I would like wild Larvestas. While Volcarona is technically in the game via the mystery egg I would personally like to see all mystery egg Pokémon eventually be obtainable outside that damn mystery egg event. The mystery egg event should just be a way to get a random good Pokémon early on, the good Pokémon obtainedable via the mystery egg should still be obtainable later in game and we are getting pretty late in the game now. You should be able to complete your dream team by the end of Reborn and if the mystery egg Pokémon aren't made available by other means then that will be impossible for people such as myself which have a lot of favourite Pokémon that are currently only available via the mystery egg.

PULSE Tangrowth has given me trouble on multiple playthroughs because at the part of the game they appear I generally lack in options when against it because not only are Pokémon options massively limited at that point but I'm also always playing Reborn with further self made team building limits which generally leaves me with little options for those blasted PULSE Tangrowths. Non of the other PULSE have really given me any trouble because I usually have a good enough team to deal with them easily by the time I encounter the other PULSE Pokémon. I suppose it is worth mentioning that the new PULSE Swalot actually gave me a decent amount of trouble but I've only versed it in one playthough so far so it could of just been an issue for that specific team and I won't know if it is really hard until I reach it in more playthroughs.

Okay so I need some help getting a Baltoy for my latest playthough of Pokémon Reborn. I heard that you can get it by using the ill-fatted doll at the totem poll however I've tried this a ton of times now and all I seem to find are Goletts. Anyone able to help?

I'm aware no one here is actually advocating for stricter anti speech laws, however I disagree that free speech is irrelevant here. We are talking about whether or not people should be making certain jokes and trying to control what's socially acceptable things to even joke about which is a serious speech issue, what most people would refer to as PC culture which many would say is "ruining comedy".

Personally I heavily value freedom of speech and think people should be free to express even horrific ideas as the best way to demolish those ideas is to draw a light to them and show just how ugly those ideas are. But this isn't even about ideas but about joking which itself shows just how little a lot of people value freedom of speech now. If you can't even joke about ideas then there's no way anyone could hope to seriously express said ideas which shows how dead freedom of speech is. I get why you feel so outraged at this kind of speech as I am bisexual myself and have close family members which are gay who I couldn't respect more but wanting to censor speech because it hurts you is something I simply can't agree with personally. Honestly if someone did hold beliefs I simply couldn't get over I just wouldn't hang out with them, when it comes to joking however... well if its just joking then just shrug it off and don't assume the worst intent in what they mean by what they are saying.

Last time I posted on here was sometime in 2014 but anyways... What I don't get is why quite a few people in this comment thread have expressed not just hatred of certain characters but have gone as far as saying they are poorly written while not providing any reasons as to why they are poorly written other than disliking said characters personality or actions taken. What a BORING story Reborn would have if the characters personality and actions were made with the intention to please everyone, the characters would have to be so bland and do so little. Anyways I actually really like Tania because she's not the emotionless killer certain people on here think she is. Tania is very clearly a damaged person with flaws just like everyone else, there's a very clear inner turmoil going on with her that she needs to resolve. I also find it weird Tania is the one everyone has a problem with for killing Team Meteor grunts when WAAAAY before now we have already seen Saphira kill legions of Team Meteor grunts without hesitation while being in a much clearer frame of mind at the time of killing... You have to remember before Tania killed those Team Meteor grunts, she was trapped down that waterfall for god knows how long, not even sure of the fate of her best friend and with this all happening just after having her whole world tipped upside down. So why is Tania getting hate now but Saphira isn't even though she has been shown to be at least as bad as Tania if not worse?

Oh I didn't think Kiki would be that bad tbh considering Bug x2 resists STAB fighting and then the common Bug/Flying type x4 resists STAB fighting. Yanmega which is available before Kiki should destroy her I thought. Venomoth x4 resits STAB fighting too thanks to Bug/Poison and can power up its attack with Tinted Lens.

