Long ago, in the days of its discovery, the Hill was alive with people: explorers, military personnel, scientists, journalists, mystics and brave souls alike, all eager to uncover the secrets that the Hill had to offer.

As the initial exploration team vanished inside, the Hill turned into a supernatural area, one where objects appear and disappear relatively quickly. With increasingly longer amounts of time that had passed since the original team's departure, other teams set out into the Hill.

After months of teams disappearing into the Hill, the leader of the original team was finally found, alone, wandering out of the Hill in a daze. Disoriented, he told those that found him a cryptic message: Whomever should reach the final chamber of the Hill would have his or her most prominent desire fulfilled.

He never spoke another word.

Much time had passed since then. The area around the Hill was locked down by the military and, as time passed by, forgotten. Occasionally, some seeking a thrill would enter into the Hill, only to return nearly comatose. As such, a fence was built around the Hill, with the sole purpose of keeping curious adventurers from suffering what had been deemed 'a fate worse than death'. Now, it's a deserted piece of land, one that has been forsaken by all that know its tale.

In the middle of a dense, dark forest, 10 years from the construction of the fence, the Hill stands empty. The wind howls over the trees, whistling through the gaps in the old fence, seemingly tugging the outside world to the Hill. If one were to follow the gale of wind, they would spot a big stone arch. Although the center of the arc should be visible, it is not-- there is an unnatural, thick darkness that fills the arch. At the top of the arch, written ancient ruins that are translatable by all that see them, is a warning to those souls brave enough to enter into its depths.

Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.

It's a place nobody want's to visit anymore. Well, almost nobody.

Over a year ago, individuals were drawn to the Hill and began a perilous quest to reach the final chamber and bring their deepest desires true, though there was a catch: only one person's dream could come true.

You are still someone with a dream and want desperately to turn it into reality. For this one true desire to come true, you don't care who you would have to kill or what you would have to do to make it come to fruition.



Mr. Michael Taylor. Gone. Enya Gillespie. Gone. Lord Byron the 3rd. Gone. Annie Tsokyu. Gone.

These names, once known to those that entered the Hill, over a year ago, deceased within the Hell that the travelers had entered. You have allied with one another, killed one another, learned the secrets that the Hill has had to offer; all this for the chance of a lifetime, the chance to make your deepest desire come to fruition.

You've been judged by Minos, had to fight off succubi and Lilith. You outwitted Cerberus and managed to get by Midas. During your journey, you traveled across the River Styx in order to enter the city of Dis. Fighting off the Minotaur, you moved through the Malebolge, anxious to get to the place that now awaits you. The Circle of Treachery. The 9th Circle. The Final Circle. The circle that, should you reach its final chamber first, will fulfill your reason for having come there in the first place.

The time for games is over. This is the endgame, and you won't let anyone stand in your way. The time to make your desires come to life is now.

Rules

- Respect the other players
This is just common sense folks. Treat everyone that participates with fairness and common decency. In other words, adhere to the golden rule of "Treat others the way you'd like to be treated."

- Respect the Mods
I will, to the best of my abilities, ensure that I'm fair and that this experience will be fun for everyone. To make sure that it's fun, don't get upset with me when I take the story in a specific direction or make decisions that you aren't fond of.

I will be the primary host of this RP, with Notus and Hukuna taking on the roles of honorary co-hosts. Basically, respect them just as you would me.

- No Excessive Violence, Sexual Content and Swearing
Yes, this RP will have a lot of fighting and some dark content, but let's try to keep it civilized. Breaking this rule will also cause expulsion from the RP.

- No Bunnying
If you're new to RPs, bunnying is defined as controlling someone else's character, which isn't kosher. If you have to interact with another PC, post your actions and wait for the other player's reaction.

Hill Mechanics

- Once inside the hill, people cannot die. If you pass by a killing experience, you'll stay dead for a while and than recover on the same place you were killed.

- Your objective is to get to the final chamber of the Circle. This can involve mazes, puzzles, and defeating adversaries.

- You'll begin the story separated, while player encounters happen at your will, as well as traps and monsters (I'll still throw some of those at you however). Guardian encounters will be determined by mod.

