E15 New Availability List

friebz

Question

So I thought I'd start up something that could help us all out and help us figure out which new Pokemon are available and through which methods (exactly how to get them will not fully be explained unless requested) these new Pokemon can be found such an In-Game Events, Limited Events, etc. If I'm missing anything (and I will probably miss a few things more or less) just let me know in the replies. Some of these additions are courtesy of Lostelle.

In-Game Event:

Turtwig (Agate Circus puzzle; where Dive was)

Totodile (Ametrine mountain, left side of split path in B2, hopping around a small area, talk to it before it goes under, need Pokesnax and during the morning)

Lapras (Dive spot in Ametrine Mountain B2 floor on Saturday, roaming around very large dive spot on right side of split path in B2)

Sneasel (Ametrine Mountain 1F on the right side; Rock Smash required. Can also be found in the Mystery Egg)

Squirtle (Mudkip replacement in Wasteland, needs to be a clear day)

Hippopotas (Deep Tanzan Mtn; Giant Steelix location, found in the wild)

Feebas (fish where Retaliate TM is found, very rare and tedious to find because fishing but worth it)

Fennekin (Generator room in Water Treatment Center, need to light up the field in battle w/ Electrode)

Corey's Skuntank (Ametrine Mtn, Sliver Card included)

Limited Event (all found in Police Quest Mystery Egg. A Growlithe egg must be traded for the Mystery Egg. Also includes Pokemon obtained in the wild found in the egg):

Axew

Larvesta

Frillish

Tentacool

Togepi (can be received in Coral Ward during E9)

Vullaby

Shroomish

Drilbur (can be found in the wild in Deep Tanzan in E14)

Staryu

Azurill (If save file is started before E15, Azurill will always be hatched)

Pawniard (found on Route 4)

Rhyhorn (found on Route 2)

Elekid (found in Calcenon City, need Electivizer)

Phantump (found on Route 4 at night I believe)

Starly (found on Route 3)

Cottonee (not sure where it is found in the wild)

Vulpix (available at Obsidian Salon in E14, available somewhere at Agate Circus in E15)

Sneasel (scroll up)

I'm pretty sure the limited event Pokemon are all found in the egg given at the Beryl Police Station, so if anyone wants to help me add to that list I'd be more than happy to make the appropriate additions. One hypothesis to include for the mystery egg is that for anyone who started their save file at E15, the Pokemon you receive from the egg depends on the starter Pokemon you choose at the beginning of the game (18 possible variables for the egg, 18 possible starters to choose from). However, this is merely a theory (a GAME THEORY) and has not been confirmed by Ame or anyone with a higher knowledge of the game's inner workings. This theory is most likely false.

I believe there is a waterfall that you scale down. I surfed for a bit and there is a strength rock blocking the way. Save in front of the strength rock, hit f12. This should put you on top of the rock where you can move further and you can find a dive spot. There is an entrance somewhere in which you can enter b2f.

Ah wasn't sure I had to glitch my way through thanks sir.

You don't have to glitch it... search around and you'll be able to get past it without cheating. It's quite obvious actually.

Alright folks, I'm going to pretty much halt the whole Mystery Egg changing because it's starting to get a little bit ridiculous. Originally, I said I'd help people mainly for those people who haven't completed the episode or are pretty close to Correy and wanted to have a mystery, not this whole "I'm at the end and have nothing to do so I want a different Pokemon than Azurill."

I'll still do people who have 2-7 badges (or pretty much up to Luna), but that's it. I'm still behind on saves and I'll still do those ones. I'm just tired of seeing save files at the end.

The totem in Rhodochrine Jungle. How have people gotten Natu from it? On my save it just circles through Baltoy, Elgyem and Golett. The Natu is the head of the totem and the Poke you battle is always the one which is at the bottom.

I followed FlameDragoon's video and everything, and there's no Lapras here. Yes it's Saturday on my game. Is there a certain time when it appears?

Edit: I tried switching my time to Friday and it appeared?

It stated it on the first page, but Larvesta has a chance to be found in a Mystery Egg event. The mon that you receive is already determined so there is no way of changing it so what you get from it is what you get.

Also, if you completed the previous event, which was for Mareep, you can't do this.

Confirming - but its Azurill not Mareep!

um i think i got a chamander egg from the officer o.o"" I did not know starter are in there too. I guess you can add it to the list, and i can restart again T.T. This will be my number 4 playing it. omg my team for this file is pretty decent too. this is too cruel, the temptation for a lavesta. Before i restart can some one tell me how to save multiple file? i heard it work

nvm, i think i got a vulpix egg. they look so similar o.o

now why would a vulpix be in there, when you can catch it in ep 14. you just need a few pokemon around lvl 30 with effective moves to catch it. Not that it is a bad pokemon (drough, decent speed and special att), but its redundant -.-.

Charmander is not one of the available eggs, you should either hatch it or look through the sprites in the graphics folder to figure out which pokemon it is. As for making multiple files, find your game.rxdata file and rename it something like game1.rxdata, then restart the game. To switch between files just name the one you want to play game.rxdata

@bepe thank you. yeah i believe its a vulpix. So far my data is torchic; marill, frogie; excadrill, mudkip;vulpix. I think someone should collect these infor and do a stat to see if there is a connection between starter and what you get. sign, mudkip is such a useful pokemon against the poison gym, and possible soon, the female fire gym leader that i was having a hard time in my 1st file.

What you choose as your starter doesn't effect what the mystery egg hatches. The egg is randomly determined when you choose your starter, but your choice in starter doesn't matter for what the egg hatches.

Just to add to your data (I don't think there is a connection), I chose a Chimchar and got a Vullaby.

thank autum. I am repeating a mudkip to see if it is random or not. It probably might be my last one, since I found out that we could trade in this game. I just need to find someone that willing to trade me a tantacool, axel, larvesta, and tochepi

My starter is Torchic, so when I get my egg and hatch it, I'll let you know the results.

After saving all five policemen, talk to the head of the police department and you get a female Growlithe. Breed in the Day Care for an Egg.

Growlithe isn't gender locked, you can get a Male one, if that is the case, you have to wait until Ditto (Before Kiki if you dn't forget about the event, after Radomus if you forget).
