Thanks for the heads up. I also didn't realize that events were actually triggered by what time it was. Not only was I able to find the kid's backpack at night, but I also found a purloin(on the school grounds) which was a nice addition to my team.

No problem for the help. And yeah that backpack event is the only one that happens at night I believe (I forgot if there are others, I beat the game quite some time ago)

The purlion to is an event that happens only at night. If you didn't get it now you would have needed to get it later anyway.

I didn't battle him because I went to the gym first for training. I didn't know he wouldn't be there after.

yeah the gym one with him disappearing that's a glitch, but progressing the story by finding the backpack is not. You still fight him later on, its just an event that determines something.

hmm with only 3 gyms available i don't thing ev berries will be available anytime soon. just take reborn/rejuv as an example.

there are no ev berries in the current demo of the game. They may be put into future updates, but there has been no information yet regarding it.

I stopped playing it, until the game has been updated a bit more, like idk..... 5 updates? even tho 5 updates may happen next year or before the end of this year?

I thought it was pretty good. I really enjoyed the unique starters and the beginning of the game taking place in the academy. I think it definitely has some potential.

Alabaster won me over because it was aesthetically gorgeous, especially in the beginning. Cool intro, unique starter choice/method of obtaining it.

However, I've been hella stuck at the first gym because leveling up has been fairly difficult/a long process.

Maybe it's just from insisting on Larvesta as a starter *cries*

Does anyone else run into difficulty in staying leveled up to a point that gyms are at least conquerable?

All three of the starters are difficult to raise early on and are at their best late game. I didn't have much trouble at the first or second gym because my team had advantages against a lot of types they used, but I'm stuck at the 3rd gym.

3rd gym was electric right? shes is annoying with speed switching team.