- You may choose to kill other players in order to slow them down and get to the bottom first or you can choose to ally with other players. Be aware though, that only the first person to reach the final chamber will see their desire come true.

- If you use your special abilities, you MUST adhere to the cost. I will be especially strict in seeing that these are acknowledged.

- While in the maze portion of the Circle, your abilities will backfire 50% of the time, causing your character injury rather than another. Please be mindful of this, as I will be strict in seeing it acknowledged. This link ( http://wheeldecide.com/ ) was posted by Stratos as a way to assist with the potential backfires; I highly suggest you use it.

- If you engage another player try to be reasonable at the fight. No one likes to lose, but sometimes one has to. Don't worry though, no one is gonna be left behind at the end.

Quickshot Quincy


Appearance: A black furry were-rat standing at 6ft. He wears a black pinstripe suit, a fedora, and has a cane topped with a rat head that conceals his sword. Quincy carries a bag that holds a double barrel shotgun called "The Preacher", a six-shot revolver called "God's Hand", and a ton of ammunition.
Age: 34
Personality: Quincy is sarcastic and snarky, as well as a loner. It has been seen that he gets incredibly indignant when people don't know his name (he figures that you should show the person hunting you the proper respect). He is also incredibly bloodthirsty, killing people purely for his own enjoyment and the thrill of the hunt.
Desire: To have all mortals stuck with him in the ninth circle forever, so that he can continue his hunting and have an infinite amount of prey.
Backstory: Quincy is a being that appeared in hell. Originally, he was apart of Lord Byron the Third, whom had come to the Hill after reading about its mysterious properties and wanting to claim them for himself. After entering the Hill and touching a Lodestone, Byron transformed into Quincy for the first time, and remained that way until trial. During the trial, Judge Minos split Byron and Quincy in half, so that both beings could be judged equally in their sin. Byron and Quincy despised each other, as Byron killed with purpose and Quincy does not. While traveling throughout the Hill, Quincy has made numerous enemies among the mortal Hell-travelers, with the most notable being Ethic Ytilarom, who in the second circle made 'rat sushi' out of the malicious rat.
Ability/Cost: Quincy has the ability to control lightning. With it, he can use several different techniques.
Electro Vision: Quincy can enhance his vision to be able to see eletro-static impulses, much like a shark's sixth sense. He can see these impulses trough walls. How ever the longer Quincy keeps it up, when he finishes using it he will become blind and equal amount of time. This isn't too big a problem, seeing as Quincy's other senses are heightened as a were-rat.
Supra Electric Boogooloo Bullet: A special cartridge Quincy makes for his guns that he can charge full of electric energy. It will send a wave of lightning towards foes and can cause serious damage. This technique however leaves Quincy drained of most of his energy, making it only a desperation attack.
Induction Shield: Quincy can make a shield to protect himself form physical objects, which causes them to clang harmlessly to the ground. This immensely drains his energy, so he can't keep it up long without risking serious injury.
He can also absorb lightning to heal or regain energy, but he can't enter large bodies of water. It will cause all the lightning to discharge from his body and kill him.

