Same with Fern and "Swag Jockey". (Whose idea was that title, anyway? Dorkiest thing I've ever heard...)

For a while, we took in a homeless boy who was just a little older than me and interested in games and such too. Somewhere in between his playing Reborn and getting inexplicably frustrated with it (he seemed to keep this habit with any video game), a ton of different alternate titles for him were thrown out and we decided that that one was too douchey to possibly pass up.

Victoria should always be Apprentice since around that time too, so I'm not sure what's up with that.

Thanks Shuckle, I'll make note of this little strategy for the first gym!

I assume Goldeen is obtained through fishing in the "hidden reservoir", correct? Trubbish is found in the alleyways, I know that.

Would like clarification on the Goldeen one though!

Yep you catch it with the Old Rod in the hidden reservoir.

Edit: Also yeah Pachirisu and Panpour location varies per save file but they are both available at the start just which one is being bullied and which is running around that house changes.

Yeahhhhhhhhhh. My bad. It's Apprentice Victoria.

Changing it right now.

A minor, somewhat useful thing of note if you're a wuss like me and need Potions: there's a lady outside Grand Hall that gives you a free Potion if you talk to her. Something I hadn't noticed until someone else pointed it out. She gives it to you before you ever enter the Grand Hall, actually, so you can have one Potion before ever getting your starter, which is handy.

Also, I'm pretty sure Victoria's title hasn't been Nature Girl since before Episode 10? She's "Apprentice" Victoria in your first battle with her, so far as I can recall. Same with Fern and "Swag Jockey". (Whose idea was that title, anyway? Dorkiest thing I've ever heard...)

And one last thing, you should definitely make note that there are a lot of hidden items all around Peridot Ward. I literally was drowning in Antidotes and Potions from just checking random rocks and barrels and such.

I'm just trying to be helpful don't eat me

I was debating to throw all these in as well, problem is that I've forgotten the locations of the items I've already passed around Peridot Ward and Coral Ward.. I'll have to kick it up a notch while doing research. (Which means I'm going to probably start another save file just to find hidden items around Peridot Ward sometime soon.)

The free Potion thing is actually useful because random crits happen sooo. I'll include that as well. n__n

xD Not sure if this will help, but you can add to check the PC->Mailbox for a free potion.

I actually didn't know that one. xD Thanks!

Hey great work!!

a "strategy" against julia and explosion was having froakie use lick with the ability protean.. though it was completely luck based.. it wasted her voltorbs explosion?? i think.. or was it electrode.. not sure... something.. oops...

anyways its worth a try even if u plan to sacrifice it to heal ur other pokemon.. u can have it use lick and if its not dead then next turn use potions on ur pokes.. if ur lucky the voltorb uses explosion..

If I remembered correctly, Julia's Helioptile knows Glare/Mud-Slap(not Charge/Quick Attack), both of Voltorb know Roll Out(not Spark), Emolga knows Nuzzle, Blitzel knows Thunder Wave, and Electrode knows Charge(not Explosion). Anyway, great works! :)

Agreeing with the above post since I have my battle with her over here (I like taking logs of important battles okay):

-Helioptile knows Charge Beam, Glare, Mud-Slap and Thundershock.

-I can presume that both Voltorbs know Rollout and Explosion, as one used Rollout against me and the other used Explosion.

-Emolga has Nuzzle and Quick Attack.

-You've got Blitzle covered, I think...

-And Electrode has Charge Beam, Charge and Sonicboom. I think its fourth move is Rollout, but I'm not 100% sure. Oh, and yes, it definitely has Aftermath.

Yep, its rollout.

Thanks guys! I knew I was going somewhere, but wasn't 100% sure that the movesets were correct. I think I can work this out now. n__n

As far as I'm concerned about Blitzle, I'm pretty sure it has the current moveset..

This looks like a great guide so far! I'll use it if I get stuck some point during my run of Reborn.

^-^

Oh, and maybe you can change your player's appearance to the second protagonists by talking to the person in the upper-left of the Grand Hall?

One thing I feel that should be mentioned is the ice cream seller. She is outside the Grand Hall on sunny days, from the beginning of the game. If i remember the cost correctly, vanilla heals 30 for $400, chocolate heals 70 for $600, and berry heals 90 for $800, which makes them all better investments than super potions. I'm not certain about the costs, so you might want to double check it though.

Ah yes, I completely forgot to add that one. Thanks!

I'll run back to the Opal Ward and mess around with the weather/date to get a list of this. I haven't seen the Ice Cream seller yet, maybe that's why I missed her. Thanks for that!

Holy Hell. Why did nobody get me to this guide sooner?

I approve of this. I SOOO approve of this.

Wellllllllllllllll. It's not stickied yet because it's a work in progress. (Doing this as I go through Reborn all over again, nor did I ask for this to get stick'd)

Also, it's not really mentioned anywhere. (Again, probably because it's not complete yet :x)

Anddddddddddd.. I started making this about a week, maybe 2 weeks ago..? n__n

Speaking of which- Today's update will feature the Jasper Ward, part of the policemen sidequest and Malchous Forest :x

(I try to update the guide daily, or once every 2 days at the least, Cowtao)

Um..you can get a Patrat outside of the Grand Hall, wasted my last Pokeball on it when I was hunting for a Pidgey...and I don't know if it's been mentioned but fishing with the Old Rod can net you a Grimer early on.

Loving this guide since it's helping me in my second save file! :D

...Wait... this isn't pinned?

I don't even care if it's a work in progress, i'll pin this thing!

(Think it would be better if i put next to the title "In progress" or something like that?)

Wow I completely forgot about Patrat, added that one! Also added the Grimer thingy n___n Could be useful for early on, actually.

Thanks for the support!
