So question to committee members, how are mega's dealt with? Like is it base type so altaria being dragon would be allowed to dragon AND flying nations or is it more on type retention so where it becomes Dragon/Fairy, the fact it loses flying means Flying nation couldn't use it? and in cases were a one type mon picks up a type (Pinsir from bug - bug/flying) would that be only for bug since it would be weird to have a bug type on a flying nation without bug as a type pic?

• If the type of a Mega Evolution changes so that it is no longer a type that your Nation controls, then you are unable to use it. For example, a Nation with the Flying type cannot use Mega Gyarados or Mega Charizard X, as they lose their Flying type upon Mega Evolving. Similarly, a nation that has the Dark type cannot use Mega Gyarados, as Gyarados' base typing does not have Dark in it.

What about Pokemon that use nonconventional means to change their type?

• All Pokemon that can utilize an ability (Protean, Imposter, etc) or a move (Transform, Reflect Type, etc) should be counted as their base type. This means that only the Nation that has Normal can use Ditto and Kecleon and so forth.