Kenny Holmes


Appearance: Kenny is a young man standing at 5'11". He has brown hair and blue eyes and is wearing an indigo robe covering a cyan shirt with jeans and sneakers. He carries a copper colored staff six feet in length.
Age: 14
Personality: Kenny is a quiet person that prefers to work alone. He can be brave when it's required of him, and can be quite friendly once he gets to know you.
Desire: To acquire knowledge of everything.
Backstory: Kenny had finished school, graduated college with multiple degrees, and was still bored. Knowledge was the one driving motivation that he had in life, experiencing the thrill of learning and discovering new things. It was after his recently finished research on aura, also known as qi/chi, that he was reading an older newspaper that heralded the (at the time) newly discovered, mysterious Hill. Upon doing more research on the Hill, Kenny traveled there, interested in learning the Hill's secrets and hoping that by traversing the Hill to its lowest level, he would be granted what he considered to be the greatest gift: knowledge. In the Hill, Kenny became good friends with Ethic Ytilarom, occasionally aiding him in fights.
Ability/Cost: Kenny has the ability to manipulate aura. With it, he can use multiple techniques.
Matter Manipulation: With this, Kenny can manipulate physical and chemical properties, changing basic molecules for 15-30 seconds. In doing this, his aura is drained rather quickly to where he is unable to use any type of aura for up to an hour afterward. Holding the changes to basic molecules for longer than 15-30 seconds runs the risk of Kenny depleting his total aura stores and falling into a coma until his stores have been recovered.
Healing: Kenny has the ability to heal others that he comes across. However, he cannot heal himself, and he feels the pain of the injury that he's healing until the wound is fully gone.
Enhancement: Kenny can boost the powers of another player. The amount he boosts their power is dependent on how much aura he expends. Doing this rapidly drain's Kenny's energy, and he'll need to rest soon after.
Portal: Doing this allows Kenny to link two locations up to 50 meters apart in distance for up to a minute. Should he link more than two places, the distance between the places diminishes. This is the most stressful thing that Kenny can do, and once the portals close, Kenny falls unconscious for five minutes. Should he try to stretch the distance of the portals, his aura depletes almost immediately, causing instant death.

Ethic Ytilarom


Appearance: Ethic is of African American descent and is 5'7". He has short black hair with his family crest cut into his hair above the right ear. Ethic wears a black t-shirt with a cargo jacket covering it, a worn military jacket that has several visible pockets and a few hidden ones, cargo pants, and black cargo boots. In one of his pockets is a Rider Tarot deck, and in the burlap sack he carries an eight inch blade dubbed 'Man of Honor' and approximately $300 in cash.
Age: 19
Personality: As a young child, Ethic lost his mother to breast cancer, something which ended in a deep seated sense of betrayal and resentment developing towards his father. This same anger and resentment directly led to Ethic developing certain trust issues and anger management difficulties, a vice which landed him being sentenced to the fifth circle of hell after entering the hill. After his trials in the circle of wrath however, he eventually came to realize how cold and harshly judgmental he had been towards his father over all these years, a revelation which eventually allowed him to move past the anger and frustration that constantly held him back and actually forgive the man. Despite his personal growth during his long journey though, the tough and hardened exterior he maintained prior still have a few traces left that can be seen, though they are now far easier to get past... and should someone prove they're worthy of it, they'll find Ethic is one of the most loyal friends that a person could have.

Desire: To gain control of his grandfather's company and restore it to its former glory.

Backstory: Ethic's mother died when he was younger, which Ethic blamed on his father. As a result, he began to grow closer to his grandfather, a wealthy business man who took the opportunity to teach Ethic the ins and outs of his business, something Ethic's father had never taken an interest in. When his grandfather suddenly died, Ethic's father was suddenly thrust into the position of running the business. Rather than taking his son's advice, his father rashly made decisions that ruined the company's standing with the community and ran it into disrepair. Disgusted with his father's actions, Ethic left home and began to earn his keep by doing odd jobs and Tarot readings, using his mother's old deck of cards to do so. One day, he heard a couple of people speaking in hushed tones about the Hill, and went to investigate it. Upon entering the Hill, Ethic's Tarot deck was destroyed by Ixidor McTracy, later to be restored with Michael Taylor's powers. While fighting this war, he found himself in personal conflict with Quickshot Quincy, finding himself in conflict with each several times.
Ability/Cost: Ethic can call upon one of the 22 Major Arcana to use its power. Each Arcana has its own effect. In order to utilize the Arcana's powers however, Ethic must first "invoke" or "activate" it. This is akin to the feeding of wild animal to try to tame it; Ethic, in order to gain control of what the individual cards have to offer with their power, must first feed them a sliver of his very own soul to satiate their hunger. Once the Arcana has been "fed", Ethic is capable of drawing upon it's power for so long as he maintains a mental connection to it, which is constantly sustained in the very back of his conscious mind and can only be severed by Ethic dying, falling unconscious, invoking and feeding another Arcana, or neglecting to call upon the Arcana's power for too long. With each card he invokes, Ethic pays the price with a piece of his self, a piece of who he is, was, and will be, what he loves, hates, fears, desires, understands and misunderstands. switching back and forth between which Arcana is active, in too short a time to recover, will ultimately create a great, almost certain, risk of Ethic becoming nothing more than a mere husk of himself, and empty shell devoid of personality, will, or drive to eat, drink, sleep, move forward, live or take any action whatsoever besides sitting and rotting away as the body slowly dies and withers where he stands... until nothing but a dried corpse is left behind.