Oooooooo Bug is my fav type but I have yet to do a Bug type mono run because it seems hard round mid game but this might save it a little. Doesn't help 2 of my fav bug types aren't in the game (Scizor and Volcarona), my fav bug type Shuckle isnt good for playthroughs and some other awesome bug types like Galvantula and Heracross are so late game. I suppose Leavany, Forretress, Venomoth, Scolipede, Yanmega and what ever bug types are available around early and mid game are enough so I might give I a go.

How about making all the wild encounters, starters and event pokemon Sneasles instead!

I think anyone who came across the PULSE there already came to that conclusion.

I love Larvestas too but lets be honest it isnt any good.

You know I could see us getting access to Axew in the next episode as when we first go onto Route 1 Fern had a Fraxure which was obviously a very new addition to his team as he never had it before and it was considerably underleveled compared to his other pokemon. I personal want a Scizor and a Volcarona so bad!! IMO we could of got Larvesta earlier seems as its absolute garbage until its late evolution at level 59. I also really want Sneasel for my Dark Type Mono Reborn team.

The pattern already doesn't make sense though... The PULSE Tangrowth is becoming part steel type so poison doesn't effect it. Also the PULSE after Muk was Camerupt not Abra... We just didn't get to fight Camerupt. Also theres the Garbordor PULSE in he wasteland too. Also if you want to get technical the PULSE Muk likely came before the PULSE Tangrowths as the Lake had been poisoness for some time before your arrival in Reborn and the PULSE Muk was the cause.

Azumarill and Ambipom aren't on this list? Whattt!?!?!?! Availability Both of these Pokemon are available between the 2nd and 3rd Gym which I would call early game and you can fully evolve both of them right away. Early Game Use Well Huge Power Azumarill with STAB 90 Power Aqua Tail is just outright broken early game. Ambipom is also really strong when you get it as Technician STAB Fake Out alone does massive damage to pokemon at this stage of them game and even if they take it ok they won't be taking a Technician STAB Double Hit after being flinched by Fake Out. Late Game Use Well anyone into competitive battling atm should know Azumarill's power and should know it can handle the end game fine. Ambipom is much less useful late game than it is early game as you will notice its ability to Fake Out/Double hit KO everything is gone but that doesn't mean he is a poor choice late game. He still has that very powerful Technician STAB Fake Out which is always useful. Moveset Availability Azumarill gets access to Aqua Tail very early at level 21 which is its main attacking move. Through levelling I also gets Superpower, Rain Dance, Double Edge and Play Rough which are all good moves for it. The only real problem is you can't get Aqua Jet without breeding and you have to wait till late game to be able to breed for Aqua Jet. However Aqua Jet is far from a requirement for Azumarill to do well. Ambipom doesn't have the greatest movepool from levelling and is in fact almost impossible to use without egg moves/TMs. This doesn't make Ambipom a hassle to use at all though. You can catch Purlions in Lapis that already know both Pursuit and Fake Out that can breed with Aipom. Both Pursuit and Fake Out take advantage of the Technician ability and Pursuit hits Ghost Types. Through levelling it learns its main damaging move Double Hit. For the 4th move I personally choose Rock Smash seems as something needs to learn it and at least Ambipom can make more use of it than other pokemon thanks to Technician and the fact it allows it to hit steel and rock types which resist its STAB normal type moves for super effective damage.

I have actually done that lol. I have completed the full game so far with a Dark type team doing a Dark Type Mono. Although I lost to Kiki a few times it didn't frustrate me and in fact I found it a rather fun battle. The main way I won was thanks to Greninja's Protean ability though as being able to shadow sneak to turn to a ghost type and make Hi Jump Kicks miss is very useful and hella funny. If you did the battle without a Greninja then yes I can understand the frustration.

When does she say this? I mean Victoria gets a starter when you do and I find I extremely hard to believe the Top Student of Apophyll only just got her first pokemon when challenging the Reborn League.

Maybe we simply want to challenge ourselves and start over... I am guessing Cain and Victoria did the exact same thing and started over and entered the Reborn League without their Old Pokemon. Well I am positive Cain did as Aya says he was meant to be the Gym Leader not her and he left his pokemon behind. I am guessing Victoria did simply because I find it hard to believe she was a top student at Apophyll Academy without owning a single Pokemon.
