So...some bored little shitbag decided to DDoS attack and thinks he/she was right clever? They made a number of mistakes including pissing off a number of the reborn community for a multitude of reasons...me? yeah im pissed off but not that the website was inaccessible for me but because a number of people in the community, newcomers looking for the game or advice and those looking to find information to aid their reborn experience had nowhere they could think to go because the sad actions of one person.

I honestly thought that somenone forgot to pay up the domain or the gator screwed us over, but looks like the site got attacked yet AGAIN. Well, good to know that everthing's back on track, hopefully the so-called hacker gets what he deserves.

Now I cant get back to post only status updates again! :^)

HostGator was our old server host. It has a strong reputation as one of the leading host companies on the net. Unfortunately we did not find its reputation founded, and we had a lot of outages leading to frequent gator icons appearing on the site and informing us that it was broke as shit.

The outages were for a time so common that that period has apparently been dubbed 'the Gator Wars'. I'm a fan, personally.

Another improvement, though entirely unrelated to this technical debacle: The alternate registration/trainer card import feature on the site has finally been updated to accept Showdown imports rather than PO ones. Thanks to Swimming for correcting that!