Noella Chimdale


Appearance: Noella is a young woman who is 5'9". Her long blonde hair is pulled back into a ponytail, revealing brownish-gold eyes that remind people of maple syrup. In her left ear is a silver ø-shaped earring studded with emeralds. She wears a pink tank top with black jeans and hightop sneakers, all of prominent brands. Around her waist is tied a sweater. In her backpack, she has dried food, a flashlight, change of clothes, and a flint to start fires.
Age: 23
Personality: Noella is bright and cheerful. Underneath this exterior, however, lies cunning and deception. She's unafraid to get her hands dirty or to double cross people to get her way. Her personal motto is 'appearance is everything'. Being brought up in the middle class and receiving the fortune that she has, Noella never bothered with learning any form of physical combat.
Desire: To make a monetary profit.
Backstory: Noella was raised in the middle class, but always felt that she deserved to be higher up in life. As she went through school, she was naturally popular, and utilized tricks and techniques to ensure that things stayed that way. Maintaining her grades, upon graduation she was selected by DecoTech, one of the largest corporations in the country, to be one of only five interns. From there, she began to scheme and climb her ranks through the company, moving up from an internship to one of the supervising positions via sucking up to the bosses and making deals with those in power. As she tried to wheedle her way higher, Noella made the mistake of trying to blackmail the CEO's daughter. She was fired on the spot, and slowly her life began a downward spiral. Noella took up a parttime job waitressing, and it was at her job that she saw a documentary about the Hill, immediately heading out to it in hopes of regaining the wealth she had become accustom to.
Ability/Cost: Noella's abilities stem from her fondness for deception.
Truth-Seeker: Noella has the ability to tell when someone is lying to her. However, she cannot tell exactly what the lie is, nor does she know what the truth is. She also cannot detect lies by omission.
Vanity: With this, Noella can illusions that change her appearance to the eye of the viewer. The farther away that she tries to extend these illusions or the more illusions that she conjures, the quicker they fade and the more fatigued that she gets. Should she try to create more than one illusion, Noella has to spend more time visualizing them in order to create them.

Phantom


Appearance: Phantom is tall (6'0") and wears a long black coat with a high collar. The coat reaches almost to the ground and hangs open, revealing the black shirt, pants, and rubber soled boots beneath. His most noticeable feature, however, is the wooden mask obscuring his face. It is solid white in color, with only two eyeholes breaking up the color. From these eyeholes a red light shines, its source unknown. Long, dark brown bangs hang over the front of his mask, and the rest of his hair is visible from the back, a little longer than ear-length. He carries an elegant sword at his waist.
Age: early 20s
Personality: Phantom is a silent individual with unclear motives. If he speaks, it is at most only a few words. At times he is helpful, and at others a threat.
Desire: To regain his memories and find a sense of purpose.
Backstory: Phantom woke up outside of the Hill with no memories. The only things he had were the clothes on his back, a mask that read 'Phantom', and a sword. As Phantom was on trial in the First Circle, he was granted a memory: unable to save his friend/love interest, Lyra, from a terrible murder, Phantom killed her murderer in return out of rage and spite. This lead him to conclude that while he wanted to atone for the murder he had done, his ultimate goal was to bring Lyra back to him. Throughout traveling the Hill, Phantom has only really had one companion, being Mr. Michael Taylor. However, his only true friend was a succubus from the Second Circle called Meridian, whom he inadvertantly killed by sending through a portal.
Ability/Cost: Phantom has the ability to open portals into a mirror dimension similar to the one that currenly exists but with minor differences; this almost always includes a lack of living beings. In this mirror dimension, Phantom still has a faint link to the regular dimension, but cannot really see or hear people; thus, he must rely on him memory of where people are in order to navigate around them. Phantom cannot stay in the mirror dimension for too long, maybe a minute at most. Should he stay longer or become trapped, he will begin to experience chest pains, followed by blackouts and death.

