reborn.psim.us/ or http://www.pokemonreborn.com/battle/ It'll be the the same old Reborn, but on a brand new system. It may take some adjusting for veterans of PO (jk I've been on PO for four years now and this is an easy change)- but it's also bringing with it a bit of new functionality. For instance-- permanent rooms! We're handling this a bit differently since, once created, rooms won't just go away. Anyone is free to buy themselves a ticket to their own permanent room of choice and ownership thereof, available now from the Site Shop. But that isn't the only thing Showdown's bringing to the counter-- also in the shop, you can now purchase a completely custom avatar for yourself to use on our showdown server! This can be from your Trainer Card, one you made yourself, or something else entirely! To accommodate Showdown's debut in Reborn, the Site Shop has been absolutely loaded up for both of these deals, but there is still the chance that the goods will go fast, so snag yours before the going's gone, and join us on the server now. I will keep the PO server up for a few days more but once everything is stable and set to transition, it will be going to sleep for good. Also huge shout-out to Kupo of The Battle Tower and Sciz of PokemonDB.net's Showdown Server! They were both a huge help in getting this set up.

Nitpick with the second: note around the stripe on its belly, you can see some of the lighter red pixels dotting the edge-- this is to fade white into red but since it's not white anymore, could we change those fade pixels to something intermediary between the red and black?

For the record I'm glad. Even though I haven't been very vocal here I am vacuuming up these sprites and they're a huge help.

Reborn is like 95% of why I do. But aside from that, I do enjoy exploring, and especially finding new species when new gens come out. Like, hello, what is this thing? Let's learn everything about it. Correct. We used to host it our selves but two of our past hosts have asked that we no longer do that. Not this one though-- we haven't tried here. You know, honestly, I could maybe just buy a second VPS specifically for downloads. Not 100% sure how that would work, but it's not going to happen for E14

We tried that before. It 0% worked out. I'm open to alternative hosting suggestions but Drive, Dropbox, Mediafire are all off the table.

We tried that too. It falls under the 'impractical' category. Couldn't get it to function properly in any case, so no bueno.

The site, not the forums. But um, I don't know if there would be much point since the site themes only change the accent color + banners. The forum banner is episode-specific now, and the forum skin can be any accent colour you want.

I didn't forget any of that. It was all considered, and for various reasons, not included. Lots of other things were. Most were rejected for being too esoteric, impractical, or for being needlessly luck based (i.e the move-missing thing).
