Texasblazed Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 sorry if this is in wrong location or if there are threads for this already i couldn't find one OK in episode 15 is there a way to remove feild affect from fire gym? i tried what ame said on intercom and made it rain but that did nothing Quote
Fumble Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 http://www.pokemonreborn.com/game/fields.html#16 http://www.pokemonreborn.com/game/fields.html#7 If Charlotte is using the first Field, which she starts with, setting up Rain Dance will prevent her from changing it to the second (since she uses Eruption). You can Blizzard it away. If she's using the second Field, a couple moves like Surf will break it. Quote
CryoSparks Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 I'd recommend having two Rain Dancers. The first, to prevent the superheated field from turning to burning field. The second dancer you'll need to counter her ninetails which will set up the sun with drought, dance after she sends it out to null the superheated/burning field, and turn it into rainbow field. Adding to the fact that drought is nulled and is raining, you'll sweep her effortlessly. Quote
Texasblazed Posted October 22, 2015 Author Posted October 22, 2015 oooh ok i see here i was thinking the rain dance would like cool the first field or maybe make it into some type of steam field i already beat her right before i checked for reply s on here by erupting the field myself and using the whole beat fire with fire thing although when i did my strategy i had kinda reversed itself but it still worked nonetheless thanks for the info tho will defiantly keep it in mind on next run through Quote
Monochrome_Complex Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Personally I think embracing the flame works more consistently especially with flash fire. Typholosion alone does a number on Charlotte. Quote
KaiMaxwell Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 i use meowstic with prankster to set up light screen and defeat almost everything using politoad Quote
Jiharo Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 I went with clearing the field with Blizzard from Vanilluxe though I have to reset quite a bit to get a low damage roll when she wack me with fire blast. After removing the field, you can just rekt her back. Quote
DerxwnaKapsyla Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 The two times I fought her, I used a Bronzong with Heatproof that set up Trick Room (Because she kept out speeding everything I had), then used Rain Dance to nullify her attacks. After that it was a clean sweep Quote
zx_rider Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 In my first playthrough Kingdra was my mvp, he was in battle from the start until the end. In my second playthrough (with eeveelution team) my Sylveon used Misty Terrain and Light Screen so no more OP fire field, then Vaporeon and the others did the rest xD Quote
Antilegend Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Honestly, if you've got an Earthquake user on your team, Trick Room wrecks shop. Only real thing that's going to give you attitude is her Rotom-H, which I'm sure the rest of your team can mop up. Quote
Another Felix Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Swanna was the real MVP for me in that fight. Rain Dance + Tailwind for support (No one uses this move. Actually really good) Quote
Narckarth Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) Why would you want to nullify here field effect? fight fire with fire! Edit: Though of a way to legitimize this post! If your really wan't to get rid of the super heated field, I suggest using lava plume or heat wave to transform the field into a burning field or wait for her to use one of these moves for you. wytch_doctr Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Swanna was the real MVP for me in that fight. Rain Dance + Tailwind for support (No one uses this move. Actually really good) Funnily enough, that was my exact plan as well. Quote
Ronan Erudon Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Personally I think embracing the flame works more consistently especially with flash fire. Typholosion alone does a number on Charlotte. I was laughing throughout the whole battle because my Typhlosion was one shotting everything with Eruption. I had thought my ground types and Thick Fat would actually be relevant for the battle. Narckarth Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 ^^^^ See they got the right Idea. Why bother fighting the instrument of you victory. The fire is unavoidable give into the flames and use them to burn~ Quote