Vanessa Luscio


Appearance: Vanessa is a young Hispanic woman standing at 5'1". She has short, black hair styled in a pixie cut, a stud in the top of her left ear, and sunglasses that cover her dark brown eyes. She wears a white tank top covered by a green vest and army jeans. Around her waist hangs a black holster carrying a .22 pistol. In her purse, she carries ammo, a couple of hunting knives, and a taser. She hides a pocket knife in her black combat boots.
Age: 30
Personality: ???
Desire: To wipe the slate clean and start anew.
Backstory: Vanessa was a normal teenage girl. She went to parties, hung out with friends, experimented with unsavory substances. When she turned 18, though, all of that carefree happiness flew out the window when she saw her best friend being assaulted by an older man. She didn't think, she just reacted-- and that's how her best friend witnessed a murder first hand. As her friend fretted in the weeks that followed, threatening to call the cops, it seemed only natural that she shut her friend up, permanently. Sick at what she had done, but continuing to kill those that became too close to uncovering her secret, Vanessa ran away from her home after having left a trail of multiple bodies, intending to find a way to live with her guilt before it devoured her. Sitting in a hotel room, unsure of what her next move should be, an old news cast talking about the Hill played on TV, along with the rumor that whomever reached the bottom of the Hill would have their deepest desire granted to them. Bringing along the weapons that she had grown comfortable with (it wouldn't do her well to let people get between herself and her goal), she murdered her way to get to the Hill, anxious to reach the bottom and start her life anew.
Ability/Cost: Vanessa's abilities stem from her proficiency with weapons.
Sniper: When aiming at a target, Vanessa's eye sight becomes that of an eagle, to where she can see up to 8x more clearly than humans, enabling her to rarely ever miss a target when shooting or throwing a knife. However, after activating this skill, she is unable to see for a minute afterward, leaving her vulnerable to running into others.
Path Alteration: By moving her hand to the side while the bullet is firing, Vanessa can curve the bullet to hit a moving target. However, doing this damages the bullet channel, and she must clear away the debris from the channel before being able to use her gun again.

Bleeding Heart: In combat, Vanessa can accelerate her movement just enough to bypass block attempts and stab her opponent. However, she can only do this once every five minutes, while using this leaves her vulnerable to attack. In addition, this skill links the pain that she causes another person with her own psych, so that she feels the wound inflicted. This fades over the five minutes of recharge.

Evan Baker


Appearance: Evan is a teenage boy at 5'5". He has bright red hair, with bangs that cover brilliant blue eyes that peer out of a tanned face covered in freckles. Evan is wearing a green uniform shirt for school over navy blue slacks; on his feet are his school shoes. In his backpack, he carries his school books, school supplies, and just over $1000 in cash.
Age: 16
Personality: ???
Desire: To become a master thief.
Backstory: It started with a toy car at the store when he was 5. It was just so easy to take what he wanted, no repercussions as long as he wasn't caught. It was then that Evan decided that he wanted to become a professional thief. Of course, he made mistakes as he grew up, and was caught more often than not. His parents refused to leave him alone in the house, while his teachers and peers stayed far away from him at school. Stores banned him from being on the premises. Evan was tested for kleptomania, but it was determined that none of his symptoms for a seemingly compulsive action fit the disorder. Unable to figure out what else to do, Evan's parents resolved to hire their son a psychologist and send him away to boot camp in a last ditch effort to help Evan get past this stage of his life. Unfortunately for them, Evan overheard the entire plan. So, bypassing the family safe to take the emergency funds, Evan dressed for school and then promptly ditched, running away from the future that awaited him had he stayed. He went to an old forest that his Boy Scout troop used to camp in (before he was kicked out, of course) and soon found himself being tugged by the wind to the Hill.
Ability/Cost: Evan's abilities stem from his thievery habits.
Shadow: As long as Evan can hold his breath, he is essentially invisible to those that have not seen him prior to using the skill. They will be unable to see or hear him as he moves about until he releases his breath.
Can't Catch Me: Evan can run at super human speeds for up to 10 meters. However, this only works if he is running in a straight line. After using this ability, Evan cannot use it again for another 30 minutes.

