I'm glad somebody else around here found the amazing game. Here's a taste for those who might not know it: This and FFV need more appreciation (though FFIX is my favorite). I mean FFV gave us this: Great song, I've gotta say. However, this is a case where I prefer Dissidia's remix: For some reason, I've always loved this theme from Brawl -- I later found out that it was written by Nobuo Uematsu, which probably explains it. And Megaman X8 never disappoints: EDIT: For some reason, spoilers stopped working halfway through this post, and the whole thing is now really borked. It doesn't seem to be fixable either... Reno Posted May 4, 2015 Share Posted May 4, 2015 Anything composed by Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono series, Xenosaga, Inazuma), Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Mana, Breath of Fire), Koji Kondo (Zelda: OoT, Mario) , Ko Otani (Shadow of the Colossus, Sengoku Basara) and Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy) is basically pure gold.Then again there are some games which few people play that have equally good soundtracks.Ar Tonelico is probably the most prominent one in my mind, with beautifully composed soundtracks that get the feels or hymns that use a combination of 3 languages and are masterpieces.
