  1. Aside from getting more Psychics and/or evolving Munna, Flying-types can help. Emogla's Acrobatics really helped me. Also, I hope your Luxray has Intimidate. That was the only way I could beat her Medicham.
  2. Mudkip! Pretty much always Mudkip, though I might give Fennekin a try sometime.
  3. Since the "Ticking SE Crashing Wine Emulators" issue was not fixed in 6.1, I've made a set of sound files that should resolve all the sound issues if you use Wine. Just replace the files in the given folders with my re-encoded versions. These files should also work just fine on real Windows. Thanks! I apologize that I am unable to upload the file directly, so here is a link to it: http://wikisend.com/download/606622/Wine Sound Fix.zip
  4. Would someone who has had trouble with the "ticking" sound file in Wine be willing to try replacing it with this one? I'm hoping this will resolve the crash for those who experienced it. I've also fixed all the other incompatible sound files for Rejuvenation just like I did with Reborn in case anyone is interested . . . Thanks! Ticking Fix.zip
  5. Are you sure? Bulbapedia says they have a gender ratio of 25% M to 75% F . . . http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Gothita_(Pokémon) So, I would think that sometimes you could get a male one unless it was set to always be female in that event. I have a male one, but then I got it when it was in the place that Espurr is now.
  6. Yes. It appears that the update is available now.
  7. I think you accidentally uploaded the older community release (15C) instead of the new public one (15.1). Check the Readme. You'll see what I mean.
  8. Worst case scenario pick up some Persim Berries from the Department Store to help you fight the Confusion caused by Chattot's Chatter. I think you can still get them at the point where you are as of the latest episode, but I'm not 100% sure . . .
  9. Set. Set all the way! I also don't use healing items in battle.
  10. You could always pick Mudkip . . . It has good typing and the highest BST of all the starters when fully evolved. Also, as of E15, you won't get another chance to get one.
  11. Ground or Water. Swampert would be a must either way . . . There are just so many nice ways to counter their weaknesses.
  12. Mudkip, especially now that you won't have another chance to get one in E15.
  13. Don't worry! You can get one of the Scraggys later . . . though it will be a while . . . Really though. Set up a temporary team of 6 for now even if they aren't what you ultimately want to play with. Makuhita is good, but Kricketune or Vespiquen could also be helpful for taking out the Cradily, which I think is the biggest threat for most players.
  14. This is really awesome! Great job! It's always nice to see people coming up with creative ways to beat the 'Chomp . . . . . . I still think my way is better though since there is so much less luck involved . . . http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=14382entry330765
  15. Nope. Definitely not. I don't care about them either . . . The only one (outside of the Stadium/Colosseum games) I've ever played is Pokemon Pinball way back in the day on the GBC.
  16. I've found that, most of the time, if I've completed an event to get a pokemon in one episode, the new pokemon that replaces it is not available when that save file is loaded into a newer episode. That's how it was for me with Gothita and Espurr . . . Considering I chose Mudkip as my starter, I'm going to wait until E15 to do the event so I can get a different pokemon. Hope this helps!

It's definitely there. I've run into it before. Must be kinda uncommon . . .
  18. Why isn't Mudkip up there as a choice? I <3 Mudkip . . .
  19. This seems to be the most likely explanation. Ame has said that one of her goals is to get people to use pokemon they otherwise never would simply because other objectively superior or even merely "fan-favorite" pokemon are available. Example: Ralts is probably worse than Espurr and Gothita in the early parts of the game due the prevalence of poison, but since it's a fan favorite, people used it anyway to the exclusion of other Psychic types. Ame wants to prevent that.
  20. Just remember that if you have Stealth Rock in place when Yanmega comes out, it will instantly lose 50%(!) of its HP to Stealth Rock. That might help you since you mentioned you were having trouble once you got to Yanmega . . .
  21. Besides the obvious Flame Burst, which will greatly help you, I also recommend picking up that Onix from the Hiker and setting up Stealth Rock since almost all her pokemon are at least 2x weak to Rock (Wormadam I think is the only exception). Edit: Just saw your post. I think I did my grinding with Onyx in that grassy area near Corey's Gym and the Cemetery. You could also do in the Jasper Ward since there are a lot of pokemon there that are weak to Rock. If it has Sturdy though, I wouldn't worry about leveling it up after it learns Stealth Rock. Just send it on a suicide mission to lay down the Rocks . . .
  22. I did it with Cofagrigus's Mummy Ability to get rid of Rough Skin and then a FEAR pokemon (Ratatta with Focus Sash or a bred Sturdy Donphan with Endeavor and Ice Shard). Keep using Endeavor until he is out of Full Restores (3 Full Restores, so use Endeavor 4 times). After that, you may still have a bit to clean up because of Leftovers and how weak Ice Shard is on the field, so just make sure you have Air Balloons on everyone else and someone else with Intimidate or Sturdy. You might want to try having Cofagrigus use Curse too just in case it lives through the first shot. You'll want an Air Balloon on it too since you need a move that makes contact to pass Mummy and Earthquake doesn't make contact. I think this is pretty idiotproof. Once all the Full Restores are gone and its HP is low, you basically have it.
  23. Well, I don't play competitively, and I just started really using utility moves in Reborn since I never really needed them in games before . . . 1. Evasion-Increasing Moves: Double-Team and Minimize are just awful. There is a reason why Smogon banned them . . . 2. Accuracy-Lowering Moves: These are awful and all they do is slow down the gameplay. I will admit to abusing them at times, but I do feel bad about it. 3. Attract: Attract and moves like it are just useless since you can't guarantee the gender of your opponent's pokemon. AIs spam it like crazy though even against same-gender/genderless pokemon. 4. Spore: I can understand 100% Paralysis and Confusion chances since those status effects don't work 100% of the time to prevent attacks, but 100% Sleep is just broken. At least Yawn has a delay . . . 5. Chatter: Reborn taught me how broken 100% Confusion + 65 Damage is. Not sure if it counts since it also does damage, but it's going on my list anyway. 6. Sleep Talk/Snore: I don't like either of these since they seem to defeat the entire point of Sleep. It's even worse when they are combined with Rest. They might as well not even be asleep . . .? 7. Will-o-Wisp: I will admit to using this in Reborn, but only after some other trainers used it on me and I realized how good it actually is! 8. Quiver Dance: I have a Butterfree with this in one game. It's the only way it can pull its weight since its stats are so bad . . . 9. Detect/Protect: I've never found a way to use these effectively, likely out of my own ignorance. I've never seen them used in a way that is not spammy. 10. Swords Dance: I'm sure it can be good. I've been told it can be good. All I've ever seen though are AIs spamming it when they could be doing better things . . . Ex. Shade's Doublade . . .