Serenity 'Rose' Hathorne


Appearance: Rose is a young woman that stands at 5'3". She has brownish-reddish hair that falls slightly below her shoulders, with glasses that cover her green eyes. She wears a black magician's jacket over a blue crop top, a black sarong with blue flowers over black shorts, and black flipflops. In her jacket, she has 2 decks of cards, while in the messenger bag she carries, she has 10 bloody knives and 5 pencils.
Age: 20
Personality: Rose is very quiet, never openly talking to others first. Occasionally she'll hum to herself, often citing music as being her higher power. Though she doesn't like to associate with people she doesn't know, Rose will often go out of her way to protect those younger than she is.
Desire: To get the money necessary to continue schooling.
Backstory: Serenity lived a perfect life, or so she thought. She had great friends, a loving boyfriend, and supportive parents-- that is, until they realized that she wanted to go into music as a permanent career. Confronting her, they told her that she was crazy, needed something that she could actually earn cash in. Serenity's response? She discarded her name and began to go by her middle name, Rose. She traveled around the country, playing gigs and performing magic in order to get by and save for school. However, everything changed when she was held up one night on her way home from a gig, her instrument taken from her by thieves. Unable to continue sustaining herself on magic alone, she took up a part time waitressing job and kept an ear out for opportunities. It was when two elderly folks were talking about the Hill in hushed tones that she hung up her apron and made her way toward the cursed location. Rose has been allied with nearly every traveler through hell at some point.
Ability/Cost: Rose's abilities stem from her proficiency as a magician.
Cut the Deck: Rose can use her 108 cards as frisbees, throwing them at high velocities to cut through minor obstacles or inflict wounds on others. However, she is unable to reuse cards once she has thrown them, as the edges are dull, bent, and worn upon contact.
Sleight of Hand: By using her sarong as a cloak, Rose can take pencils and sticks, changing them into knives and spears respectively. Each time she does this, the newly formed blade slices deep into her skin, causing her to grow weaker and eventually pass out should the wound not be taken care of.

Ellaria Stonewall


Appearance: Ellaria is a short girl, only 4'10". She has blank, grey eyes that stare at nothing and long black hair that runs to the base of her spine, while her light brown skin looks worn and gaunt well beyond her years. She wears a tattered grey dress with black sandals.
Age: 19
Personality: Ellaria is extraordinarily mistrustful of anyone she meets. With her given state, she also seems to be exceedingly frail. However, if you can break through the hardened exterior that she presents, she is very loyal and kind.
Desire: To regain her eyesight.
Backstory: Ellaria's life was rough from the get go. At an early age, a car crash took her parents and siblings from her. She was then bounced around from orphanage to orphanage, foster family to foster family. During this time, Ellaria was abused physically, mentally, and emotionally, until she decided she had had enough. She ran away from her foster family after having been coaxed by one of her most treasured friends, James. The two began to forage for food in dumpsters, avoiding the police at all costs. It was one night, as they were being chased for being wards of the state, that James tripped. As he called for help, begging Ellaria to wait for him, her fear at being placed in a similar situation as before took over. She ran, leaving him to who knows what fate. As she went back the next day to search for him, a group of older men cornered her. Refusing to reply with what they requested, they beat her until she could hardly move while unintentionally blinding her. The girl checked into a hospital for treatment, only to run away when she felt able to. Slowly growing accustom to being blind, the girl found her self caught outside during a terrible rainstorm, seeking shelter in what she later found out was the Hill. In the Hill, one of Ellaria's strongest allies was Rose, while her biggest adversary was Quincy, having broken her legs and kidnapped her.
Ability/Cost: Ellaria's ability stems from her lack of sight. She can bend light around herself to eliminate herself from the view of others. The length that she can hold this as well as the distance she can make invisible strains her terribly, causing her to pass out after 5 minutes of holding the invisibility.

