Jan's been posting a lot about "V14 will be peak trust" and to be honest, I think I see it. This just feels right to me. The tone feels like it's hitting. The humour feels like it goes well with the tone. The pace feels like it's schmooving. The characters are working. The events have me interested. Clear's method actor monologuing could've gone totally wrong if the writing was just slightly too off, and it wasn't off, so it was actually good. Everything I didn't like was just a quibble.

Nothing explicitly planned but i always like sprinkling in new events like this. So who knows!

Since the Zygarde cells are seemingly going to become more important I feel like I should ask this now. There's currently 1 Zygarde cell that is completely missable, in goldenwood park during specifically phase 2 of the restoration quest. There's another cell available in the park after you complete the quest which leads me to believe this might be an error, but as of right now they are two separate cells, and if you don't grab the phase 2 one you can't get it anymore. Will this cell be possible to obtain another way and/or will there be another cell elsewhere so that anyone who missed this one can still obtain the full 150 later? It would suck to miss out on something important like this just because you completed the restoration quest before double checking.

Howdy! Is there a Patreon where we can help funding the project in some way? I didn't find one. I loved every bit of the game so far and I spent many hours looking for pieces of lore hidden (like the submerged pillars puzzle or the Aizen's rifts). Also, your code looks amazing! Will you add the puzzle skips like Reborn? I can't physically do the last puzzle in the Manor arc, and I don't want to beg people to do it for me on repeat playthroughs. I will ask as often as I have to.

Ren and Venam have both dealt with vitus before. Specifically in the past. And now they're our partners for a section where we go to what looks suspiciously like vitus' mansion from the past. So @Jan, when are you posting the gameplay vids of v14?

Both of these things have absolutely crossed our minds before and been thoroughly discussed on multiple occasions, but they're simply way too much work to add retroactively at this point in time in combination with the new content we're working on. There's so much dialogue to go through to both add the portraits and/or change the dialogue to match the selected pronouns, it's going to bloat development time by a lot and we'd rather focus on the new stuff now rather than going back and changing everything up for the third version in a row. Not to say it's entirely out of the question, because I personally would love to see portraits added; I'd have an absolute blast making those, but even for my standards it's definitely just wayyyyyyyy too much work right now. And, if a change of that significance was going to be made at all, it'll likely be kept for the last version. Still, no guarantees, so try not to get your hopes up too much

are you going to put Zygarde 50% form in soon because it would go well in the story and good work in so far

Glad to hear everything is good, no reason to rush really. Since it should be a climactic story point might as well make it perfect and polished from the get go. We can wait.

I'm glad that both development has started and you guys have had a break. While I hope v14 doesn't take as long as 13.5 did, I don't want you guys to feel pressured by me and others about how long things take. Good luck and I can't wait to see how this works out!
