What starter did you choose?

Hey guys! I'm starting my 2nd run of Reborn and I was wondering what starter you guys chose. This isn't a "this is the best starter post", I just want to see what everyone's favorite is! I personally started with Chimchar my first run... not knowing it was the most popular choice. Oh well.

I picked fennekin and after I realised what "protean" was, I wished I had picked froakie

I picked:

1. Girl character + Cyndaquil

2. Non-binary (I hope that's the right word) character + Chikorita

3. Boy character + Totodile

On my main file, I picked Fennekin.

I have a second file that hasn't been used in a while due to hitting a wall against Florinia. I picked Froakie on that one.

I used to use Bulbasaur, but then they moved Vulpix, my source of sun, so I might start using something else.

I do have a sort of triangle for what starter to use: Bulbasaur, Cyndaquil, or Mudkip.

I picked Torchic cuz Froakie is too op

Main: I picked the ever essential Team Player: Mudkip

2nd: Torchic because I want some speed boost fun too...

3rd: Bulbasaur, because why not?

hmm well on my first run i when with Froakie and felt the pain of the first 2 gyms.On my 2nd run i used torchic played until serra and restarted cause i wanted to try out E14 from the start. 3rd run torchic again and this is my current run. hmm well if do a 4th run i would most likely pick snivy cause the only type i did not start with yet is grass.

I picked Froakie but didn't get it Protean for ages (until after Luna if I remember correctly).

Fennekin is always one of my top choices. I only wish the last evolution didnt look like some old hag but oh well.

I also really like to go with Treecko. Sceptile can be amazing if used well.

I rarely use 2nd gen and 5th gen, they are just meeeh to me, especially the 5th one. I mostly drop the starter in that gen after a while lol.

On my normal file, I chose Oshawott. As for my second file, Froakie, because I was doing a mono dark run. Thinking about choosing Chespin whenever I make another file.

I chose Chimchar because I enjoyed it competitively. I aslo have never used it in-game before. Infernape really comes through. Close Combat / Fire Blast / Mach Punch / Grass Knot.

second run i took froakie and i must say that he switches type is so handy i have no trouble with gyms at all xD

I chose Oshawott. With Swords Dance + Aqua Jet it's basically a poor man's Azumarill, which is fine by me since I lost my chance to get Growlithe. He certainly pulled his weight, though, especially late game (e.g. Charlotte onwards)

Well, Looking at the future gyms, i decided that turtwig would be best for many. The only one that ive had major trouble with was the ice gym, being able to 1 shot torterra