Backstory: In his childhood he watched his family falling apart from his father's addiction to drinking and losing at the towns casinos, and swore to himself that he'd never let his family pass through that. Years later, his promise was still holding strong, though in an quite unconventional way: Matthew turned into an extremely competent pro gambler. Using wit, along with the ability to count cards and impressive luck, he managed to make as stable and comfortable a life one could ever hope for in that line of work. He had a wife and a little daughter that he loved more than anything, and he always considered himself lucky for all of this. Until one day, he got out of luck. The thugs from a specially hardcore casino discovered what he was doing and went over to his house to beat him out of it. One of them brought a gun, just in case. As they were "reasoning" with him, his daughter entered the room suddenly, knocking down a small table by accident. The thug was scared and instinctively shot. One year later, he heard of the Hill and instantly decided to try it out, gambling his luck with getting his daughter back.
Ability/Cost: Life Gamble. When in a pinch or difficult situation, Mathew may flip his lucky coin. If heads, luck will help him out of it. If tails, he'll have a body injury proportional to the task to be performed, ranging up to his death. Should, for whatever reason, the coin land on its edge, then the coin toss will be null and void, as though it had never occurred in the first place.

Appearance: Donna has dark, long, straight hair and light green eyes. She is medium high, thin and fair. She wears a black, heavy raincoat over a dress in the same color. Her face is nothing out of the ordinary, except for her eyes that seem to glow wildly in the dark. Carries a little, but sharp, scythe inside the coat.
Age: 30
Personality: ???
Desire: To end Death itself.
Backstory: Donna is the wife of a grave keeper. Day in and day out, she saw death taking people from their loved ones. With time, she looked like she got used to it. Not true. Everytime she got herself alone in their house - which was within the graveyard - she thought about how cruel it was that everyone would end up like that, with their realizations meaning
absolutely nothing anymore, their friends and family getting left behind. In time, she watched her grandparents follow their way to the grave. Then her parents. Suddenly, her husband - whose grave she dug herself. She continued her husband´s job, not really knowing why, and in each shovel of earth she threw over the coffins, she felt powerless and despairing against that hard reality. When she heard about the Hill, she dropped what she was doing and emotionlessly proceeded to the place.
Ability/Cost: Open Grave. Has the ability to summon from the dead and control any person or creature she has killed. As time passes, though, her control gets weaker and the dead try to take revenge on her for waking them from their slumber. The control time is shorter the more powerful the summoned spirit is, and if Donna is killed the dead crumble to dust along with her.

Ixidor Mctracy

Appearance: Ixidor is a slender boy at 5'5. His hair is bleached, as it's the latest trend, while his eyes are a light brown. He wears jeans and a white t-shirt, both spattered with various colors of paint. Over it, he wears an apron that has his chisel, pencils, a paintbrush, and a small sketching notebook.
Age: 13
Personality: Ixidor is very spoiled, whining when things don't go his way and crying at the smallest of things. He's carefree and naive (from his upbring) while also being extremely timid around those whom he doesn't know well. Sometimes, Ixidor can be brave, but only if someone he truly cares about is in danger.
Desire: To discover the most perfect art.
Backstory: The Mctracy family has been heard of for decades for their lavish, gorgeous art expositions at prominent museums across the world. As the newest Mctracy, Ixidor was so excited for the opportunity to join his family and become world famous. However, that excitement was shattered when his mother decided he didn't have the talent that it took to join the family's elite ranks. His father, feeling that his son really did have potential, invoked the ancient family test: Ixidor had to travel away from home in order to find the world's most perfect art. If he could do this and bring home his accomplishment, he would be granted the chance to join his family as they toured the world as rock stars of the art realm. Ixidor began to do research on the Internet, unsure of what this perfect art could be, when he came across reports of the Hill. Figuring that a prize so grand would grant him the most perfect art, Ixidor immediately traveled to the Hill. Once there, he had traveled with Ethic Ytilarom and Kenny Holmes for awhile until one of his creations come to life destroyed Ethic's tarot deck. After, he traveled for a bit with Marcus, and even grew to have a crush on a succubus in the second Circle called Mia. His artwork gave Lilith the companion of an angel, Kayle, and a subcult leader of the gluttons of the third Circle.
Ability/Cost: Ixidor's abilities stem from his artistic abilities.
Life-like Doodling: Anything Ixidor draws on any surface or medium comes to life. However, because Ixidor is still an amateur artist, his drawings may end up highly disfigured and unable to serve the purpose which they were drawn for. Others may perceive Ixidor as an enemy and attempt to injure him (a manticore he drew once forcibly amputated his left hand).
Reality Eraser: Through touching inorganic or non-living objects, Ixidor can make them disappear for up to a minute before they reappear in the same state and place that they had been. However, if Ixidor touches one of his creations, they disappear forever.

Edward Collier

Appearance: Edward is 4'11" with short, messy dark brown hair and green eyes. He is very thin, though not to the point of looking anorexic. He wears a Boy Scout Class B uniform, or a red t-shirt with Boy Scout troup 160 printed on in the left hand corner with green-tinted khaki pants that can be converted into shorts. On his back is an adventure pack, which contains dried food, a flint, and other survival items.
Age: 14
Personality: Edward tends to be rather awkward around people, often coming off as rude or insensitive unintentionally. He is very carefree and light-hearted, never really taking anything too seriously and always finding a way to joke around, though knowing when he needs to be serious (though his definition of serious drastically differs from that of those around him).
Desire: To go on the world's greatest adventure.
Backstory: Edward has always been a little... different. Having Asperger's, a form of high functioning autism, it was always hard for him to connect with others. Due to his ways of processing information very quickly and keen observation skills, Edward had become well-known amongst his troop for numerous reasons; the most prominent being that he was already on the cusp of achieving the rank of an Eagle Scout at such a young age. Despite all of this, the boy was constantly active, either rock climbing for fun, playing video games, or watching TV shows. As a devout Christian, Edward also found the time to volunteer at his church, always helping those in need. It was in a Scout meeting one night that he overheard two of the older Eagle Scouts talking about a mysterious hill that no one had managed to successfully enter and exit without going insane. Realizing that this could be his next great adventure, Edward left from the meeting that night and instantly began to travel toward the Hill, camping in the woods night after night until he finally found the entrance to the Hill.
Ability/Cost: Edward's abilities stem from his interests in Dragonball-Z.
Flight: Edward can manipulate his body's energy to enable himself to float. The higher that Edward tries to float creates a greater strain on his body, causing his body to have to rest frequently should he be high in the air. Should he propel himself in any direction while floating, he feels the same strain that he would through walking at the same speed that he's flying, in addition to the strain of keeping himself afloat.
Super Speed: Edward can cross distances at incredibly fast speeds. However, he can only use this while going in a straight line, and will crash into the object in front of him should he try to turn. The amount of fatigue is body feels is proportional to the amount he would feel had he crossed the same distance at a normal speed.
Super Strength: Edward can lift up objects up to 20x his own weight. While holding the object, his body will feel enormous strain during this time, still feeling as though it is fully supporting all of the weight and leaving him unable to lift anything else for half an hour.
Laser: Through focusing his body's energy, Edward can send forth a powerful laser that will stun anyone that it hits. This takes an extreme toll on him, causing him to collapse for 10 minutes and unable to use any other powers for up to an hour.

It´s great to know that this thing was enjoyable enough to you guys for it to be reborn after this much time. The time I spent hosting UtH was the best since I came into the forums, and I´m really gratefull you all want to give it proper closure. Thanks a ton, and count me in to the bitter end.

Ok fellas, no need for your jimmies to be rustled. I'll be making some additional changes to the OP of this thread when I get home for classes. As for the Reroll bit, they haven't been held here that often, the only prominent examples being Hukuna's Graterras: A Wind Most Foul and Notus's unBound (god I hope I didn't mangle those names. But yes Darvan, I will provide the characters that you all use for this type of RP. There will be returning characters and some new faces to the fray, so be prepared.

Snow, trust me. The other two hosts, Hukuna and Notus, in addition to those that were first part of this RP, are master RPers and will provide any assistance that you made need. I'm available as well, though in all honesty these guys are light years better than I. Main point being, just ask and you'll have tons of people that will answer your question.
